Many attractions on a limited surface, so that little walking distance to cover. Today the waiting times were not too bad. Except for the virtual reality job. There, 1.15 hours. Far too long for what it is. For the rest worth a five stars. Lots of toilets. A good park for the little ones as well as teenagers and young people. Distribution of mills 1 meter, up to 1.40 meters and larger. Likewise entrance fees
5 year old son can hardly do anything, many attractions start from 1.20cm finds it expensive if you have to pay full money! Will return when he is 1.40cm.
This April 1 I came to this park with my girlfriend and a friend! Prices entrance and parking exessif or when you say hello or you make the effort to speak in Flemish staff completely not deny you no smile at all hosts except the cashier 0 pointed to the entrance which was nice and the only staff . We make an attraction with my girlfriend and my buddy and type of attraction is lets say in Flemish watching my girlfriend what big it's bad luck for him yours I understood what he was saying j 'just wanted him stuffed my fist in the face no respect. Two other staff person who makes fun of my girlfriend because it was hard to put safety are frankly I would put more distance. There's an attraction or safety was rickety or buddy almost go over the car ... it would be high time to refresh also the attractions ... good luck to the next who are expected to eat and drink to advance because small fries with meatball 10 euros ... a small bottle of coke 50cl 3 euros, a small malteser 2 euro ... no person will have staff make the effort to speak french is s' is believed in another world really feel in Belgium !!! I am Belgian and thus !!!
Entertaining park, but everything is said with that. The finish lacks a lot, especially if you compare this with amusement parks like the Efteling. Maintenance can also be done. I also think it is a great park for small children, nothing wrong with it !!
The setting is magnificent: woods, lake, picnic area and numerous benches will delight families. The attractions are many and varied allowing any age / size to have fun and find pleasure. The sets and themes are certainly common to other parks (Texas, Adventureland, Mexico, ...) but very rich, flowery and present. The park is very clean as well as the toilets. Small flat: the park would sometimes need a touch of paint here and there as a refreshment on certain older attractions. Negative point: despite the attractive entry price, the rest remains expensive compared to competitors and it is a shame to offer a somewhat unusual attraction (nightmare motel) but paid (5 p.p).
Sledge Hammer closes in peak season without notice. You will find your tickets +/- 40% cheaper on sites other than those of Bobbejaanland itself. So if you buy your tickets directly from Bobbejaanland, you will be in your pocket before you even arrive. Food, as always in theme parks, not to be eaten despite "the 5-star restaurant prices". Parking "only" 8 euros. Just before 6 pm (the official closing time) several attractions already closed, as well as a visit to the toilet was no longer possible because "water already turned off, sir". Were it not for the above: 4 stars.
I've been to quite a few amusement parks, but this is the worst. The park was run very inefficiently, at almost all attractions there was only one train active in the middle of the summer holidays and if there were several rows available they only had one open so the waiting times were unnecessarily long. I stood in line for more than half an hour for the forbidden caves and then got a broken 3D pair of glasses. When I report this to one of the employees, he doesn't care and I don't even get anything back from an apology. The VR ride allows two people in a car, but there is only 1 VR glasses available per car. And I have many more comments: the rides of the attractions were incredibly short, a map was barely available, a lot of food tents and photoshops were closed, the entrances were unclear and the attractions were not even described in a row or at the entrance , so I didn't realize half the time for which I actually stood in line.
Beautiful park ... Parking to convert in the mud! Everything is normal, but make pay park plan 2 Euros is a bit strong ... The day we were the park closed at 18h and 17h30 the attractions were already closed while the weather was beautiful!
Many attractions closed, in children's country even 1 in 2 because there was only 1 supervisor for 2 attractions. Clearly too few staff in the park. For example: 1 nurse for the entire park? And you couldn't really call it friendly. 3 attractions had to be stopped due to a defect. Bit of a shame for a rather expensive ticket.
It is a clean amusement park, we went in the middle of the summer and the waiting times were not too bad. A must is Mount Mara the new attraction with VR glasses. It was a pity that the Typhoon had a technical malfunction, but otherwise a top amusement park. With attractions for all ages.
There was a lot of fun, nice maze, good laughs, the fountain was a nice refreshment. Certainly enough benches to rest along the domain and a good park, you are advised.
Very nice. A lot is offered for children. Admission price ok if you look at various offers / promotions on the internet. Unfortunately, the price for food and drinks in the park is beyond good and bad.
All you can eat is worthless. Pay extra in the park. It is indicated that the fish restaurant no longer exists (which is on the flyer), but that this has become a kind of kfc. Nice, but this does not seem to belong to the package. The customer-friendliness of the staff is also hard to find.
Very good corona measures. Men's toilets can be cleaned more thoroughly. The fairground attractions where you throw balls to win a cuddly doll causes unrest (last year there was a fight and this year too). The staff at the ball throwing attraction cannot speak Dutch, which also causes a lot of misunderstanding.
Ansich I like to go to Bobbejaanland, but this time I'm disappointed. The rides are great, but you are forever and do not know how long you have to wait. It was also very busy. But the real problem is the food. I waited for 30min at a fries booth and did not come to order. Others who had ordered and paid had to wait more than 60 minutes and then, when they complained, were shouted and tackled. That is not how it works. We then searched longer for alternatives and lost almost two hours searching and eating.
After reading some of the negative reviews I had doubts, but after our visit I was sold. A very nice park with beautiful attractions. Nice employees and a nice clean park. It was a great success for us!
Nice attractions. But it was very busy due to Summer Holidays. When we arrived we had to leave behind children's land, no problem. But we did pass on a narrow path. The cars had to run, it all went well. But with small children I would have found this scary. A tip at 6 o'clock when the attraction closed, we would have liked to buy our dinner but all the restaurants were already closed. Dar saves income anyway.
I spent a good day there, just a downside for the obsolescence of the infrastructures (barriers that fall off, faded paintings, ...) and the cleanliness of the place (a lot of cobwebs and animal waste since those - these are allowed in the park). Also, it's a shame to be in Belgium and not to be entitled to bilingual entertainment (ex: Fordidden Caves entirely in Dutch unless written instructions). The attractions are fun, the atmosphere is not bad, but I will not go back anytime soon if these little quirks that make the visit more pleasant are not settled.
Super fun amusement park for young and old, something for everyone. Parking is a bit less in terms of places, but oh well ... At least you have a nice day
Bobbejaanland is the best amusement park for me, cozy and ideal for families. Bobbejaanland is an amusement park in Lichtaart, located between Herentals and Kasterlee in Belgium, and is named after its founder Bobbejaan Schoepen. The amusement park is located in a swampy area in the valley of the Kleine Nete.
Originate
The name Bobbejaanland was coined by its manager Jacques Kluger. Central to the young Bobbejaanland was water fun, Texas trains, monorails and carousels, but above all show. Until the mid-1970s, the park was basically a variety show center, with a series of performances of one and a half hours each day. Mainly artists from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany performed, whether or not in Schepen's own program. The most famous names are: Louis Neefs, Rocco Granata, Staf Wesenbeek (father of Lynn), Leo Martin, Will Ferdy, Will Tura, Bobby Setter, Jimmy Ross (aka Mel Turner), Jan Theys, Staf Permentier, Liliane Saint-Pierre, the German actress and singer Ilse Werner, and her well-known fellow countrymen Rex Gildo, Michael Holm, and the Dutchman Rudi Carrell (who became Schoepens neighbor for a few years). In February 1969, the then BRT organized the TV show "Uit met Bobbejaan", recorded in and broadcast from Bobbejaanland.
Staff at the reception very friendly and speaking French in fact the older staff was very cool against the youngest not very nice at all aggressive limit in words and not speaking a word! The buoy staff were also great in the late afternoon! Then to find a coffee if we miss the first stand galley ... and when we find one is more than 5 euros coffee latte! A little expensive especially that the distributor a little further he is 2euros20 (no bowl for me) ... attractions were not open and a lot of shops and restaurants ... some toilets closed not cool especially when the typhoon staff being not very sensitive with the backpacks and blew a can in my bag and one in a friend at one time! So to rinse our galley backpack to find a toilet !! The park closes at 17h? Ok it is super early but at 16h 15 16h30 no way to be served a fries because already close! The attractions are still great on the other hand at one time we went into an attraction after a long walk outside and inside bah c was also closed ... and for the parking would be a little more explicit fortunately that the park n was not crowded because to be reset at the exit and have to go back to get the ticket to 8 euros not cool either !! There is a lack of organization everywhere ...
Was fun. Thanks to Carona, we didn't have to wait too long for the popular attractions. It was not busy in the park, quite chill, if you are in the area, definitely recommended.
Surprisingly nice park. Many roller coasters, and water raids. Only the forbidden caves disappointed. Wait an hour for a very moderate 3D experience of 5 minutes. For the rest it is very nice so
A good day-filling amusement park for the whole family. Enough to do for young and old. Only there is still a long way to go in connection with maintenance, but it is heading in the right direction. Price quality is like all amusement parks but on the cheaper side.
Fairly nice park. Not to be compared with, for example, Efteling. Think it is dirty in some places of the park in terms of garbage. There are many eateries but not all open. Very unfortunate because on a busy day you stand in line for half an hour for an ice cream. Maybe we'll get another x in 10 years.
Before the summer holidays my son won a free ticket at school on the condition that an adult also bought a ticket. On Sunday 13/08 we went to Bobbejaanland, my wife had ordered tickets online for herself for me and our daughter. Once there my wife had to go to the counters with the free ticket, there she had to pay 16 euros !! ?? Are those then free tickets? That is just pure deception. Many people will be bothered by this my mail to Test Purchase has already been sent.
