If you want a day out and you no longer have options, bobbejaanland is suitable.
Faded glory of what was once an amusement park, but nowadays it is more of a property with here and there an attraction where the theme doesn't make sense anymore. In general, the atmosphere is no longer there and everything seems to fall apart in terms of theme, overview and communication to visitors.
The 'cowboy' theme, how it started, is now a hybrid of jungle, cowboy and occasionally an attraction without a theme.
What you can buy here (food, drinks and souvenirs) is certainly not worth the price. Logical that it is more expensive for an amusement park but this is ridiculous for what you actually expect.
Save your money for gas in your car or something and go to another, more sophisticated park.

I remember this park was very impressive when I was 8 years old. That was in 1988. Since then, it's gotten a lot of nice additions, and it's still a fun place to go to, but it's beginning to feel a bit dated and there are a few points of interest you might want to pay attention to.

First of all, on days when there aren't many visitors, some attractions will be closed for part of the day. Also, while there are lots of rides which are great for younger kids, most of them require that they are accompanied by an adult if they are under 1.40m (4'8"), if you're not used to the metric system) tall. That eliminates the option of sending your kid(s) off to a relatively safe ride while you go grab a much needed cup of coffee. That is balanced by the fact that almost all rides are accessible for people over 1m, or sometimes 1.20m, tall. It's really a kids oriented park.

There are a few rides that thrill-seeking adults may enjoy, such as the intense Typhoon rollercoaster and the Sledgehammer, and the park will surely keep you busy for a few hours.

My only real annoyance is the fact that there are a lot of pay-to-play type activities in the park. Several gaming arcades, an 8-minute escape room and lots of paid photo opportunities, not to mention the dryers you can step into (and pay) once you've gotten completely soaked in the Banana Boats. Trust me: stay away from those boats if you're carrying anything that doesn't react well to being dropped in a swimming pool.

All in all I still take my 8-year old son here sometimes, but mostly because we have a yearly pass for the Efteling, which affords us a permanent 50% discount on the entry price.

Amusement park in Lichtaart. Price is reasonable. The new attraction fury. Fine coaster but because these are 2 carts the waiting times are long. The rest were fine. The vr coasters mount mara and dreamcatcher did not work. The toilets very clean but the restaurants were not tidy. Nice park with + and minus dots.

Fun Park, a lot of fun rides but there are a few points that could just better so you can compare them before with a 3 star hotel rather than a 4 star hotel. Ex: there are a lot of unevennesses because tree roots have pushed up the pavement (risk of stumbling), a lot of attractions can use a lick of paint, staff who uninterestedly operate the attraction and leave places empty (15 to 20%) which causes extra waiting time. Even in August not all attractions are manned, so some are open in turn. Closing time (18h) is too early for August. Also a lot of catering businesses were closed and a great day (for there were additional parking spaces opened by the rush). The food and drinks are also very pricey ( 4.25 for a small latte machiato). Overall, it's OK but it could be better.

They feel sorry for people with a disability. You have a disabled card but they still let you park in parking D! Because they prefer to turn the special parking spaces for disabled persons into parking spaces for rechargeable cars. And then promising it will all work out. Nothing, they are only after the money. That is becoming increasingly clear!

There are still many work points at this park. There is no 1 prevailing theme, but rather separate attractions with influences from 101 things. Half of the buildings are unused or seriously outdated. The number of roller coasters is very limited, to go over head there is only 1 option. The food is also quite expensive and doesn't seem to add to the neatness of the attractions.

Very nice amusement park. Lots to do for young and old. Nice shows. Good food. If it is too hot, you can get a free ticket for the following day with your ticket after 3 p.m. What service.

WCs are dirty and smelly. Dirty plates are left on tables at the eateries. We stood in line for half an hour for the last attraction, were almost inside when an employee came to inform us that we had to leave because the attraction was closing. Pity. There are nice attractions but little atmosphere.
