Famous for its tea dance. Good pool deck for sunning and people watching. Hotel rooms are basic and could use a total remodel.
Danced my heart out. Had the famous rum punch and had a blast.
Great atmosphere. Awesome place for drinks and to chill!
My first trip to Provincetown. Great service at the pool. The staff are friendly and answer your questions.
CLASSIC p-town resort with all kinds of entertainment and conveniently located just down the street from everything!
The boat slip! it's been a tradition since I turned 21, now 42... it's the only reason I go to Ptown, I love to dance, t-dance , dj MaryAlice.. is phenomenal..
This is an excellent place to stop in and have drinks. Highly recommended for those that are in the area.
Wonderful place to go out with friends meet mingle with our this very good friendly environment in the staff is wonderful
Only experienced the club there... Overall it was enjoyable. Met some fun people. Drinks are weak and overpriced ($18 for 2 Very weak well vodka sodas). You are not allowed to swim and it gets very crowded.
Gets packed full of beautiful people at peak times but drinks are ridiculously high for such small things.
Great music, fun party atmosphere. Thanks Wilma for the great Margheritas!
My first time in Provincetown! We stayed that the Boatslip and had an amazing time. Between the location and Boatslip's activities we knew we made a great choice. It is a quick walk to all attractions and they keep you entertained if you don't want to leave.
,,,, , not your typical Dance, partner dance music. Lots of the same, thump, thump noise, rumixed non-musix. Ear plugs ought to issued, do not bother with dance shoes.
The Boatslip is a P-Town staple going back 50 years or more, and I've stayed there several times. Decor is motel-shabby unless they've had a recent refurbishment, but it's in the middle of all the action, and hosts the daily afternoon Tea Dance on the deck. Accommodations here are generally cheaper than the B&B's on the main drag (Commercial Street). Rooms have either a street view or a pool/bay view which is preferable. The 3 angled rooms facing the pool have a queen bed and the best views, but if you want a little less distractions, those on the other side of that hallway are your best bet. Most rooms have two double beds, and are good for friends to share, but may not be as appealing to a couple. Guests also get free admission to all of the motel's parties and events, including tea dance, which can add up to as much as $100 for a week's stay. Parking is available on site. Also, under the deck at night down by the sand, you'll find the famous d*ck dock. If you haven't heard of it ask anyone in town, or anyone who's ever been there. While in town don't miss Herring Cove beach, and a little shop in the West end called "Relish" makes the best sandwiches in town to take on your trip to the beach.
Amazing time. Wonderful service from friendly employees. I've gone there everyday in my stay in Provincetown.
No one around this time of year, but always fun during the on-season!
T-Dance was a lot of fun! Would highly recommend this dance party if you are in town.
Steven was our bartender and made us feel like regulars on our first night in Ptown. It was a great start to our vacation. Can't wait to go back!
The Boatslip is a great place to stop by for midday "Tea". This typically occurs at 4pm during the summer months. They have several bars to grab drinks at and plenty of space to mingle or dance!
Awesome location. Room looking right at the water. Breakfast is nice. Will be back again.
So nice and cozy. Good drinks, great service and lovely pool. Hbtq deluxe, love it!
Great view good music and a great place to meet friends and chat with strangers good selection of beers.
Spend my days there and then tea dance till sundown. Great staff. Drinks a little pricey but worth it
We have stayed here a few times, but ready to try elsewhere.
Best service ever. Mark, Mark, and Bruce were so hospitable. With beach access I doubt there are any hotels with better atmosphere, rooms, and a view.
Such a nice place, the view, the deck, the pool. I would say 5 star but they don't serve caviar...lol. Day and night panoramic views for you to check out.
I came here for the daytime tea party. It wasn't that crowded but it was a large space to fill with many bars. The view was great and there were still people dancing.
Ptown must-do. Tea dance is always fun. They don't take credit cards though.
Great experience! As a former travel agent, I am naturally critical and I can say there was nothing even average for my stay-all my experiences were above average/excellent! The staff was wonderful-every encounter I had with a staff member was wonderful-they are all friendly, helpful and professional at the same time. Also, they have a breakfast which is fantastic-continental with eggs, bacon/sausage (alternates daily) and potatoes. I looked forward to the breakfast when I woke up. This is a wonderful place to stay!
Stayed there last weekend and it was not an overall good experience particularly due to the lack of customer service orientation of the management of the pool. There doesn t seem to be a priority or consideration to provide service for hotel guests at the pool. The pool manager was curt and unaccommodating at every interaction. People checking us in and the rest of the staff at the pool were very nice and tried to make our stay enjoyable despite restrictions from COVID.
Fun tea dance although gets very hot in the dance floor. Very strong rum punch.
Fun place for tea dance from 4-7 pm daily, primarily lgbt venue. Great music, fun dance floor, good opportunity to meet other tourists.
Nice room with balcony. A little tight in the toilet area. Continental and hot breakfast excellent.
What's not to love about the Boatslip! Great staff, awesome tea dances, strong drinks and a nice pool, all on the biggest deck on Commercial St. I can't wait to go back! :-)
Tea Dance!! Packed, super fun and colorful!! I went on Solid Gold night, the music was awesome. A good time had my all.
Too expensive. Us it poured rain our room had two leaks in the roof so they brought two vases to our room. How about fix the roof. Also the bathroom is cramped closer wall abutts the toilet so you have to sit sideways to use it
Mrs. Anderson is the absolute best! Has a heavy pour and makes delicious drinks. But, best of all, he makes you feel at home. Whether it s at the boat slip or the A house, Mrs. Anderson is our favorite Ptown bartender.
Large outdoor area with a sufficient number of bars. Great bartenders and staff. Great view of the ocean. Dance floor is a bit small but music is loud enough to dance anywhere. Not much seating though
Gone to the T-Dance
Very good place to watch the sunset and listen to music with friends
