Very sad to find out that BWB&G sold their downstairs eatery and rebranded it as Cantina. No pizza and a simple burger is *$16*. The menu offers only only one-third of what it used to be. Absurdly expensive and nothing like it used to be. We will miss our go-to boardwalk pizza stop.

Boardwalk Bar & Grill
Very rude hostess! Overpriced food. Go somewhere else
The wife and I had an awesome time for our date day here. The staff, food and view of the ocean were great.
I go to Point Pleasant Beach ever so often and I just came here for the first time for lunch this weekend. I sat in the rooftop area (thanks to Covid-19), which I actually liked. The service was fast and the waitstaff was very friendly. Also, everything looked immaculately clean which really put me at ease during this terrible times. I ordered a Strawberry Mojito and the Coconut Shrimp entree. Everything was great, but the fries needed some salt. This place is by far better than most of the places on the boardwalk. I will definitely stop by again the next time I am in the area.
The rooftop area was amazing! We came on a weekend at around noon and we ordered the california chicken salad and it was amazing! Definitely recommend this place if you are fed up with the typical boardwalk food and prefer high quality meals. We got tired of the same hot dogs, pizza, fries so we came here and glad we did. They also sanitize after every visitor and also maintain safe social distancing.
My friend and I decided to take a weekend trip to point pleasant to celebrate our 21st birthdays. We went to the boardwalk and we wanted to grab some lunch. We decided to stop here and grab a bite to eat and have a couple drinks. They immediately sat us down at the bar, we ordered some food and drinks, and really enjoyed our time there. The drinks were amazing, the food was also just as amazing, and the bartender was super cool. I ordered the fried seafood combo and was very happy with it. I will definitely be returning next time I am in the area
My girlfriends & I ate on the rooftop on 6/25/2020. The hostesses downstairs was very friendly. Even providing one of my friends with a mask as she couldn't locate hers. The hostess upstairs was a whole other story. She first started by telling my one friend she had to cover up because she had a swim tank top on which was full coverage & actually was more coverage than the top of the dress I had on frankly. Then as my friend was trying to throw on a t-shirt I had luckily just purchased, the hostesses very rudely informed us that we were holding her up as other people were coming up the stairs. She then proceeded to seat us at a table in the rain. When we asked to move to the empty covered bar she let put a huge sigh. Thankfully the woman behind the bar was wonderful! Quick & attentive....but that hostess has to go! She even commented on a conversation my friends where having at the bar that had nothing to do with her. What a rude person to have working in customer service. She clearly hates her job!
We ate at the bar and the bartender was extremely friendly (a school teacher), prompt and on task. She made us feel at home. The food was good. Nothing to spectacular. The views are great of the ocean.
Rude hostess upstairs. Doesn't cost anything to be nice!
My family and friends have been eating here for years. Whether it s on the lower level, or Oceanside dining, the experience has always been above par. DEB is wonderful! She always remembers me as Jess who likes the Penne Vodka , and always does her best to accommodate my party as best as she can. The food is great, the servers are pleasant and the bartender is always pouring! Can t ask for more than that on the Jersey Shore!!!
