I cannot thank BMW Bloomfield enough, if I could give 100 stars I would. We drove from Toronto, Canada down to NJ for a short vacation. Unfortunately the door lock in my 2004 bmw had stopped working (the key could no longer unlock it) and the battery in my key has been dead for some time, so I could not unlock it remotely. Basically there was no way to get inside the car. In the parking lot of my hotel I called a professional locksmith who could not get into the car. I then called a mechanic/locksmith who thought he could get in but also failed and charged us regardless. We were losing hope and even had to stay an extra night to deal with the problem. My plan was to break the window and even got a quote for a new one.

Finally we got in touch with BMW Bloomfield and Gina returned our call. She sounded so confident that they could solve our issue, it re assured us that there WAS a solution to our problem and they could open our car so we could get Home.

They ended up removing the lock of the BMW and opening the car, allowing us to hit the road, and for a fair price!

Thank you to the team BMW Bloomfield, and Gina especially. You literally saved us. I can only say good things about BMW and it makes me proud to represent such a caring brand when I drive my car. I ll always drive a BMW and from now on I ll call the dealer first

I have leased or owned BMW cars for over a decade ...

I have leased or owned BMW cars for over a decade including my two recent 7 series vehicles. Lease is up in 6 months. This dealership and their shady tactics may have soured me on buying from BMW ever again. Their sales person Jerry did a classic bait and switch. Promised one thing and thing switched ALL of the terms -- every single one of them. Ran a credit report and entered erroneous information about the terms. Poor customer service all around.

UPDATE: I do appreciate the quick response from the GM at the dealership. We walked through the timeline and he was helpful in better understanding what occurred and the miscommunications that transpired. I do feel as though our desires and goals were clearly communicated and the sales rep, Gerry, was more interested in selling a car than in ensuring our goals were met. When asked pointed questions, he chose not to respond or give information that was, at best, misleading particularly when we clearly stated what we were looking for. Numerous times we asked the sales rep to speak with his management (verbally and thru text) and he never once complied with that request. It shouldn t take calling out a business on social media to get management to respond. But once that was done they indeed were quick with their response. Lesson for them should to coach their staff to abide by customers wishes when they want to escalate concerns.

It was an exceptional experience concidering the circumstances that they were but under.
We were traveling north from Florida and we hit something in the road and you guessed it! Bue bye tire...the parts dept had the tire in stock and within an hour, the tire was replaced at a reasonable price.
All in all, they got us back on the road and we are living happily ever after.

Terrible experience,I left my car for service they try to charge me double, compare other BMW dealers, and on top of that ,I got a gift from them,they left my engine water tap, on top of the engine ,and my car went over heat ,thank god I notice on time,and found what was going on,I called next day to speak to manager the young lady told me leave your message and never got called back shame on them never never again too bad I have to give them one * because they deserve 0 stars

Bloomfield BMW is a very good dealership. Customer service is always helpful and waiting area is nice with snacks, drinks, etc. I have been taking my X5 here for a number of years for oil change, etc. and they always take care of me promptly. Also has oil change specials on line sometimes which is pretty good.

I had a flat tire and went to BMW of Bloomfield this week. In spite of not having a service appointment, I was assisted immediately and the punctured tire was replaced within an hour.
I was also due for an oil change and that was also taken care while the tire was being replaced. This was a real bonus as it saved a trip.
I was very pleased with my experience at BMW of Bloomfield.

Worst customer service ever!! I took my car in wit...

Worst customer service ever!! I took my car in with mist coming in the left headlight and bad left door panel. The service rep (Trevor) told me that I probably hit my car somewhere which could be the reason for things going bad on the left side of the car. I had to literally provide the pictures with dates when the headlight and door panel was last worked on by them and it wasn't done correctly. Then after the car was serviced I found out that the headlight stopped working completely and I asked him to fix it. He was just too rude and kept saying that they will not work on the headlight until I pay them $140 for diagnosis. This is just bad customer service and a malpractice on braking something to ask the customer for money. I will not recommend anyone going there. The management has changed and all the good old people have left BMW of Bloomfield. Not a kind of customer service you would expect from a brand like BMW!

So I received a SPAM from the dealership (I've unsubscribed multiple times) asking me to write a review. Be careful for what you wish for...
Until this summer, I was a BMW advocate. I now drive an Audi Q7 after the way I was treated by both this dealership and BMW when the engine blew on my 2013 550 w/ M package.
With just over 86k miles my engine blew, yet no one could tell me why. Oil was changed every 5000 miles (vs the 10k BMW recommends). Because my extended warranty had just expired, dealership management told me that "corporate" should do something because an engine should not blow with so few miles. After a month and a half of following up with the dealership (because no one was proactively contacting me), I tired of hearing "corporate hasn't gotten back to us" so I called corporate directly. Within 48 hours, corporate contacted me to tell me how important a customer I was, and then proceeded to offer me an insulting discount if I purchased a new BMW.
If I sound bitter, it's because I am. Bitter that BMW wouldn't stand behind their product. Bitter that the dealership wasted my time by not returning my calls or emails and not calling me at agreed upon times.
If you value quality autos and professional dealerships, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Went to this dealer without an appointment just to take a look at some options on a busy weekend. I was attended very quickly and assigned to salesman Mr Henry, who was very welcoming and kind enough to go through all the details and answer all my questions. I decided to my buy my first BMW in less than 30 mins, there was not a whole lot of back and forth. Mr Henry took care of additional warranty, maintenance and all little scratches in the car. Car was delivered to my home and technician went over all the operation details and am loving my first BMW.

Customer service at this dealership is the best and I would definitely recommend it.

Fast, friendly and easy. Purchased from out of state and did the deal via one phone call and few texts. BMW of Bloomfield helped coordinate enclosed transportation as part of the deal. Steeve E. was response and attentive to questions and follow up. BMW of Bloomfield coordinated with a third party to come to my home and sign all the paperwork. A fairly painless process.

Would buy from BMW of Bloomfield again.

We recently leased a new X3 from this dealership. Bobby Kaufman was the salesman. All it took was a phone call. Bobby gave us the 3 year lease rate on Tuesday, and we picked up the car on Saturday. The experience was an In & out without any hassle just the way we like it and all car buying experiences should be. I really recommend this dealership and Bobby Kaufman if you are shopping for a BMW in tri-states.

I brought my 2013 X3 in for service, and to have them give me a price on replacing the car thermostat. Cars are something I understand, and after doing research I knew about how much work was going to be involved in replacing the thermostat. I expected the work to be about $400 including the $110 part. I was quoted $3,000. The service advisor I was working with told me that in addition to the thermostat my heat exchanger needed replacing. There was nothing wrong with my heat exchanger, and when I asked the service advisor why they would suggest such a repair he got defensive and just started telling me how much labor was involved.

In summary this dealership felt sleazy which came as a surprise since this is my 2nd BMW and have visited a half dozen dealerships in NJ/NY and CA and I have always been happy with my experience.

Nothing but excellence

I only had to make 3 trips to the dealer to make my deal happen - there was no run-around or haggling. One to get my pricing options (excellent prices), one to place the order, and one to pick up the car. This is how straight forward the process was at BMW of Bloomfield. Christian Graciano was excellent and added to the ease of the lease of my new 435 xDrive. Since this vehicle had to be ordered, Christian was vigilant in providing me with constant updates on the production status/location of the vehicle on it's journey from Germany. This was not necessary, being that the order status can be viewed online or by calling a toll-free number, but Christian's efforts did not go unnoticed. The process from beginning to end was flawless thanks to a great dealership and an excellent client advisor. They will certainly have my business for the foreseeable future.

It is also worth noting that I visited several other BMW dealerships prior to BMW of Bloomfield, and my review stands in comparison to the other dealerships and client advisors that I dealt with.

I took my car in for a leaking rear differential, and they returned it broken (car now has a loud metallic pinging sound when driving). Instead of making it right, they fixed one part (which turned out to not be the issue), then never returned a call/email/text again. I've probably reached out to them about 10-15 times since their initial attempt to make it right, just to open up the conversation about how my car is still having the same issues, but of course no reply. Now it's going to cost me money to have my car repaired elsewhere...... It's weird because when I initially brought my car in, I expressed how I'm new to the area and am looking for a new trusted BMW to take care of my car for the next 5-10 years. Even had them quote out a bunch of preventative maintenance jobs that I was looking to have done within the next 6-12 months. Needless to say, I will not have those jobs done at BMW of Bloomfield.

On top of them breaking my car and not fixing it, the service advisors literally do not care about you. They're happy when your cars broken for some reason, maybe they get some sort of commission? They also have no problem making you wait. One time I waited over AN HOUR AND A HALF to talk to someone... just absurd

I've never had a more poor experience at any dealership/repair shop etc. I strongly suggest not bringing your car here for any reason. Go to Park Ave BMW, or anywhere else.

Hi, I was looking for a first car for my son & daughter.. It was labor day and everyone was in rush, we reached Bloomberg BMW just before closing. Scott Marlowe was kind enough to receive us and promised to bring the SMILE to our face with excellent quality of service and by getting us the car what we need. He narrowed down the car inventory and showed us which matched perfectly to our need. He was very polite, very professional and didn't put any pressure to buy the car. He gave us the best price, and once deal is finalized made promise to keep car ready following day for delivery. Next day everything (Loan etc) was done over the phone. I also must say when he called me there was a problem with my phone, but he still called me few times to make sure I get message and I get best interest rate. When we went to pick up the car, it was ready with shine. I would strongly recommend him. He went above and beyond to make our whole family happy and arranged a dream car for my kids. Thanks!!

I came to this dealership after finding a car which typically wouldn't have been in this particular dealerships portfolio (Jeep Grand Cherokee). Upon arriving, I was introduced to Sam Shehata (Sales guru Sam). Honestly, the dude blew me away. He didn't have to work as hard as he did but man did he make me feel comfortable. Helped me to get to a price I was comfortable with for my dream car, worked hard to get great financing despite me not having exactly stellar credit, and helped deal with a logistical nightmare as I was moving out of state 6 days after the purchase. I can't recommend this dealership of Sam enough. They made buying a car a pleasure

Great job in quickly helping me find what I wanted...

Great job in quickly helping me find what I wanted, but took forever to close the deal. 1 hour to find and obtain the car, 1.5 hours negotiation, 4.5 hours to finish paperwork and get the car while with two little kids. Not fun! Not happy when I saw my name on the bottom of the list to meet with the finance game when I had an appointment at noon and it was 4:30. Sales guy did not seem happy with the deal we made but the manager, manager was very helpful. When I told him how long I was waiting, the finance guy and the BMW genius immediately met with me.

By far the best service experience I've had from any BMW dealership, keep up the good work and recommending everyone that has a BMW to go to BMW of Bloomfield .

A great service experience. My blown tires were replaced in about 6 hours and because I had a full day otherwise, my car was brought to me locally at work when completed. Michael, the service adviser, kept me up to date with the progress of the repair with text messaging throughout the morning.

Bought a 750i on Oct 31st 2014 a few days later I discovered its leaking oil then 4 weeks later the trans went brought it back to Bloomfield bmw they didn t want to fix it under the dch 90 day warranty after a little back forth they said decided to then a few days later I was called back in to the dealer they said I should pick out another car because the 750i has too much wrong with it and it cost too much to fix so did then a few days after that they told me I cant get the other car also because of a 6 thousand dollar negative equity with the bank the bank said the car had to be of equal value for a switch or they would have to pay the 6grand equity so they decided to fix the 750i without even saying a word to me ..wow now Bloomfield bmw has had my car for 5 weeks no one has called and given me an update no word on my car I went there to talk to the used car manager to see what was going on this guy acted like I was begging him something he is the one who offered me a different car and went back on his word this I my worst car buying experience these guys don t care about their customers at all only if everything is going smoothly very bad customer service .i was and am still being treated like I was begging them for car instead of buying it took them 2 weeks out of the 5 weeks and counting to offer me a loaner so for 2weeks I had to catch the bus .its now January 17 and no one has updated me on my car and I know it don t take 5 weeks to change a trans in a car these people are conartists and I would not recommend them to anyone I could bet if I was a Wight man the situation would have been different

Christian was very knowledgeable in the explanation of the vehicle's functions and its performance level. We learned a great deal from him and would recommend him to all of our friends. I had a tire blow-out on my way to work which put a damper on my morning drive, but the bad news ended there. I requested to be towed to Bloomfield BMW to have the tire replaced and got there just before the Service Department opened. I was greeted by a receptionist who was helpful and courteous. She directed me to David Ferreira, a service consultant who immediately took my information and arranged for the tire to be replaced. David coordinated the tire replacement and had me on my way in quick time. I had a very favorable impression of the service team at Bloomfield BMW. They were courteous, professional and thorough. I was expecting some issues because I was just a "walk-in", but was pleasantly surprised by the great experience that I had. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

On Saturday, March 2 while traveling home on the g...

On Saturday, March 2 while traveling home on the garden state parkway I had a tire blow out on this of what seems to be the notorious pot hole near mile marker 145. I was obviously a long distance from home and realized I was close to the Bloomfield Dealership. So I drove on my run flat and arrived. I have to say that I was very pessimistic because it was late on Saturday and the service dept was literally swamped with cars. When I proceeded to the service counter the girl I forgot her name(frizzy black hair) saw that I was stressed out and when I told her about my issue, she smiled and said, no problem, we are here to help you. I have to say that her smile and positive demeanor really calmed me
Down. So, as they say you never forget first impressions your dealership made an everlasting positive for me!!! Well my vehicle was fixed within an hour and I was able to continue on my journey home. Kudos to the service department for treating me
