Best insurance company that I have ever experienced! I feel like they treat me like part of their family. I love helping our community, rather than a huge corporation. They have gone above and beyond to help my family with our home owners insurance. Thank you!!!

Horrible company. Knowingly insured a property which the person was deceased and no longer on the title. Waited until the month after the next premium payment to say they were dropping coverage. Now intentionally ignoring agent, not returning calls, making out checks to the wrong person instead of the mortgage company which paid them, etc. If they are this bad about this, imagine when you have to make a claim. I would give the zero stars if possible. Will likely report this to the dept of insurance.

We just recently bought a home and BMI Company picked us up for coverage. Our agent called us demanding money because our loan company "short paid" BMI. However, we found out by our loan company that our policy increased without our knowledge. Then we received a check in the mail with a letter stating BMI was dropping our entire roof coverage. When we reached out to our agent, she had no clue what was going on. After she spoke to BMI, they stated we had significant hail damage and would not cover us again until we replaced our entire roof. We climbed our roof and didn't find any "significant hail damage." We then climbed our carport, only to realize our "significant hail damage" was nothing more than a few dings in a ventless vent. We had many roofing companies come look at our roof and no one agreed this roof to our CARPORT needed to be replaced. According to the policy, BMI has 60 days after the policy is instated to modify or drop coverage for any reason. BMI's inspector didn't come out until 74 days after our policy began. Also in their policy, they are supposed to give you 10 days notice for changing the policy. We were not notified. I did give them one star because when we cancelled our policy and asked for our premiums to be refunded, they did refund us. However, I would not encourage anyone to insure anything through BMI.

Everyone I've had to deal with at BMI is very nice and super helpful. They're quick to return emails and phone calls. I've had 2 claims, and I had the same adjuster for both. I liked that he remembered us from the first claim. They don't keep you waiting around for processing. Highly recommend!

Every time I call and need something or have a question, they are very responsive and super helpful! Recently called needing an updated document from the underwriter and they were extremely kind and got me what I needed in no time! Thanks for the help and outstanding service!
