After the check engine light came on in my husband's car, we scheduled to have it looked at. 6 days later, and the car hasn't been touched. It's incredibly inconvenient not to have our car for an extended length of time, especially when we've been talking with the department on multiple occasions to try to nail down when they will actually have time to look at the car so that we can plan accordingly.
If they have a high volume of cars to work on, I get it. But what is stopping them from being able to manage their scheduling and give accurate estimates on when work can be done?
Well for one it's not cool to pay over $1300 and pick your truck up and find out they forgot to hook something back up! And instead of offering tank of gas, or free oil change are even a free car wash! Especially if the person is a regular customer who has put their faith in your service department for a few years now! Really not kool to have another person standing there complaining to me about their truck too! Kinda makes you wonder if you are taking your truck to the right service people! And don't get it twisted John Miller is a Excellent service rep!
