Sevagram Ashram is the most valuable historic place. If you know the history or want to know history of bapu ji. Then you must visit. Everything related to mahatama gandhi ji. Well maintained. His paduka, bathtub, kutia( ashram) , lathi, chasma, everything. You can buy various book about gandhi Ji and other. Must visit with family.

A good place to spend 2 to 3 hours with a family picnic

Peaceful historical place. Government should help develop this place for better tourism knowledge. Every person should know how things happened and how India got freedom. A nice place to look into our history.

Simple & beautiful!
Reflection of a great Mahatma who stuck to simplicity & truth throughout his life.
Set in natural surroundings, has a restaurant, handicraft shop & museum.
Roadside free parking available. On holidays gets crowded.
Limited accommodation available on nominal charges.

This place has a speaking effect on visitors. Just Mahatma Gandhi has been servicing Country Mother Land and Gau Mata , so is the place. I have enjoyed fresh cow milk products and it was great to have the same. I also have south indian items in the restaurant running by Sevagram Ashram. It is almost 3 three KMs from Sevagram (Railway code SEGM) Railway station and almost 5 five KMs from Wardha ( Railway station code WR).

Beautiful serene place to visit and get close to the history. Relics of Mahatma Gandhi are well preserved

A must visit place in Wardha. Such peaceful serene surroundings. All the exhibits from Gandhi's stay are displayed. Can purchase khadi textilrs and other handmade products.

Superb place to have peace in life one should really visit once

I love this place. Bapu kuti .
First up all these houses are made by bapu.
Bapu kept 3 conditions in front of contractor (house maker)
1.the whole house expenses should not be above 500 rs.
2. The material used in making house should be from 20 or less km..
3. At any corner of the house, sunlight should be present.
But all the contractors failed then Bapu to buy his hand make the house.
This house is made up of limestone, Bambu, cow dung, soil.

Serene atmosphere. Pleasantly surrounded by trees. Home like food available at very reasonable rate.

This is a place sanctified by Mahatma. One can feel his presence everywhere .His magnanimity lies in his simplicity and noble thoughts.

Bapu Kuti Aashram is peaceful place. It will recall the memories of Gandhi Ji. Gandhi ji had started his Padyatra from this Aashram to Ahmedabad for Salt Satyagraha.

Nice place. One can get all the know how of National Father of our country Mahatma Gandhi. His last times was spent here at Sewagram. All the things are kept very conservatively. A good ferling comes automatically when we enter the Ashram of Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi.

Quite little place in sewagram. Just 15 mins from the nearest railway station. Very popular with tourists. Also houses a canteen. Serves vegetarian food at very affordable prices that tastes good too. Lookout for bapu kuti i.e.mahatma Gandhi's residence it's a small hut inside the ashram. Large banyan tree with a surrounding structure that you can sit on and chill out. It really is very peaceful and also a Popular venue for various protests as well.

Very nice environment or there they keep the place very clean the behaviour of the local people is very good.

Bapu Ashram is unique in nature and naturally. It is a great place to stay at a high quality and low cost meal ....

I mean this is an awesome break from city crowd and a relaxing place too ...
