A nice comfy wine bar in the middle of Castro. There are couches, bar area and tables where you can sit and chat with friends. The wine collection is decent but not amazing. The crowd is very diverse set of people.

Vincent, Christopher and all the other bartenders will welcome you and make you feel like a Cheers cast member. It's warm and friendly inside, with a comfortable beer and wine selection! They also serve food if you're wanting a bite along with your drink. In summary, Blush wine bar is a great place to rendezvous with your friends, whether they be gay, or straight. Check it out sometime!

This is probably the first time ever that I got a glass of wine that doesn't taste like vodka. No seriously, most of the times I am served a wine glass that was probably opened months ago, and so the actual taste and smell changes. This felt like the bottle was just opened, maybe, and the merlot was so smooth - loved it. The outdoor seating is great with awesome lights, and the staff is really kind too. Not a fan of the beer kombucha, but would definitely be back for the wine.

A colleague picked Bluestem Brasserie for a working lunch with a couple of vendors a few days ago and made reservations of 11:30 am. When we landed up they could not find our reservations but had us seated at one of the booths. The restaurant was pretty empty and even after an hour or so it would be easy to get a table without needing reservations.
