Bluffton PD is a very class act. Thank you all for your dedication to protecting and serving our town. You are appreciated by all.

My husband and I have had occasion to work with Officer Nelson of Bluffton Police Dept. on 2 occasions in the last week. We have found him to be very professional, understanding, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Thank you so much Officer Nelson.

I lost my wallet with my driver's license while traveling in SC. In order to get on my flight home, I needed a police report of the loss. Everyone was so helpful, especially since the office was closed on friday afternoon. Both Camille and Officer Nass (and others whose names I don't know) bent over backwards to get me what I needed. I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone involved.

They did a good job when they arrested me. I wasn't beaten and I got my stuff back (the legal stuff). There are worse police departments to get arrested by I'm sure.

I witnessed community policing at its finest August 12, 2019 around 2pm. I was at the Church of the Cross in Olde Towne Bluffton and there was a man down on his luck leaning against a trash receptacle. One of Bluffton PD's finest stopped to speak to the man and offered him assistance. The officer used his personal cell phone to call a friend of the gentleman to come get him. The officer then provided the man with a burrito and water while they waited for his friend to come get him. I am proud to live in a community where police are loving to their fellow man. I wish I knew the officer's name because I would love to buy him lunch and make sure he gets the recognition he deserves. Amazing work from Bluffton PD!
