Good size, especially with a toddler. Lots of love...

I can t possibly comment on the inside of the aquarium as we never made it in.
The COVID-SECURE status needs not just refining, but overhauling.
The manager, wouldn t even come and talk to our party, or the other disgruntled parties. They were too busy to focus on customer service.
It was pouring down with rain, and a 1hr plus queue. I m not talking of a heavy rain shower, like the sky is open pouring consistently, now I know they can t help the weather.
However, they knew how many people had pre-booked tickets, yet only 1 member of staff checking in guests. 100s of guests outside in the pouring rain with only 1 member of staff.
The staff have stated time slots weren t possible.
Given that a hair dresser, a dog groomer, nhs vaccine service are all capable of implementing time slots is like to think an aquarium on Newquay seafront could manage it.
We left with multiple crying children who were soaked to the bones. They have completely stuffed the re-opening of the venue following the relaxations Covid restrictions.
The manager, he/she cause they wouldn t come and meet with their customers needs re-appointing quickly.
Maybe, washing the filter media would be a more suitable job for someone who doesn t want to interact with their paying guests.
Re-assess the guidance for the venue, respond to customers emails, step up, admit you could have handled this better.
It s also noted after a tank full of similar reviews to this they have now removed the review function on Facebook.
Hiding from peoples opinions will NOT fix your failings.
We have emailed the aquarium directly requesting a refund. No contact has been received from them.
It's nice place to visit but don't expect to be there for long . Not too much to view
Great disability access,Fully working lift.
Watched them feed the turtle lots of facts.
Not very good to find maps takes you the long way round and down the stairs.
Need to limit the amount of people watching at feeding time lots of people all in one space.
Don t book if it is raining because you will have to queue outside for at least an hour to get in. This could be easily fixed if the management team implemented a timed arrival system but that would limit the tickets they could sell ... definitely an example of money-grabbing at the expense of their customers experience.
Very enjoyable. It's not very big (you could get through in c.30 minutes) but they had some lovely animals and creatures. They also had a feeding session at 14:30 but they feed the fish too far away from the spectators so you barely see anything.
It's nice place for the family visit, however in current climate blue reef staff could do little bit more to help the cleanliness of this place such as cleaning and disinfecting aquarium glass as its visibly dirty on outside. Hand and children's face marks allover. It's absolutely disgusting. Not enough hand sanitiser along the way.
Small but well kept. Takes a lot of time, knowledge and money to keep marine life healthy. Doing a food job guys!
Nice little place, quite small for the price...
Aquariums seem clean... Its nice that the turtle had somewhere nice and safe to live out the rest of his life after being injured in Greece (I did wonder why he kept swimming in circles and banging into things until I read all about him). It would be nice to see some of the sea life being fed or some of the staff around to do little talks (this is still possible during the current situation)... Quite pricey for what it is. We were in and out in 30mins.
