I always told my husband there s no one who can cook fish as good as you ! Well I was wrong! The fish was cooked perfectly , seasoned not over or under just perfect melt in your mouth and lightly fried. You didn t even need tarter sauce but the that was homemade and so delicious! We ve tried a lot of fish restaurants and this one has topped them all! We can t wait to go back!
We went there during Gator Nationals And the place was packed. After finally finding an area where I could put my name in, it took 10 minutes before I was recognized. We agreed to sitting outside for faster service. Meanwhile, several groups without reservations came with the same dilemma and were seated well in advance of us. After we were finally seated they promised us water. It took them 45 minutes to deliver water, but I didn't get any. Meanwhile, everybody ordered ahead of us and had their food. We still had not placed our order. It took another hour and 15 minutes for us to get our food. When it arrived, the fish and french fries were cold, the shrimp was lukewarm and I still didn't have any water. It will be a very long time before I return. No apologies were made to us.
This place has an extraordinary selection to choose, ranging from Escargot to other options I rarely come across when at other restaurants. All the food was fresh and delicious, not to mention we had a kind server. 100% recommend anytime you're in the area!
Slow service experience. Warm good food, prepared well. To-go orders are faster than dine-in. Try the key lime cheesecake! This is a great place for a filling quick bite. Peel and eat shrimp is a great deal!
I have been to this restaurant 4 times. The first time I was taking there for my birthday, man, was I surprised at how MUCH food they brought out!!! It was amazing, the food was awesome! We have even taken other people there.
I give y'all VERY high prompts, except, one time y'all didn't have stuffed crabs, they brought us some sort of vegetable rolls. They didn't add uo to anything that we were missing. I think that they should have informed us and give us an opportunity to choose.
Otherwise, they are awesome in every type of way!!!

Blue Water Bay, good food, great seafood and great steaks. They have a nice bar as well. Service is on par. They are usually busy so get there a little early. They do have live music some nights so you might want to give them a call and find out when if your looking for music, a good meal and a drink. This place has been around since before I was a little kid. They have always been a good place to eat. The price is a little higher than some places, but for the quality of food I think it's worth it. They have specials several nights a week. Their seafood bar is good when they have it, their steak night is good also. So if you're in the area around Melrose FL and you want some good food give them a try.
Our favorite restaurant! We started trying the food here last year as I was staying close by. Since then we gladly make the trip an hour away at least once a month. We haven t had anything we didn t care for. The service is always outstanding! Lee up the fantastic job!
This place was great. It's in the little town of Melrose. On State road 26. The decor was really nice. Though the bench seats could be replaced.
My friend was a little talkative to say the least but the waitress was patient with her and gave her everything she asked for. Even the management helped with her.
The food was absolutely delicious and you got your money's worth. The seafood was so yummy! My friend got fried Green tomatoes and I got calamari for appetizers. She absolutely loved the green tomatoes though I thought they were cut of just a little thick for my taste. The calamari was so good. My friend had had it before and didn't like it and she really liked this. Calamari it was almost a meal in itself. I have to say I didn't care for the dip that they had. It was supposed to be marinara sauce. Probably homemade. The waitress kept saying it was a little sweet. But I kind of got a Tang from it. Not sure if it was my taste buds or the marinara itself.
We both ordered salads. She got a house salad and I got a seven-layer salad. Her house was average size. She absolutely loved the blue cheese that she got.Nice big chunks of blue cheese. I didn't try it but it look good. Now the seven layers salad was so big it wouldn't even fit on the plate it was sat on. The ranch dressing that went with it was delicious thick rich and oh so yummy.
I didn't even try to eat all of it because it was so big and I really wanted my etouffee that I had ordered.
The etouffee was delicious. Big chunks of seafood and other vegetables. I didn't know it came with peppers or I would have asked them to remove them. It was made to order. It came with rice that had vegetables in it. I had asked them to put it on the side because I just don't eat rice. My roommate is yet to try it. It actually look pretty good. The bowls are so big I can barely make a dent in mine. But it was so enjoyable. That would have been a meal for at least two people.
My friend ordered the seafood platter which had shrimp scallops egg rolls fish hush puppies and it was supposed to come with fries but they let her get baked potato instead. Didn't know it was supposed to be for two people or looking at that platter four people. It was absolutely huge.
She got coleslaw on the side as well as fried oysters. The coleslaw looked really good had fruit and it as well as cabbage. The oysters were fried perfectly.
The only thing I really didn't like was the desserts. I'm decided to try it cuz it was cheesecake and that's my absolute favorite dessert. I got a peach and she got blueberry.
Peach had a light peach glaze with a couple pieces of peach on it and the cheesecake itself tasted like pumpkin. It did not work for me at all. My friends blueberry was perfectly to her taste. And when I took a bite it tasted like blueberry all the way through. I did not get any sense of the cheesecake on either of them.
We paid a pretty penny but for the most part it was absolutely worth it. From the art on the walls to most of the food itself. You did get your money's worth.
My first visit here. It came recommended by some locals. Maybe we ordered the wrong meal. Picked the grilled seafood for 2, which is probably good for 3.
However, no options on sides. Came with Watery pasta, some kind of green leaves, undercooked tiny scallops, stale salmon, grilled veggies and shrimp.
It took about 2 hrs before the diarrhea set in from the undercooked scallops. Thank goodness we left most of them.
The grilled shrimp and veggies were good. They should have stopped there.
For dessert, the pumpkin spice cheesecake was tasty, but similar to a pudding in consistency. I find it hard to describe, definitely NOT your Cheesecake Factory type of cheesecake. However, the Keystone natives thought it was great.
I have been, influenced to give them another try. Next time we will definitely go for the fried combo instead of grilled and switch to the chocolate cheesecake which looked very good.
For now I'll give them a gracious 3 stars.
