Cool little brewery/tap room in Madison. Not quite as big as some of the other local breweries, but still a pretty good selection. Prices are reasonable, especially if you want to try a couple different beers and get a flight!
Fantastic local brewery in Madison. The Pinstripe Stout series is outstanding. Award winning beer from Blue Pants as well as some whiskey, rum, and other spirits made by this brewery.
Good beer and the workers are friendly. Inside is a little small on more popular nights but the outdoor area is relaxing and a great place to hang out. Only 4/5 stars though as I have experienced some inconstancies with their beer flavor over time.
Would NOT recommend trivia night. Very unorganized, and understaffed - we had to wait over a half hour between every round while they counted points (I guess no one could count while other rounds were going...??) The one beer I stood in line FOR 25 MINUTES to get was pretty good, which is the only reason I m rating a 2 instead of 1.
Good local brew here. Could desire a little more as far as samples and recommendations, but other Tap rooms and Brew Houses could make your expectations too high. If your here to meet up and drink with your friends, great place... if you are here to try to meet random folks, probably not.
Decent stop for a beer or some locally distilled spirits. I stopped in on the way to a flight home since this is close to the airport. They have a solid and varied selection of beers. I liked their IPAs and porters. I also got to taste one of their clear spirits, a barrel-aged gin and it was not bad. The bartender knows the products and was solid. It s a small place.
Just discovered Blue Pants today with a friend. Great little local brewery. Bartender was very knowledgeable about the beers and totally cool letting you sample their wide selection . Nice little place to hang out with a few friends and not be overwhelmed by huge crowds or crazy prices. The peanut butter cup stout is great but the hop busted IPA is my favorite.
Such an awesome spot. The taproom is comfortable and inviting and allows for a good look into the brewery where impressive equipment is on display. The beer is top notch and the owners are always experimenting with different brews to keep things interesting. It's also a really nice music venue complete with outdoor seating. I definitely recommend a trip.
Bad location, but nice setup. They have a huge backyard area with a few picnic tables. You can BYOF or order pizza to their location. I hear the beer is really good. However I can confirm that their whisky is simply terrible. It's even wore than Straight to Ale. But their known for their been not liquor so whatever. Would go again.
Beer was good, but all the cigar smoke on the patio made me leave. Not much of a food option either, just peanuts. Not expecting a meal, but something other than peanuts.
