The best Ski Resort in PA by far. Variety of slopes with a variety of difficulty. Very fun slopes for me, an intermediate skiier. Friendly staff. DELICIOUS food, especially for quarantine times. The environment is good for learning and moral boosting unless people who suck participate. Great no-contact entry systems if you're worried about cross-contamination during quarantine.

20 of us ended up getting the whole little prairie for a camping/adventure weekend in July. There is tons of space but we actually just used circa 4 sites for circa 16 small tents so that we could all sit around one of the fire pits far away from the tents. The little prairie is not flat so another small group ended up setting up tents on the upper level. That was fine with us since they were far away. There is not much shade so bring a canopy. Currently the camping ground is not too busy so if you are early you can find a good flat spot to set up a tent (you can not reserve spots). If you come late you may have to set up a tent on a sloped surface.
The bath rooms and showers are a 5 minute walk but we were happy with them. A mirror in the showers would be beneficial.
We ended up doing the night tree adventure/zip lining, mountain biking, learning how to paddle board, hiking, climbing, and eating at the Slope Side Bar and Grill. We did not do all activities as a group but it was nice that so much was on offer and that everyone could do what they wanted to do. Some even went to a lake near Jim Thorpe that had a wonderful beach and was good for swimming (you can not swim in the lake near the campground).
The group booking system and the waiver process at Blue is terrible. At other locations I have brought groups to, everyone in the group gets a link (that is only for the group and can only be used by a certain number of people; say 20. After 20 the link becomes invalid). The key thing is that this way we get a group discount, everyone can pick and choose the activity they want to participate in and everyone in the group can pay for themselves and then receive automatically a link with the waiver. This time I had to send three emails to remind people to complete the waiver and then 3 still did not do it before they got there.
Highly recommend! So many slopes, great rental equipment and friendly staff. The views during the day and night are gorgeous plus the bathrooms and locker areas were clean. We are definitely going here again.
Oh my god this has got to be the best mountain for me coming from Northern Jersey! Only an hour away from me and possibly the best within a 2 hours distance. The scenic drive over was amazing. The views were just stunning. Great sunsets. Great trails. Great people. Great park skiing to wet your lips (beware of their big jump) Gorgeous mountain top lodge. Probably the only good double black and woods skiing of any of my neighboring mountains. Midday pass is perfect for an early morning tailgate and evening sunset bbq by the car. A pro tip I discovered after my second time coming, park up top for a stunning sunset view and a true cherry on top to this amazing mountain and ski day.
Super fun little resort in the Poconos. Lots of amenities including open lodge for Atm, store, bike shop, and an outdoor shower house. Campsites were better than expected. General great all round atmosphere. Trails ripped for the Eastern States Cup! The riders absolutely loved the course. Stoked to come back.
We were there this past Friday March 19th. Bought tickets in advance. A day before our trip I got email with all the detail. What to wear, where to go, how get your tickets. It was our first time snow tubing. We got here a few hours earlier. They have great outdoor fire pits with chairs. We hang out got some lunch, which is overpriced. But I guess that's what you can expect for a resort. Staff was very helpful and friendly. It was easy check in. No hassle. We had no lines and were able to snow tube all 3 hours without any wait time. I live the way their check in system set up. My son also lost his pass and we had no trouble getting him a replacement one. Deff will be back next year. My kids want to try skiing.
Beautiful place! My nephew had a school trip here & the kids had so much fun!! Zip line, games, adventure & they really did a great job with the kids. Love snow tubing in the winter.Every weekend in October the have ski lift rides. Always something entertaining going on for family fun. They go al out for a great time. Reasonably priced so you don't go broke having a good time. If you love the outdoors & beautiful sceneries this is the place to be!!
This place is amazing, I spent three days with my husband in the cabins and it was absolutely magical. We had a great time, the service was amazing, the place was clean, the showers were super clean and hygienic. We got food packages and sangria which was over the top, as well as on time. Overall a great experience, thinking about going back in winter time!.
