Recommended! Relaxing atmosphere and beautiful tour complete with audio tour in many languages. The cheapest in Amsterdam but top!

Me and my girlfriend enjoy the beautiful scenes and wonderful tour on the boat and I would come again with mym family to enjoy the wonderful services and tours. I think it is the good choice for everyone who come to this beautifu lcountry for good and nice spots.

A trip in an "open boat" through the Amsterdam canals is an absolute must when visiting this wonderful city. When the weather is nice, it is definitely the best choice to get to know the city and see it from a different perspective. Our guide spoke simple English that was easy to understand. He was very entertaining and knew a funny story on every corner. The result: an absolute recommendation!

What a great ride on the canal through the whole of Amsterdam. Who is here and has the time and opportunity to explore the canals of Amsterdam with a canal. Man comes out to the open sea where the ocean cruisers of the big shipping companies stand. Here you should take some hours. Worth seeing ride :-)

Was a nice city tour with a very experienced captain who could really explain everything and much more ...

The night tour is very good as it allows you to see the illuminated city. Includes audio guide 2n several languages and a free drink. The captain also makes his contribution with some extra explanation.

The first thing to do as soon as we arrived to understand the city

Kinda pricey but good way to start the Amsterdam trip! Wish there's more explanation and with more passion!

We did the route at 9 at night, I think that by day, with light, it has to be better. The explanations were some in English (those to the captain) and the recorded ones you could choose the language. They give you a free drink, the rest you have to pay for. The tables are for 6 people, thank goodness there were three of us and no one else sat down because space is limited and being there for an hour and a half would be very uncomfortable.
For us it was a long time, it lasted an hour and a half. Even the captain was circling the boat for the last fifteen minutes, it didn't make sense. An hour would have been enough. And we found it quite expensive, 18 per person, and that we had a discount through the hotel ... surely there are others with the same characteristics much cheaper.

Not family friendly. Our 20 months old son was playing with his cars and got told off several time by the captain because he was making too much noise (not shouting, not crying, just a happy child playing). Totally unacceptable for a tourist tour to behave in this way. Would not recommend.

Corny but informative audio. Captain was funny and informative. 90 minute evening cruise well worth it. Highly recommended! PS, toilet onboard!

Good tour. Takes you through the canals and out into the Ij. The audio tour was only alright. The caption of the boat spoke 4 languages and did a lot of supplementary tour guiding in English, French, German and Dutch. 90 minutes to do the tour of Amsterdam!

I don't like how they treat , they gave me 6 o'clock time. I reached there at 5:50 , and no board or collegue was there to help us and there were couple of other people as well- the boat was standing right behind us- we got to know this when we enquired when somebody came, hence we missed the boat and after that they said you've to come next day. I was having flight next day so have to join in rush, which I don't like.

Your average low-budget boat tours. However, this one stood out for me, because the captain of our boat was extremely friendly and quite funny (but not overly so). The journey was calm and relaxing, especially because it was in the evening.
I would recommend this service if you have a tight budget, but want to have a canal tour anyway. If you are not very fond of buildings, then take the tour at dusk or in the dark.

The long ferry ride or canals is very enjoyable, shame about the high price.

Loved it...one of the best boats company in Amsterdam!

The captain was so rude ad aggressive to our kids. He keeps shoshing them and looking to them and us in bad looks. Even he came to the table and shout at them. They were taking normally, and they are under 4 years old what do he expected!?... it was the worst experience, all the journey we were in a stress!!!

Great for a cruise around Amsterdam, its longer than the cruises that start infront of Central Station. Definitely recommend it !

A very family friendly guided canal tour. Remember to bring your snacks and drinks for the afternoon cruise. The earbuds for the audio are quite hard so I'm glad I happen to be carrying my own.

Blue boat is one of many boat services available in Amstredam. Boating is a must to do thing in Amsterdam. They provide you a welcome drink and there is also a facility to park your baby stroller. They also provide a audio tour.

I recommend choosing Blue Boat Company for your tour om Amsterdam's canals.
If you have IAmsterdam card then you don't jave to pay any extra money.
One of their stops is quite close to Rijksmuseum.
They have different tours you can choose from,I went for 1.5 hour.

Pretty cool cruise if you want to have a quick overview of some main spots of the city.

I enjoyed it.
However, reagarding to the audio guide, it was not very interesting. In my opinion, it is not the best route to choose.

Tour was fun. Tip. It would also be more interesting if more were told about the area where we sailed. I thought that was not enough.
But staff were friendly and helpful because of the wheelchair.

Really good trip from Stadhouderskade around the city and back. Child friendly with an activity pack to do along the way.

A beautiful tour with beautiful stories from our skipper from Ede about the city now and earlier.

Even if a canal cruise in Amsterdam is one of them, it is less recommended. The seats are very uncomfortable and it's way too narrow. If you sit with your back to the direction of travel (i.e. 50%) you can hardly see anything without dislocating. The audio guide is not very informative and very truncated. In addition, this does not fit the current situation. Texts are played twice or the greeting text is played in the middle of the journey. The windshield wiper needs to be oiled as it squeaks loudly and the captain watched football on his cell phone.

However, since I haven't had any experience with other providers - the view is worth it.

Night ride finally at 20h. Fortunately because camera broke down and no great photo night ... home with a very cool captain and a snack possible for payment. Audioguide in French possible, included with the ticket.17 40

We were in Amsterdam during the week and went on a tour with the Blue Boat Company.
This was easily possible with a dog.
The lady at the front desk / cashier as well as the captain of the boat were very friendly.

Great tours, a little on the pricy side. Staff was incompetent and wouldn t accept our discount from the Eurail Pass, which costed us about 10 .

Very good guide around Ghent but pay attention in group when paying the tickets calculate your own price sometimes the amount is higher at the box office !!!!

This riverboat tour was highly recommended by a friend who lives in AMS. Although in the beginning I thought it would be very touristy , I was 100% wrong.. Awesome experience, very clean and well preserved boats, very kind and polite captain giving interesting info about the city.. Totally recommend it!

The price on the website is 13 ... But the paiment does not work... At the desk the price is 19,5 !! Not honnest at all !

I got a great experience with the open boat ride which how's to more narrow canals unlike the bigger covered boats. The instructor cum captain of the boat explained all the site importance in detail and was also patient enough to answer the queries..

Although the entry fee is slightly higher then the other river cruise services. Blue coat company cruise has well maintained and has facility of hearing narrations at 21 different languages. These also provide different types of cruises one to mention is hard rock cafe cruise. There you will be provided with drinks (limited).

Nice experience. Evening tour after 8:00 p.m. highly recommended

You might think that wintertime is not the best moment to enjoy a boat trip in Amsterdam and, well, it can be kind of true, but we did enjoy it a lot. Boats are very comfortable, well heated and there is an audioguide available in almost ANY language. Friendly and helpful staff.
It is included in the "I Amsterdam card"!

We recommend! You see a lot of great things with audio explanation. Be there early on.
