Awesome place and awesome food I always try to go here when I'm in the area. FORGET any other sub place they make the best sandwiches here!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately have to write 1-star review after last night. I have been a customer of the Hoboken Blimpies for a few years now. If this review was based on food, it would rated 4-star. The thumman's meat/portions/pricing have always been good. However, the one issue we have had with this restaurant in the AC is always on very cold temperatures, and the workers continued refusal to adjust the temperature. Now, I am not a 100 lb female, but a 240 lb male. So it takes a lot for my body to say it is cold. Last night we entered Blimpies, as we frequently do after our co-ed softball games, and it was abnormally frigid, even for this restaurant. We requested the temperature be raised, and this is where the rudeness begins. The response from the employees was far from welcoming. One employee in particular, Luis, responded by suggesting we should seek alternative restaurants or "whatever will stop us from complaining." I do not feel that we were being out of line, but that this was a response from an employee that does not give two hoots about customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, the treatment we received last night will result in that being our final visit to this restaurant.

The First and Original Blimpie ! They make the sandwiches like they made them in 1965. They make Great Sandwiches.

Waited almost an hour and 30 mins for my order...called twice to find out the status of my order and they told me the same thing "it should be there soon" Hoboken is a square mile it doesn't take long to get from one side of the town to the other. And whoever was in charge today and answered the phone was very rude. This is the last time I order from this place and I've been ordering from here for over ten years now. Sad!

great sandwiches, wish there were still more locations around

I've been going to this Blimpies for a while now and it's pretty ok. Nothing that really stands out other than its located in the same town as the first ever Blimpies. The sandwiches are some of the best around. I would say come by this location if you are eve in the mood for one.

This is the first Blimpies so it does not have the franchise feel to it. Not a bad place to get a a sandwich.

Amazing fresh bread with small business customer service. I didn't know it was an original until I saw other reviews, and I totally believe it. No big chain business feel here.

First of All, I love this place. Don't read the negative reviews and judge the restaurant on that. Every time I come here, I always order the Blimpie Best. It's easily the best sandwich in town!

They're changing the name of this place, but nothing else will change. Consistently good sandwiches. Iconic place - first Blimpies!
