My partner and I wanted to get a BLG mortgage. After sending the documents we first received a neat response after three days. But when we read the e-mail, we were shocked by the amount of documents they still requested. But we went after it, arranged this within a day. This then sent back and lasted 5 days. She asked again pieces that they already had, but they were also pieces that were nonsensical. We were kept on the line for 2 weeks. She just didn't want to give a mortgage. But then say it instead of leaving us in uncertainty.

We were on the phone for hours and had a discussion about why we should get a mortgage. But they were not neat. And they could not argue their opinion.

Also written a very nice letter, why we should get a mortgage. With an email back, no we want those documents ....

We then went to their competitor SNS and we've got a mortgage with less pieces within two days. So it is possible!

We are not happy with BLG and their service

I have always received good business and personal help from BLG employees. Every question was answered adequately, filing declarations processed quickly and very friendly staff on the phone. Surprise me with the negative reactions I read ... I give BLG a big 9 in terms of customer friendliness and service.

Very slowly after a 12-day binding agreement has been signed, you will return to the top of the stack until it is processed and wait at least another 2 weeks.
When you call you do not get info and they say but you have to go to your advisor.

It is normal that you want your BLG bill to be paid out upon retirement. Just because it can already be done costs 250. The AFM considers this a strange matter. After a back-and-forth conversation you will have a serious hangover. Very unprofessional very unfriendly very ignorant.

Get out of here as soon as possible, and that's what we're going to do.

We have been a customer at BLG Wonen for years, at first I never had direct contact with it and everything went through an intermediary. After a number of questions about repayments and extra repayments, I was very neat and well attended by the BLG employees. Very nice contact and decisive. The online environment of BLG is a bit old-fashioned but does a fine, clear overview of the state of affairs and possibilities to switch extra repayments on and off.

BLG worked with the advisors of the infamous Capital Vision in Hengelo (later Dutchlife). Cost me thousands of euros extra because BLG did not want to solve the gross mistake as a result of the malpractices of Capital Vision and referred me again to the same shady advisers and thus allowed me to pay double commission from me.

Pay attention! Interim repayment does not just entitle you to a lower rate group / interest. It comes down to the appraisal of the home. So to achieve, for example, a 0.1% interest benefit, you spend +/- 500 on an appraisal report which evaporates the benefit. There are banks that handle this more proactively and better, or even process it fully automatically. Missed opportunity!

We have been clients at BLG for many years, and have always been helped to the full satisfaction of our customers. Too bad there are people who have experienced annoying things. We are therefore not and remain with BLG.

Worthless, unhelpful, annoying company that consta...

Worthless, unhelpful, annoying company that constantly thwarts things. All the time they point to the advisor who points back to BLG so that nothing gets further. Because they have been idle for so long, data is suddenly outdated and everything starts all over again. NEVER start with BLG, if necessary pay more interest with another mortgage where you are simply helped.

Interest rate reduction applied for and that took almost 5 months. They asked for something different every time you thought it was round. At first no valuation needed then again then again and then again. Eventually when it was finally done you understand it, although the interest had grown again.
Most mortgage lenders do not require a valuation if your mortgage amount is 60% lower if the WOZ value. With blg and email not answered on inquiry.

A customer of BLG for more than ten years. Recently had regular contact regarding extension of the fixed-rate period. I was very well and neatly helped. Clear and adequate communication, good explanation, friendly staff who never gave the impression in the telephone contacts to be rushed, but took the time to discuss everything well. Also quick responses to questions by email.

A mortgage has been applied for a customer of our office. Unfortunately we had to wait for some additional documents for mortgage applications. But with the good efforts of the employees of the BLG, we managed to get the documents to the notary in time. Super cool. Thank you to all employees who helped us with this file for your efforts. The result is there! A super happy customer and that's what we do it for!

Nothing goes by itself with this organization. You have to go everywhere, deal with you impersonal and immediately punish you if something once goes wrong by mistake (eg depreciation of their laundry later than usual, so that the amount was not completely correct on my account and the depreciation went wrong ). Then they said (they say) by letter (seriously? Why not an email?) But I did not receive it. A month later I received a fine over it. I have to be understanding then, but they can make a mess? If you pay off more mortgage, no one will help you to apply the lower interest to which you are entitled. You also have to put a lot of energy into this. The best to reach by phone and then treat you reasonably well, hence the 2 stars. But it is really not up to date how they manage their affairs. It's just below par. Regret that I chose this company. Anyway, you are quite stuck with such a mortgage :-(

I am so very happy that a colleague pointed out to me that I live at BLG.
Thanks to the tireless efforts and perseverance of Mr van Meggelen in Alkmaar, the house is in my name, 5 years after the divorce.
Heart for the people.
