The ER doctor and nurse were very helpful and gave great care for my special needs son. However, the COVID policy used in the hospital was a great hindrance to my son s care. My ex husband and I are both vaccinated adults and we are guardians for our adult son who cannot speak for himself (his disability requires constant monitoring of fluids, diet, medication, and toileting care). The hospital in the past allowed us to do our job as guardians while being in the same room for our son. This time Blessing seemed to expend more effort in trying to police one person in the room at a time (which did not allow us to both be present for doctor visits and medical care decisions) than they did creating a plan of action to keep our son s hospital stay as short as possible. I believe decisions should be made based on what is best for the individual patient when that care does not infringe on the care of any other patient.

My recent stay at Blessing Hosp went relatively smooth with the exception that my treating doctor does not practice at this hospital, which Kinda defeats the purpose of being admitted into a hospital. I have suffered from Crohn s disease for 45 years and to find out that my G.I. isn t allowed to treat me if I m in that hospital is kind of a bummer. But aside from that I gave them four stars

Thank you very much for the care, concern, and competence from everyone on the care team who helped me battle pneumonia. Everyone was willing to answer my questions, nobody seemed rushed or anxious to be on to something else until we both felt comfortable with explanations, and I credit the nurturing attitude of the entire team with helping the healing along with the medical treatments. Thank you, very much

The Doctor (T. Smith), Anesthesiologist, Nurses, and support staff were all professional and very capable. My surgery was successful.

I would like to point out one RN's in particular. Her name is Blair Powell.
Most of the nurses were more "task at hand", Blair showed much more kindness and compassion for me and my situation. When there was a secondary issue after my surgery she seemed to be on my side....told me to take it one day at a time and things will be alright. She made my stay much easier to deal with.

The care I received during my ER department visit was very professional and personable with strong communication both in listening and explaination.
Great teamwork and coordination between all staff - registration, CNA, NP, specialty techs, RN, Doctor.

I had cervical spine surgery at Blessing Hospital. Everyone I met was very kind. Everyone seem to be very confident of the job they were doing. I was given top notch care. I have been a neurologist for over 25 years and I think I have a unique perspective. I have been a chief of staff, and a Stroke Center Director - I know the challenges of trying to provide quality care. When it comes right down to it, it is the trust amongst all the coworkers that really powers the quality. Blessing Hospital hit a home run for me.

Your visitation policy is BS!!! My 10 year old nephew couldn t go visit his grandpa because he isn t at least 18 years old???? Are you kidding me??? Do you get joy from this power trip? Simply amazing to me what you ve done to families in their time of need. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Plus leaving an ID at the counter to go see our family? No words to describe that. I hope the decision makers read this review although I m sure they won t
