We only dropped in for a drink but it was very pleasant on the deck and drinks and service good. Was a little awkward getting in since we were on a hiking trail and saw one part of the restaurant - had just closed at 2 - no signage - but were told the other side would open at 3. Confusing way to get to the other side - again signage would have been good. But we made it back to our car and over to the right spot.
Beautiful property with breath taking ocean front views. Only wish there was a cover over the balcony to help stay dry when storm watching in the rain. - Went over NYE 2021

Room was clean, modern and spacious with an amazing ocean view. Beach is very accessible! Restaurant patio had great service and food was really good.
Only comment would be the EV charging station was taken the entire 4 days we were there. Unfortunately, there s no time limit. Not their fault! But would be nice if they added another 2-3 for their EV guests or regulated the time a guest can park there.
Front desk was kind enough to direct us to the community centre just one block down with 2 FLO charging stations

The ocean view was absolutely stunning! The room was lovely. Customer service was very good. The restaurant needs to step up to West Coast excellence for that 5th star. It was kind of on par with Earl's, decent but nothing exciting.
Marco was absolutely amazing from start to finish, what a true professional and expert in his field. The resort exceeded expectations and I cannot wait to go back. Colleen hosted a small function for us with her amazing team, I must say once again out of this world service. If you are looking for a majestic and tranquil place to go, look no further. Enjoy your stay as you will be already planning when you can go back!
Absolutely loved it. I slept with the door open so I could hear the waves. The food was amazing and the bathtub was relaxing
We stayed in a One Bedroom Trail Cabin Suite for four nights at Black Rock Oceanfront Resort Feb. 2021. Friendly, attentive staff and truly pet friendly. Very spacious suite with a great view. Good kitchen with large fridge, could easily hunker down for multiple days of storm watching. Only issue was Covid-19 has lowered housekeeping standards, our floors were getting a little chunky by the end of day two. I would return and recommend.
The view was amazing just as good or even better then the pictures. The staff was great very friendly and welcoming. They had fully adapted to covid-19 restrictions and put in place a system that works. The room was very clean and a great size. The patio was large. Nothing bad to say.
MARCO.... you do nothing short of exceed expectations. If you are looking for an absolutely wonderful getaway, you have found paradise. Just want to take a second to say the customer service is out of this world and the premises is heavenly. Go enjoy yourself and thank me later!
Beautiful location and good food at the restaurant, but the staff were very unprofessional and the rooms were dirty. The front desk staff (Jose and Blue) were rude bordering on insulting when we had an issue and housekeeping mistook our room for a vacated room and woke us up several hours before check out when they tried to get into our room. Also, our room's floor was not clean when we arrived, and our friend's floor was so dirty in the room next to ours that housekeeping had to come in the evening after they checked in to vacuum again. Absolutely not worth the prices they charge during a pandemic for dirty floors and rude/unprofessional employees. Management needs to improve customer service and quality control.
