I have read a lot of these reviews and I think that we must be talking about two different companies when speaking about "competitive rates".
I wanted to make my initial Bitcoin purchase of $100 for a grandson's birthday.
On their screen at the purchase site it mentions a $3.00 service fee. Great, Not bad at all,3% of your purchase price.
Not so fast!!!! After making my purchase in cash, I get a receipt stating that I purchased $65 worth of Bitcoin!!!!,not $97 like I thought.(my $100 minus their $3.00 fee).
When I called the number on the receipt, I spoke with an Indian gentleman whose English was very difficult to understand. The best that I could get from him was that the $65 of Bitcoin that I received was the amount left over from my $100 after Bitcoin Depot's fees were deducted.
I am going to chalk this up as a learning experience, and will be doing a lot more research in the future to avoid ripoffs like this.
