Avoid at all costs. We were promised all the features we wanted could be implemented and sold dreams. Mid way, we were told many of those features we requested wouldn't be possible to incorporate onto the site! They clearly knew about this at the start given that they make sites all the time, which proved all they wanted was money. Key features we wanted (and the reason why we didn't build the site ourselves) were completed in such a poor and unprofessional manner, for example video area under our product page. During completion they said shopify doesn't allow for this which is complete rubbish as other shopify sites have this. Unfortunately they are quick to take your money and defensive/unhelpful when it comes to addressing issues. The design elements were quite poor too - we really felt we were given poor designers - we literally had to explain exactly how we wanted the design as opposed to them making creative suggestions we could not have come up with ourselves. They give you a very short period to sign off and once you have they are not there to help at all unless you pay more sums of ridiculous money, which is extremely unfair, as many bugs and issues on THEIR side can only be picked up on after a few weeks of trading. We would have been better off hiring an independent freelancer who values customers!!

Very good, friendly and fast service, especially if you are on priority support like we were. Lauren was a super account executive and she is 5 stars!! Unfortunately as a small business, cost was an issue and we could no longer continue. If you need web support and have a marketing budget - go for it! I Recommend Eastside Co! They wouldn't respond to my messages. I emailed them multiple times. Even if they weren't interested in doing work for us, they could have sent an email saying so. I consider that very disrespectful and unprofessional. If we have larger projects in the future, we will be sure not to use Eastside Co.

I have to disagree with the previous comment made ...

I have to disagree with the previous comment made by the person who said they did not respond to emails and other stuff. It's all about approaching people in the right way and being respectful. No human is perfect and everyone has flaws but based on my current relationship with this company I would have to say that Eastside co does deliver and does reply to emails in a timely manner. I would also like to add that as a director myself that projects were fulfilled on time and adjustments were acknowledged and implemented within a reasonable time.

Probably the worst company I have had to work with over the last 4 years of being self employed. A few good people but never really did what they said and now refusing to return an already agreed refund.
Costing people jobs before Christmas and don't even have the decency to reply to emails or phone calls.

I have to agree with Craig. This is a dishonest company and I wouldn t recommend anyone to do business with them. There are far better Shopify agencies knocking around - they make websites.

Can I just say in response to South West Systems, why does a customer have to approach a company for a refund in the right way and being respectful . Eastside co shouldn t be holding someone else s money because they thought the customer was being rude. That s just evidence of the immaturity of this business! (Sounds like Eastside co has a pal writing a review in their defence for them if you ask me....!)
