I'm not sure what to make of my interview with them. They were very nice and friendly, and showed me the office, around the staff rooms---introduced me to staff. Then the very next day they send me a rejection email...which is extremely weird, I've never had a potential employer send a rejection email the very next day. Also the staff was very homogeneous, there was absolutely no diversity and I didn't see a single man or woman of color. I get this is a production/casting agency but THEY"RE BASED IN NEW YORK! New york is very diverse and the fact that they haven't hired a single person of color on staff even as a PA is astounding to me. Receptionist work is different than actually being on a team. I'm disappointed but also glad I dodged a white bullet.
