Well designed, good food and very friendly servers. Very friendly yet bar atmosphere. Our table ordered the chicken nuggs which is a good serving with solid in house made sauces, the mac and cheese steak, and the chicken and waffles. No complaints about any of the food! All very good.

The place is a tiny bar/restaurant with funny/interesting art all over the walls and ceiling. It has good service and awesome clams. It also has great pub food. The prices are fine. Craft beers on tap had a good selection and I really enjoyed the wheat beer that I had. My friends and I stopped by after a mud run in Harrisonburg and really enjoyed it. The one star off was because the table and bathroom seemed dirty.

Had brunch here and the food was great. I got a breakfast sandwich and it was the perfect size and delicious. We also got some sticky nugs which I would highly recommend. Good food overall!

The place was packed but the staff and locals were friendly and accommodating. Food was good, service was great, especially for how busy they were, and the Christmas decorations were fantastic.

If I could give them less than 1 star, I would. Basically, my friends and I went there for a bachelorette party, and the bouncers turned us away and made us stand on the street for a while. Eventually we got in, but we weren't treated any better once we got inside. It was loud and crowded. The bar tenders were rude, and our waitress spent most of the night outside flirting with the bouncer. I really hated my time there.

Got quetioned my ID after I had been served drinks. Bartender told me he would ha e to keep my ID and call the cops if he checked it again, I let him do so and he did neither after I insisted to do so. Extremely frustrating because I honestly love this place.

Flies everywhere! Dirty floors and sticky tables. Don't order the fish and chips. Pretty bad when you aren't sure that it is fish.
Went for lunch. Got the 1/2 pound burger. It was delicious. Seating was difficult during lunch rush. Tables are small, but no problem. The servers were great and helpful.

Cool little pub, I had the redneck nachos and they were awesome! With it being a college town the view and atmosphere isn t bad at all. They also have a lot of local brews which is awesome also. The coolest part of the place is the restrooms the urinal and sink are old kegs which I ve never seen done before. Highly recommend!

Local favorite. BAR FOOD galore. Try the sticky nugs, they are known for these. Served in a take out Chinese box these little guys will not disappoint. The loaded tots are also a great option.

Great traditional bar food stop. Straight out of a Triple D kind of find. Found this place as we visited JMU and read about their "Nuggs" and had to give it a try. My daughter and I had the sweet chili Nuggs and these chicken bites were awesome with great flavor and size. Served in a Chinese takeout container made it unique and easy to take our left overs. Also had to try the Sunday special - Fried Chicken with Mac and Cheese, and Coleslaw. Excellent taste and crispy batter. My daughter had the sliders - burger and pulled pork and onion rings, name I forget but she enjoyed those also. Finished with the Donut with peanut butter and marshmallow, name may have been something Smore or Girl Scout, which was also good. Beers and food were reasonably priced and I will be back.

Awesome experience! Heard these were the best wings in Harrisonburg, and they were awesome. Can't split the flavors of a dozen however. Sauces were all really nicely done, and blue cheese was really tasty. Our waiter was fantastic. Actually carried on a conversation with us throughout our visit. Highly recommended!
Billy Jack's is a great fun spot for beer and quick food and burgers. It's always a bit crowded and loud so I wouldn't call it a great date spot. They have a great weekday happy hour from 4-7. Other than beer and drinks, they have a full bar as well, they are known for "sticky nuggs" you must give them a try or one of their other boxed snacks, sticky shrimp is my favorite. They even have a beer club where you can earn free swag!

Other than a little warm in the joint, we enjoyed everything we ordered. This was a stop on the way up I81. The college town was having a PRIDE festival and was packed for middle of the summer break. Company and service was wonderful. Must get the fried Mac and cheese, chicken and waffles and Greg Brady sliders
Nice college town bar, but was disappointed to find out it was a sister restaurant to the Jack Brown's establishment literally next door. Essentially a Jack Brown's, but food not as good. I had the mushroom and Swiss burger and left most of it untouched. Saw others enjoying their wings and beverages so there may be something to that, but I won't be back.

Giving it a 5 NOT because it's a five star restaurant (it's a dark college grill with a beer bar in the middle) but because it has great service and awesome pub food especially the burgers with BJ sauce. Prices are great. Craft beers on tab seem to vary but enough to make everyone happy. Great stop if visiting someone at JMU.

I was in the area for a wedding and ended up coming here twice because of how reasonable the cost of food was and more importantly how good it all was. Brunch specials are fantastic. 9 dollar carafe of mimosa says it all! I made my own burger and despite it being a tad more expensive than other items it was well worth it. Also, definitely needed more than 1 napkin. Worth it.
Awesome food; awesome service!! Everything we had was great for Sunday brunch! Shaunna took care of us and the chicken and waffles benedict were amazing! Doughnuts were equally wonderful! Place was packed and service was extremely quick!! Can't wait to be back in town to eat here again!
