If you have had DUI, Billingsley will not approve you to live at one of their residences'. I am not here to argue the ridiculous policy, that's their business. There is a reason Sloane Street(one of their properties) is 22% occupied bc they won't let the despicable folks who committed murder, I mean a DUI, into their residences'. BTW, the reason this company is not 1 star is bc 3 of their employees gave it a 5 star rating. A DUI is one thing, but I would absolutely hate to witness what else this company has in store if you ever do get approved at a Billingsley property.

I worked for Billingsley for a little over a year ...

I worked for Billingsley for a little over a year and loved it up until the point it was time for me to leave. The company seemingly cultivated a family like culture who loved and appreciated their employees. I was one of their top employees at one of their larger developments (I ve been celebrated 3 times over for my accomplishments), never received negative feed back from my clients and also was emailed pesonally by the VP because of my strengths and leadership qualities at the property. This industry will always have its flaws- as I ve seen over the last 4 years and worked in 3 different states (military family). I put in my notice to resign and that s when everything went down hill. From the acceptance of my resignation, to the way HR (who I thought was in place to be an employee liaison ) spoke to me over speaker phone, to my job being threatened if I didn t behave a certain way (never heard of all the stipulations until it was time for me to leave), being told 3 different times by management that they would accept my notice and when I asked for clarifications on the vague terms (which seemed more like threats) they were giving me in order to complete my notice; the acceptance was changed/shortened and resulted in me being asked for my keys and to leave immediately. It felt like it was full retaliation for wanting to speak my peace, get a clear/concise understanding of the terms of resignation acceptance and not to mention the blatant disregard for privacy after my departure. My character has been defamed and my name has been brought up in SEVERAL conversations between management and current employees. I will add that I ve been doing this, leasing, a long time- I was also a a property manager and I have NEVER experienced treatment the way that Billingsley treated me on 11/21/18. I have reached out several times to the company s owner and also the VP of their multi family division. With all of that being said.. I wouldn t suggest working here. If you choose to seek employment here: keep written records/accounts of everything, make sure you keep your relationship with your managers at a work base level (My direct supervisor makes all of her team feel like they can trust her by gossiping with them and convincing you that she has your back), also make sure that you have someone to be your liaison in every meeting (they had a witness in our meeting to let me know they were accepting my resignation but then when everything went left she told me that she was supporting Nikkia s decision- I thought the witness was there to be neutral). As stated above, Billingsley seemed to be a great company but when it came time for me to transition- it became a complete and utter nightmare!!! Might I add all of this happened the day before thanksgiving while I was grieving a recent death in the family. Yep- super life enhancing company.

Yeah, it has SOME flashy things but they're not worth the lousy customer service. They messed up on billing us correctly on our rent and we brought it to their attention, now they are charging us late fees for their mistake! Worst experience with customer service.

I went into the corporate office located at 1722 Routh Street, Suite 118 Dallas, Texas 75201 on 2/26/2019 @ 1:50 the assistant property manager Allison McCook was extremely rude and she looked at me the whole time with disgust on her face. I came in to report something to the corporate office. As well as to see who I would need to get in contact with. I wasn t able to get a sentence in she rolled her eyes the entire time. She told security to stand next to me as well as if I were a threat to her. I have been harassed as well as discriminated against. This has taken a a mental as well as a stress ful toll on me. I have been trying to get in contact with billingsley for the past 3 months. I didn t expect walking into the office begin treated that way. She belittled me in every way possible
