We left after 50min of waiting after he said he would be back in a couple minutes.

I rented a paddle board from Bill! The price to rent the SUP was a great price! He was very nice and helpful! Thank you, Bill! We had a blast paddling the Siltcoos River!

Nice owner who gave us some advice regarding the sandboards, and the rental was really cheap compared to other shops! Totally recommended!

I had a fantastic experience renting paddle boards and kayaks from Bill s Rentals! The boards were really good quality and they dropped them off and picked them up with no charge. Whenever I m in Florence again I will definitely rent from him. Highly recommend!

I do not recommend doing business with this company and would prefer to leave no stars. I made arrangements a month ago to rent 63 boards for a student field trip. I made a similar arrangement last year and had a fine experience. This year was completely different. The day before the trip Bill wanted to change the agreement and claimed he actually did not have an adequate number of boards -- completely contradicting what was told me when we first made the arrangement. He cancelled, leaving us in the lurch. Sand Master's came through last minute. I highly recommend Sand Master's if you are in need of sand board equipment.

Excellent experience renting paddle boards and kayaks. He delivers to the two lakes near honeyman campground.

This review is part of a series of reviews I am doing regarding my weeklong vacation spent in Florence, Oregon.
We visited this location on 7-5-17. The prices were very reasonable and the owner, Bill, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He recommended paddle boarding Lake Woahink and it was the perfect location. The day was overcast but there was little wind. It felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves! Bill delivered and picked up the rentals when we were done. My family did a lot of activities while in Florence but this had to be the best fun to cost ratio. I highly recommend.

The rates were good. He was flexible to our needs. He transported our boat to the lake and back. No deposit was required. But his maths wasn't the yellow of the egg.

It's difficult to give this place even one star. I have never given any business lower than 3 stars. I brought my 14 year old son, his friend and three professional soccer players we were hosting from Spain to the dunes to experience sand boarding. We stopped in at Bill's to rent two boards. The man who was at the counter explained that we would need to pay a deposit and take care with the boards. We agreed, of course. While we were at the counter, the boys and soccer players were laughing and joking and a couple of them went to the parking lot and were juggling a soccer ball. The man at the counter said we had to be sure not to return the boards wet. We agreed. And then said that he was rethinking renting the boards to us and then told us that he wouldn't. We were shocked! One young man in our party asked why, 'because we were loud?' He yelled at him to 'get out of his face!' even though he was standing many feet away from the counter. We were wondering if it was because some of the soccer players were speaking Spanish. We ended up going across the street and rented the boards from the very polite woman there. This experience was completely upsetting and embarrassing when I am trying to show our international guests our beautiful country. Avoid Bill's at all costs!

Went there for 2 boards. Be back at six I need to go somewhere lost track of time a bit and were 10 mins late, but the moment we pulled up he chased us in and started yelling, screaming curse words in front of the kids. Yea I know we were late but he cussed a ton. 0/10 not professional, also felt somewhat schemed due to the fact that he stalked us back to the store.

Awful experience. Terrible customer service. I brought my family and friends from Spain to experience Florence and while the kids were playing with the soccer ball "Bill" told us to leave and yelled at us and said he wouldn't let kids have his boards because they appeared to be up to no good.... the kids were playing with a soccer ball. DONT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE. I've never been so disrespected in my life.

We have used Bill s rentals for four years and have had no issues. If you are expecting a resort style rental service where they bend over backwards for you, then don t complain and shop somewhere else. Otherwise you won t have any issues renting from here.

This place should not be in business. They only take cash "I wonder why??" AND require a cash deposit that you may or may not get back. The owner used angry foul language even in front of our kids! We actually felt threatened. Something is terrible wrong with that guy. We will never rent from this place again

My wife went by to rent a sandboard and the owner was rude and refused to rent to us. We do not understand why. My wife was very nice, we have no problem paying. Go elsewhere for better service.

Bill was great! Super friendly and easy to work with. We had our kayak rented and loaded in 5 minutes, his rates are the best in town!
