We were hoping to have a better experience, but it wasn t in the cards for us this past trip.

We booked a RV site months in advance. Informing the front desk we had a 40 5th wheel, we arrived to find they stuffed us into a very small site.

I did try to call the front office, but I was told there weren t any spots available large enough for us.

I squeezed in and made it work, but after walking (key word here) the entire place, I believe the owners clearly keep the nice sites for the ever growing seasonal people. I didn t see many sites that would fit any rig over 30

We should have brought our golf cart. I had messaged the staff a few weeks ago and they told me no outside golf carts, but we can rent one when we arrive (1st come, 1st Serve)

When we arrived, we were told there were no rental carts left. How can you not allow personal golf carts but not have enough rentals.

We had to walk everywhere. Not to sound lazy, but the place is big.

When the campers in the site next to us left, we followed them to the office when they returned their golf cart, only to be told by the staff that the golf cart was reserved.... I guess it isn t 1st come, 1st serve.

Don t think we will give this place another try. It s a shame as we live close and would like a place to camp more often that s close to home.

Staff was friendly. We have an RV and stayed on the lake so our site looked like the biggest and secluded so we were happy. Not too noisy all the kids were riding their bikes together from other cabins real cute. Nobody was too noisy. Lake was OK pool was good not too crowded while we were there. My kids were disappointed the zipline was closed for the week and for the price we paid we were too. At first they said check back tomorrow and then when we went back she said check back again and then the next day she told us they weren't opening it because the book wasn't there to schedule? Then the lifeguard told us all the staff left back to school for the season and didn't have many people on staff the time we went (week of august 13th). So we were pretty disappointed they didn't give a straight answer amd they probably knew it wasn't opening. Also why was mini gold not included in price? We went to Avalon beach 2 days tho and loved it and cape may zoo!

This campground would be much better if each camp site wasn't packed in so tightly. There is no space, no privacy, and the noice level is just not relaxing. The pool is much too small for such a large amount of people. For the price that we paid, we had to pay for extras like mini golf; this is something that other good campgrounds include in the price of a site. It's a silly charge that left a bad taste in my mouth... I loved the lake. It was the most pleasant part of the whole trip... From the outside and the website the campground seems like a top notch place but it doesn't live up to its own boasting.

It s a nice campground, very friendly people and the staff was very nice and It s very clean. My only issue was I wish I knew that none of the amenities were up and running or else I would have waited. Paying full price, I would have expected all the amenities they had to offer! When I called to ask, the person on the phone said they weren t sure when they were opening the amenities, but then when we got there a day later, we were told by several others that they would be opening the amenities this week! Felt a little betrayed by this because obviously they knew they were opening the following week, but I still gave 4 stars because it s not the fault of everyone who works there, just the person who answered the phone.

came here from another TRUE RV resort and already disappointed
althoughg we booked a premium lake side.
its not a lake its a dirty pond. our site is surrounded by tall grass.
my electeic connection has burn marks on it and keep sizzling when I connected my surge protector to the point it burnt my plug.
I will updating my review. anx adding to it. we were ready to leave but we know we will get no refund .
its a shame that when we called we were told everything is open. when we arrived we ade told that the zip line and the rope course are closed.. we promised the kids all that .. and that was the reason we came here

Spent a few nights camping in our camper at the end of August. South jersey shore campground with potential. Expect sandy sites, flies and Mosquitoes but that s unavoidable at any campground down there. One night we had to contend with 4 overly comfortable skunks for two nights. Unfortunately the cons outweighed the pros this trip. Not what I expected from a Sun RV resort.

Pros:
1. decent sized sites
2. Somewhat of a natural separation between sites
3. Nice amenities, beach/lake was great
4. Sites are very shady

Cons:
1. Majority of the staff are rude, except the younger kids and one night time patrolman
2. Trash bags from last person left on our sites
3. Sites were not turned over well between reservations: obvious litter and mid calf high grass.
4. Staff asked to fix grass issues but was told they ll see what they can do but never showed
5. Natural barriers and other foliage around camp ground were unkept
6. Trash and items left throughout campground, staff did not pick up. Old sock and towel sat along beach fence for our entire stay gross.
7. Life guard was more of a life monitor as he wore his earbuds and played on his phone most of the time.

This is such a nice campground. We are keeping our trailer here. There are many activities and many fun things to do for kids. I would love to come here again. I will say the bathrooms are dirty, and that the bugs are obnoxious. But nothing you can do about the bugs. But great campground
