Go here for the beer only!!! 3x now I have been let down by the food. Most recently I ordered the salmon and it showed up smelling like rotting fish. I've never had a good experience both the food.

On top of that the service was not to expectations. We had to seat ourselves and the poor server was clearly new doing his best to keep up with the lunch service. Definitely could have used some guidance and support.

If you enjoy craft beer this is the place to be. Definitely a good fit for a few pints and an Appy. Just don't expect top knotch food and be cautious on your order.

As mentioned this is not a review based on 1 visit, the experience has been consistent all 3 times.

Big Ridge is always good ... Good drinks, good food, and good service. I don't think I've ever been disappointed.

The outside was kind of strange - boxy and cookie-cutter-like but the inside was a very pleasant surprise! Beautiful, unique and comfortable decor. There are two areas - a bar area and a restaurant area. We had a late lunch so the restaurant wasn't very busy. Lucas, our server, was very helpful. Made suggestions and answered our questions about the menu. He was attentive and friendly. The food was tasty and nicely presented.
I cannot eat wheat so they served my chicken burger on a bed of shredded lettuce. The chicken was moist and delicious. This was our first time here but we'll be back for sure!

Great place and atmosphere! Strange for a brew pub to have a menu so heavily slanted to Asian cuisine, but food is awesome!

personal experience wasn t very good. food came out literally 3 mins after we ordered it. burger was 100% frozen and not fresh, and was probably sitting under a hot lamp for a while. this one guy who works here literally spent 20 mins reorganizing and cleaning 3 tables. he looked high as hell and had his underwear sticking out.

Great variety on the menu, some items from the "Asian Kitchen" menu lacking flavour but overall a good place to grab a bite to eat or indulge in some bevies.

Went for a birthday event and staff was very attentive... Didn't really like the meatloaf...

Definitely go to again! I had the 152 Pizza. Amazing flavors! We had the garlic fries and they were fantastic! Service was decidedly on part.woth the food. Go her for food and beer too.

Reducing this to a 4-star. While I still frequent the place, there are some menu items that are a bit underwhelming.

Typical pub food and only beers on tap are their own house beers.

Didn't have any food but the service was good and beers were cold. Atmosphere was very lively as well

July 11 2016. Beware of worms or some type of larvae in the draft or glasses!
I've been here many times before. Usually a pretty good experience. Today my friend and I ordered 2 draft beers. When I noticed specks in my beer and larger specs in his we removed one of the specks. It was a worm or larva of some sort! When we examined his beer more closely there were other larvae moving at the top of the glass. We ordered a bottled beer and left. We advised staff of our concerns as well.

Get the spicy green beans. They are killer! Also sign your receipt with Surrey Gymnastics. Its a fundraiser for my club!

Attentive service and lively community atmosphere brings in a new group of patron's each time that I decide to eat here. Great food and choice of craft beer and wine.

This restaurant is creative and dynamic. No complains from the group. The brew master sure does a great job and probably doesn't hear that enough. I sure liked last months blends. Thanks for keeping your pub standards high ....

Amazing wings that have a buttermilk batter. Delicious beers. They got rid of their nachos which sucks. Every brew pub restaurant should have nachos. The staff are wonderful.

Friend and I ordered chicken chow mein with shiitaki mushrooms. There were about five tiny pieces of chicken and mushrooms. We were both very disappointed. We met for lunch and we had hard time to find a parking space. We are definitely not going back. I am giving it one star only because if I leave it blank, it won't let me post it.

Thank you to Lucas for his EXCEPTIONAL service last night. Four of us swung by BR on our way home from the movies and we were so delighted by Lucas' attentiveness, knowledge, and service. It was the best service we've had in a long time and we eat out a fair amount. He made Big Ridge stand out so we'll be back! Those cauliflower tacos were delicious. 5 stars and a high five to Lucas. Give that guy a beer.

Decent food. The beer is pretty tasty. Service has been hit or miss. After we had settled our bill we hung out and chatted for a while because it was quiet.

The positive: they have a pool table which is a bit unique for a Brewpub and restaurant. Their location is also pretty good.

The negative: When we went to leave a jacked up bartender with lots of tattoos and a shaved head confronted us in a brisk manner asking if we had paid our bill. The pub side of this place wasn't that busy so all he had to do is ask our server if we'd settled with her instead he acted as though we were dining and dashing. That in my opinion is an example of sloppy service. He could have asked his coworker a question or checked the point of sale computer instead he accused us of running out on our bill. Sloppy & rude.

I'm sure they have had their share of surrey's finest dashing out on their bills but when you are not organized enough to know whether or not people have paid you should put a little effort in figure that out before you turn off more customers.

I went on a Sunday and they had this deal where any pizza would be $11 instead of the original price. This deal is every Sunday and they have some ore unique deals for each day if the week. Their beer was good to. There is a lot of variety and selection for alcohol.

The food was very good and our server Nicole was wonderful, especially when we asked for suggestions on the menu!

Great food, reasonable prices! Not like your typical chain pubs/restaurants. Definitely worth coming here. Crispy tofu is great, and they have some fantastic Asian dishes!

Management has social issues . Staff is sloppy Beer is warm ..no notchoes because they say cheese is to expensive ..terrible atmosphere

This place has the biggest portion of Chicken Chow Mein I've ever had ! I get it everytime

Went here on Friday night for a friends b-day as a group of 24. My wife and I waited at least 20 minutes for service and managed to order only 2 drinks over a two hour period. I had to ask for a menu and waited a half hour with no further service before my wife lost her patience and talked to the manager. Everyone in our party spoke of the poor service after we left. Two of our party work as servers elsewhere and pointed out a few major issues. 1- serving trays don't seem to exist here, all servers carried only one or two (or none) glasses at a time. 2- we watched servers taking drink orders one person at a time, returning with the one beverage, then moving on to the next individual. Have they not been trained to remember multiple orders? 3- for the amount of workers walking around with empty hands, nothing was getting accomplished (used food dishes, empty glasses, food orders, drinks). After a night of terrible service they have the audacity to slam an 18% gratuity on the bill. Don't waste your time here, period.

Good selection of beer, though over priced. Not enough space to play pool and charging extra $0.50 to play pool is just a headache.

The service was very slow for our late dinner
After ordering a drink I realized there was a massive dead fly. Was given another one which was fly free but no discount or real apology from anyone. Food was decent

Food is good, craft beers are good. They do flights, 5 4oz tasters.

Burgers are stellar!! We enjoyed the panko crusted chicken and the Beef Burger - recommend them both!

Big Bridge is a great place to drink heavily. Delicious beer and inexpensive food - how can you go wrong?

There is better craft beer if you're willing to drive out of the area but it is a pretty lively atmosphere with some interesting food options.

Amazing food. Great beer selection! You even get to take 2L of beer home in a returnable, refillable bottle.

first visit service was great seating was comfortable the pizzas were on special for $11 they were a good size but the rocket chicken burger I did not care for the chicken was greasy and the dijon sauce was so gross I had two bites and I hated it I usually like the dijon but this had a sour taste to me my husband insisted I take it home but he threw it out the butter chicken looked ok

I watched Raptors Warriors game 1 here. Awesome drinks.

One star for the Server. He got my order wrong, was too busy with a large group to even come back and ask if we wanted anything else. Food was good, but won't sit in his section ever again.

We were having a going away party there, lots of people. Service was okay, a little inattentive but it was a pretty big group. We had made reservations though so maybe more staff should have been brought in??? We couldn't hear the speeches because the music was so loud and apparently it can't be turned down... Oh well.

Food is always good here and the beer selection is great. I highly recommend coming on their Asian nights, the portions are huge. They can be easily shared between two people... but I prefer to order my own dish and have leftovers the next day.

Atmosphere was great, friendly staff. Food was blaaaaand, expected though from a pub I guess...keep to the basics like fries and burgers and you're good, don't even venture for the pasta, lol!

Came here again... For a few drinks and appetizers with a friend. Had a really good experience the gentleman behind the bar was very friendly. The appetizers were good the onion rings were a little bland other then that we had a good time. We will be back for sure.

Good dinner menu, and they seem to always be busy. They have good food and good customer service. you have to try the CHICKEN CHOW MEIN its amazing. The restaurant is reasonably price.

The bartender chose to hook up the 2 people I went with, with cheap shots then told me he couldn't it for me (charged me 7$ for one shot and them 7 for 2, me a female them both men) when I asked management he said "sorry I'll talk to him" it was a strange situation to say the least. Very little consideration for making sure the customer left happy. That will be the last time I go.

Extremely unhappy with the service at this place. Showed up at 6 o'clock. Was asked if we wanted drinks which was fine. Server seemed a tad busy but we asked when she has a moment if we could order food. At 6:50, the server still hadn't returned to take our orders and had gone to 4 other tables to take their drink orders instead. Finally she returns and asks if we want another drink... So not only do you ask for our 2nd drink after 50 mins, you also still haven't taken our food order.

Firstly as someone who is getting into craft beers i found this place interesting as they only had three beers on menu and you had to ask to see a small menu of specialty beers. Considering that this is a company calling itself a brewing co. This is more of an eatery and even then the food was not good for most of the meals at the table, the one thing that i liked was the artichoke dip and pita bread that was spiced actually very deliciously. But the beer i ordered was a sour in which i could only taste the fermentation and otherwise did not find enjoyable at all. And only drank it because it was beer of some sort. Definitely would not reccomend.

Great service, tasty appies and drinks. Only downside is automatic gratuity for groups.

The recipe for the chow mein has changed, not a fan of the new one.

went here for the first time last time. Service was awesome.We had the cod fritters to start. They were SO good! I had the burger as my entree which was pretty good. Planning on coming back soon!

Great food and good drinks. The Chinese menu is fantastic. Try the clubhouse salad.
