Overpriced and was not fresh or even warm! They are very friendly but the food was room temp and fatty.

So it is a chore to get my wife to agree to BBQ. The one time in two months I did I went to Big Daves. He should re name it big let down. This garbage tasted like boot leather that was soaked in swamp water to bring back its moisture, then burned on a charcoal grill and had spicy ketchup sprinkled on it. Just do yourself a favor and drive past this trash hut.
More fat than meat, I really tried to eat this beef plate but beyond bad. Baked beans were good, potato salad good...but the meat was chopped (was expecting sliced brisket) and the fat was so bad that I gave up and trashed the rest of it.
It is edible I would say 5/10 about on par with store bought bbq. I wouldn t go here again. My plate was $15 which is what I would expect to pay for high end bbq but this is not. Was worth a try.
Not impressed. Ordered the smoked chicken plate. Had baked beans (which had a weird flavor but were tolerable) and mac and cheese (which was pretty good). Portions of both were fairly small. Chicken could have been good IF they hadn't poured their awful tasting sauce all over it (without even asking if I even wanted it). Yuck! Price was high for what we got. The 3 guys in the stand were nice though. Added tip before tasting the food. I wont be back.
Didn't know I was pumping gas in Powdersville next to the father of DJ Jones. Cool!
This is the best BBQ in the upstate. I ve had a lot of them, and this is the one to beat. By far the best sauces, beans, and brisket.
Ordered for an entire college team. They worked with our budget to create and deliver a fantastic meal for our athletes. The food was amazing! We will definitely use them whenever we are in the area!
My new favorite barbecue place in the upstate. Authentic hardwood smoked barbecue pork, ribs, and chicken. Nice Alfresco seating. When you're in Powdersville, follow your nose to the best barbecue. Ask for the collard greens, they're really kick ass.
You have to try this place. That s all I can say. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Very very good.
