While I m not a big fan of the politics of the parent company Big Daddy Guns itself, this location is run very well by several knowledgeable and helpful staff, and the prices are more than fair

Great store and people. If u go ask for Lugo. He is the reason I go there and I tell my friends to go. Tons of knowledge and will listen to your needs.

I purchased a rifle and had excellent help with Lugo. He answered my questions and got me through all the paperwork. They were out of my ammo that day, but when I picked up the gun 3 days later, he had reserved some ammo for me from their last shipment to the store. Denny also helped me when I picked up the rifle and he was very helpful as well. I signed up with them to get my discounts.

Friendly, expert service that was helpful and useful in choosing the right gun for me. These guys really know their stuff! Definitely recommend this place for first time gun buyers like me. I was sent to Big Daddy Guns by a very experienced law enforcement officer, so this place is obviously great for buyers from both ends of the spectrum.

Big daddy has been my go to shop since I ve been in Gainesville. Great prices and if they don t have it they can get it. Jeremy is the man and the whole crew has helped me out anytime I ve needed something. Highly recommend them.

Great selection of firearms and firearms accessories. The only place in gainesville that consistently has ammo and is not gouging. I would say if you are looking for a suppressor go here, there have a large selection of cans and a silencerco kiosk.

Recently purchased a firearm from Big Daddy and the experience was nothing short of amazing! Carlina assisted me with my purchase and respectfully answered all of my questions - the process was simple and a pleasure. When my autistic son turned 5 and really started to get into things (all were safely under lock, key, code, or biometric fingerprint depending on gun type). My wife pushed me to down size. This was 3 months before the COVID-19 fun times we are currently experiencing. Regretting the decision, I reached out to Big Daddy Guns and Anthony immediately greeted me warmly and confidently answered all my questions, including the more in-depth ones. When every other shop in town didn t have stock, ammo & firearms, Big Daddy did. He went above and beyond for me. I just wanted to send him a shout out and hopefully the management team there will take notice because he will be the reason for the purchase and repeat business. Give his man a raise or since guns are his thing, maybe a really nice one as a bonus. Keep up the good work guys, you ve just earned a customer for life.

The rifle I bought was top of the line, new in the box, and as I ordered it. Unfortunately, these people are flat out liars about what they have in stock. I called to verify the online listing through their website was accurate. The young lady I spoke to put me on hold to go check and verify the weapon was in-stock. She returned to say the rifle was in stock, 8 of them. So, we placed the order immediately. A few days later we had yet to receive any shipping information. It took several weeks for us to effectively communicate with them, and we never received a straight answer as to why there was a delay. Come to find out, the distributor had the rifle, not the store itself. I took almost a month for us to receive what we ordered and was told was "in-stock". Terrible customer service for a business that claims to ship within 48 hours.

Worst gun purchase I have ever had. I received my firearm 22 days after purchase when they claim they ship 24-48 hrs (I live one state away in Georgia) . No communication was attempted by them whatsoever. I had multiple gun broker and company website messages ignored. The item's status was "ready to ship" for 3 weeks, never on backorder. By week three with no help I called on Thursday and they claimed the shipping department would have it out by monday (if it's in stock like they claim, it should have been shipped out that day). Monday comes and no shipping info received, I call Tuesday and they said shipping department says it will be out that day.....took threatening to cancel my order to get it shipped to me. No efforts to appease the customer were attempted, not even dropping the shipping charges. Will never order from them again.

I was in need of a part to do a repair on one of my rifles, they actually had it. I had never been to the store before, but I did find everything I needed and then some. Low pressure and plenty of staff if you did need help. As a Vet, they also offered me a discount, which was greatly appreciated. I plan to visit them again today. Highly recommend checking them out.

I checked out their Big Daddy Unlimited membership gun purchasing program after seeing an online in-video ad. Their business model is that of a purchasing club such as Costco or Sam s Club; you pay a monthly membership fee in exchange for discounted prices.

I was suspicious when they wouldn t show any member prices without paying the first month up front. I figured if they were truly offering the customer significant savings, they would highlight it. It seemed a bit off that they charge you before they ll even show you their prices. The fact that they hide the actual prices until you pay them was the first red flag. My suspicions were founded. I signed up just to find that their member s only prices were essentially the same as the other large online gun stores, typically within a couple dollars. In some cases, the Big Daddy Unlimited members prices were higher than other online gun stores. Other negatives include their limited inventory and extremely dated website that lacks effective product filtering such as selecting a specific make rifle in a specific caliber.

For the guns I was interested in, I didn t find a single benefit to purchasing them using my Big Daddy Unlimited membership account. I made three firearm purchases last month, I got all three from other online stores at better prices than my paid-for membership offered. If you think you ll sign up and get big discounts, you re sorely mistaken.

Quite possibly the worst customer service i have received in Gainesville!!! I asked for a magazine to my firearm and the guy behind the counter eating Chinese food said, "If i had one it would be on the wall somewhere over there" Then i asked for a trigger for my rifle and he said "nope dont have it" I mean come on where is the customer service? I had cash and was willing to buy, thank god i didn't waste my money here!!!!

Overall the experience has been positive despite initial mixup and delays in shipment of the products. Customer service and prices were great!

I was interested in getting the paperwork for an NFA trust. I wanted to ask some questions and was basically told "oh you can go home and do it" when I approached the silencer shop kiosk. Guess I'll do that and buy the suppressor online or from another shop and figure things out myself
