This is a loud, crowded beer hall. They have an amazing beer selection, delicious food, and prompt, friendly service. Eat here. Drink here. You won't regret it.

Good beer. Decent sausages and pretzels. Long bench tables. Sometimes music. A few TVs for sports and bartenders are willing to change the channel on request.

A large crowd during the half-price happy hour. make sure not to order beers in pitch which was later found out not included for half price discount.

Delicious sausages and solid beer selection. Open atmosphere, easy to drive/get to.

Exactly what you'd want in a German Biergarten, without being too cliche Bavarian. Bratwursts, cheddarwursts and kielbasas are amazing, along with the pretzels and sauerbraten. Highly recommend!

Good food and beer. The music inside was loud making conversation difficult. The outside dining area is not as noisy. I'll go there again but eat and drink outside.

Cool place. Like a lot of places in the States now it's pricey but their beers are good. Staff friendly.

Its a cool place but the food from the grill took forever and it was somewhat not original German at least currywurst wasn't, burger was very dry and I asked for medium.

Super place to drink beer, lot of variety, in house and international. Live band and happy staff, specially the dancing kabab chef made my day!

This is one of the top places you should visit if you're in Hoboken. Tuesday half-price days are a particularly good deal, but the food & beer is worth the trip any day of the week.

Beer Garden is always a winner. great food, I always have the schnitzel.. the mussels are usually fantastic as well. Come with an empty stomach!

Their Wednesday night trivia night is competitive and difficult. Bring a few well pop-cultured friends and try not to cheat via smartphone.

Outside of that, try the sausage and calamari for an appetizer. It's salty and savory enough to compliment a pint.

We absolutely love this place, Andrew the bartender is a true rockstar and is one of the reasons we frequent this place. Beer selection is the best in the NJ/NY area hands down, my only complaint is that they need to hire better musicians when they have live music. Too much of the same boring stuff, they need to have different varieties. Who ever handles this music needs to be replaced but still everything else is 5 star.

I really loved this place. It's spacious, the food is good, and it has different rooms that have a different feel to them. I got charged $30 for drinks i didnt buy and that sucked, but still a place id go back to.

One of the few beer gardens I have been too that doesn't feel like a bar. The food is incredible and the atmosphere is that of a movie set. Feels like you are being transported to another world. Tuesday half off with cash is the perfect couple for a movie date night with Bow Tie.

Great Germany beer and fun atmosphere. Good place for large groups. Food is not fantastic. I would only go back for the liters.

Food was okay! If you have been to Austria or Germany it might be a bit disappointing.

Lots of beer choices and few food choices. Good service and nice decoration.

Cool place. Bartenders were friendly and quick. Loved the industrial look of the place. Only seemingly strange thing was their were lots of families with babies drink beer there. Perhaps that is the new thing.

Excellent food and delicious beer. What a wonderful escape from the ordinary in a traditional beer hall setting. Great atmosphere and live music make this comfortable eatery a destination to enjoy the finer things in life the way Germans have done for centuries. Be sure to order the pretzels (and everything else).

Second time here, should have learned from the first. Service spotty, chaotic, nothing like the awesome service in a real German Bierhaus. Price for some of the beers ridiculously expensive. Mysterious 'cash only' brat and kielbasa stand in the back of the place, service there not that great. Watched a guy spread out and count money into several piles, more than once, while the line grew and the other guy was struggling to take orders. The counting counter was the same one food was prepared on which too raised my eyebrow. Brats were good, but also overpriced. The day saver was the German bier. Go there for the beer and pretzels, avoid the brat bar. Suggestion to the owners: Incorporate the brat bar food into the regular menu, fix the wait forever to order process, perhaps create an app so people can order. We want beer, not fighting for a seat, then waiting 20 minutes to order. Go to Germany and see how an efficient operation runs.

The food was very good. For those enjoying a noisy, jolly evening...it is just exactly that. If one prefers a quieter, more-conducive-to- pleasant-table -conversation...this is not the place. We are visiting from Northern Virginia in the metropolitan DC area, and we found it to be rather pricey. But then, it was the preferred choice for our newly graduated offspring, so that was just fine. But we would probably not return...unless we were once again hosting a family gathering.

This is my fav spot in Hoboken. Quality food and drinks. I love the atmosphere and the pretzels are amazing! I just ordered pickup during the quarantine and the staff ensured my experience was great! I was the only one in the restaurant, and they provided sanitary wipes for my credit card and the pen. I will definitely be ordering from here again soon. I can t wait to go back!

I love this place, i was having fun time's with my friends and hubby, the food is delicious. The staff is very friendly.

The food is OK but the guys at the grill are disorganized and not helpful.

First time here and plan on being back. The food menu was great, though thebording process was a little weird. There 8s a separate area that you go up to and order/ pay at. Food didnt take that long to make and was good. Beer selection was great and very reasonably priced. The staff was top notch and made you feel at home.

Great craft beer and draft beer selection. Their food menu doesn t stay behind either. I had the calamari and sausage and it was full of flavor and different from the way other restaurants serve it. This is a true Biergarten. Love the atmosphere and the charm of the staff.

Great selection of beers. Pretzel and brussel sprouts are killer.

Food is fantastic. Seating is different since all the tables are communal, but once you find a place to sit the waiters and waitressess make things really convenient

Really good food and decent beer selection. The grill is cash only and my personal favorite of the menu is the Rosemary Chicken.
Cons: the service could be better. Some waiters are terrible and will make you wait forever. And sometimes the music is too loud to have a conversation

Love this place and the beer selection is excellent! However, must work on the main kitchen menu and food quality as well as service. You are better off ordering at the bar if only here for drinks!

stopped in with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday.. great atmosphere... however, we had to cut our visit short because our server was extremely rude... when did it become ok to argue with customers? horrible...

Great beer garden with a nice selection of beers. Had the goulash which was a tad pricey but delicious. It can be a little crowded, but if you come at not peak hours it's great. Come either way.
