Compared to the Brick Lane behemoth, this branch of Beyond Retro is a bit meh. It's a basement shop and pretty small, so the choice is nowhere near as comprehensive. Don't expect much help from the staff either. If you're looking for vintage, there are far nicer shops in the area.

Thousands of quality vintage items that are well categorised and reasonably priced. The vintage evening wear section was especially enticing but there is also a big range of winterwear and all the makings of high fashion outfits for those with a smaller budget but a good eye.

When you walk into to Beyond Retro you are instantly hit with that wonderful musty smell traditionally associated with vintage clothes and then the fun begins as you rifle through the racks of hidden gems.

Beyond is a little more expensive than other vintage clothes stores, but the selection is varied and you will rarely come out empty handed.

Service is fairly standard, but you ll have more fun here than TopShop!

A lot of attention and care went into curating the racks of vintage clothing. They were arranged in clothing type and gradient/ hues. Pieces here were well-made mostly outside the mega garment-manufacturing superpowers of today (I.e. you ll find clothes made in the US, Korea, Philippines etc). There are enough quirky garments to regular joe shirts to have a fun balance. My go-to place for vintage shopping.

Another great buy at retro. I shop here 2-3 times a year (Theme and current fashion). Always exciting stuff, great staff knowledge/taste and help. My daughter also loves it so great to get her off the high st fashion.
Good times.

its such a great bargain considering youre getting genuine vintage and retro clothing, sometimes something is a little gnarled and broken e.g i got a plaid top from there recently and one of the push buttons were broken but it really made it look good so dont judge everything so quickly these things give it character, the staff were really welcoming and understood how you can easily feel overwhelmed with all these nice clothes around

Being London .. still expensive. Going to Shoreditch's Vintage flea market is more of an issue, which isn't particularly cheap either. They don't have too much variety of clothes and the price is high.

Love this vintage venue for grabbing a bargain, remember to barter to try and get a discount, as vintage shops are often more expensive than finding a genuinely cheap bargain on a market stall (presumably because the shop owners own a storefront and have to cover their expenditure). So many fab outfits!

This store has a very wide selection of clothing. They have a lot of stuff to go through. The staff are usually very nice. The store can get a bit crowded. Some of my favourite pieces have come from here although from going there a lot through the past years, they always seem to have basically the same things, and the selection doesn't change much. If I go there in the summer, they will have fairly the same stuff they will have if I go there 6 months later.

I'm someone who hates shopping but Matthew sorted me out with a fantastic 70's outfit for a party within a few minutes of arriving at the shop. I thought the value was decent also. Highly recommended based on my experience!

It's a pretty fun store; they have some quirky pieces in here. They were playing a lot of garage-y/bluesy rock when I was there which was nice. In terms of value, it's a bit hit or miss, but mostly ok; there were some jackets I was interested in which were fairly worn that were going for what I consider an unreasonable price.

Beyond Retro is one of my all time favourite vintage clothing chains. This branch just off Oxford Circus is a little bit on the small side but the selection is great and the staff are always happy to help. Find some pure retro classics whilst they belt out some classic tunes.

Shopping for a 70's party tomorrow night. Visited Beyond Retro. Huge range of retro vintage clothing at a great price. Shop assistants provided some great recommendations. Far happier shopping here then buying mass-produced near-plastic fancy dress outfits; and cheaper! Well worth a visit.

A great treasure trove of vintage in the middle of London and only a stones throw away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. Found some amazing vintage sunglasses in here that I will be happy with forever!

A good vintage shop with a retro vibe from the old music playing in the store and the decor. The clothes are a little pricy, but there's a large selection of stuff on the shop and a range of sizes. Dressing rooms are good and spacious, but when it's busy there might be a queue as there isnt many stalls.

Make time to visit Beyond Retro - and when I say make time, firstly make sure you go and secondly, give yourself an hour for rummaging.
That may sound mad but this place is packed to the brim of vintage fashion, for both men and women so you can get your fix on some sometimes outrageous but always cute, outfits.

The prices are completely reasonable for a London vintage shop - where most places around the city charge almost triple what the items are worth, BR keep it purse friendly so you'll always find a good bargain in the rails.
