God is able and willing to help everyone here. Mr. Gatlin is one of the best counselors here glory be to God God has truly giving him an anointing.

Saturday visiting staff is amazing Shila was very helpful and kind. Her professional demeanor along with friendly assistance made my visiting experience at better way beautiful.

The reviews are mostly 5 stars because this place is truly wonderful and completely on track with progressive and comprehensive successful recovery. If you really are looking for the right place and the right people this is definitely the best of its kind. They help the right people in the right way beyond expectations. Ignore the very few bad reviews they come only from people who have competition with this program.

I was lost, wondering in the dark. Beaten by the disease of alcoholism. I cried out, if there is a God please show me the way. And I wound up at better way. It was scary at 1st. But then as time went on the counselors and staff carried me through to the other side to the light. I spent a little over 8 months there. I truly found a better way of life.

Great Meetings There... I Go To The NA Meeting That Is At 8 Pm To 9 Pm... Most Of The Soeakers There Are Very Good And The Stories Amazing... Recommend This Place...

This is the worst treatment center! I would not recommend it to anyone! The staff is very unprofessional and prejudice! There is NO recovery there and no one on one counseling. Caters,to African Americans.

Went only for an na meeting but the people were genuine and welcoming.

I would give this place a zero if possible. Very dirty and rough. No rehabliation center should ever be allowed to look like that. I would not allow my son to stay. Looked like a homeless shelter for anyone on the street. Just another place to get government money. Heck yea they wanted my son there. He probably was the only person who actually had self insurance. This place would have took him 10 steps backward. Pictures are very miss leading!!! So are reviews! Not a 3.9, more like -3.9. Drove 5 hrs and couldn't wait to get out of the neighborhood.

I'm alumni of this place. There is alot of recovery and services at this place. They take the sickest of the sickest and help make them productive members of society. They saved my life I'll give them that.

If you want to get your life together and are battling addiction this is definetely a beacon of hope for the hopeless and for those in despair surrender to win YOU'RE worth it

Yes the place may not look like a Malibu Passages treatment center but the truth is this.. When I first walked into betterway, I thought I was in another country. Once you get accustomed to the facility everything goes smoothly. Every business in the world is going to have staff that is unprofessional but I can honestly say that ive made some really good friends at this place. Both staff and clients. If you are looking for a place that is going to cater to you, then keep on looking. This place keeps it real and strips you from what you may be used to but overall for alot of us thats exactly what is needed in order to recover.

This place saved my life. Nothing else worked. Most of the staff is friendly, unless you do something to F up. I definitely recommend this place if nothing else has worked!

Betterway has definitely impacted my life. I'm so grateful for this place. Danny T is the best of them. I love his approach to the program. I will never forget this place.

I highly recommend this program. If you're looking to get pampered under "comfortable" living conditions then this ain't for you just like the streets ain't sweet.

I went through a year long court ordered program. They very possibly saved my life. Listen to your counselor, Let go and let God

My Son (JP) was court ordered to this facility by the Miami -Dade County Court, For a Dual Treatment . He suffers with various mental disorders and he has a serious drug addiction. My family was told that this was the best place for him and that because he was court ordered that the facility(Better Way ) would be responsible for the coordination of his medical and psychiatric care as well as his scheduled court appearances. And we were told that they would make sure that he was given his medication daily and taking it properly.

Well sad to report that it was all a lie. This place is the most unprofessional establishment that has ever existed. The county major and the Dade-county comptroller s office needs to investigate the shady /underhanded way this place is being operated.

1. No one ever set up any medical or psychiatric appointments for him
and he has to get a monthly injection to keep him from hearing voice- he suffers with audio hallucinations, and all of this was given to them in his medical records.

2. They never called me or my family to let us know that JP was off/ out of his medications or that no one was transporting him.

3. They don't have any type of assistance to help anyone get off of drugs. they can t even keep drugs off the premises.

4. It has been proven that someone at the Better way was giving him marijuana to smoke.

5. They need to shut down- they are waste of the tax payers money and they don't deserve the non-profit funding that they receive.

Last but certainly not least they kicked him out of the program because he was acting irate and punched holes in their walls and they claim that he was caught smoking marijuana 3 X on campus.
Get this they didn't tell us that he was discharged or kicked out in a professional way. When we went to pick him up to take him to a Drs. Appt.& to his court appt.( because they wouldn't take him)
One of their employees told us that, They just wanted to give us a heads up before we got to JP. We were told they are not planning on letting him come back to the program.
They sent a false document to the court today saying that JP successful completed the program, but was being discharged and couldn't return due to him being caught smoking marijuana 3 X on campus.

Does that sound like a successful completion to you? Who Can you trust, with your family s life/health and wellness or their future. If the Judge ordered him to be drug free or it will be direct violation, Why didn't they send an order or report to the courts that he was in violation and appear in court with him? That my question.

Who is there to Audit these kind of places? Someone said it was poorly ran and that they are prejudice. Well These people don't give a dam about their patients/clients and it doesn't matter what color they are!
They only care about 1 color and that's GREEN County Tax $$$$$$ !!!!
We need help!!
