BFL is an amazing organization that has the power to change the trajectory of how our people navigate through the perils of being Afrikan in Amerikkka. Kwanzaa was a wonderful experience.

Got my "we must stop killing each other" signs at BFL on Page. Wonderful place. Impressed with the young people.

I love the way this organization is reaching out to the community and making a difference.

Great place to be for black history education. Family oriented, beautiful atmosphere. My absolute favorite people here is Mrs. Vivian Watt who is the Executive Artistic Director an Exceptional choreographer. She s a legend an Icon to many!! James Clark who is the Executive Vice President a brilliant man whose mission is to STOP THE VIOLENCE in our great but suffering city!!! BFL has an amazing after school program for all ages! Definitely recommend

Theres lots of services being offered. Only referring and helping mostly welfare to work people. Regular working people get no help. Discrimination to honest working people. Food stamp office and day care for welfare no elderly services real help.

Well came for some info but left with none sister just walked out they wasn't ready ..they should never plan something around there lunch ...half the people was out for lunch..good luck my people with this place.

Good organization for the public, They offer everything from cna classes to after school programs for school age kids

Very helpful if you need help with your plan B insurance these are the people to go and see and your Mo. Net health insurance she said it would take up to 90 days it was one week I'm telling you I don't know what she did but she did it when she was just saying that they might get around to a few fill out the paper and submit it but I don't know they got right on it it took one week very clean and very nice environment

BFL is the rock of the North City community. Without BFL this community would be in a world of hurt. Awesome people helping those in need.

They're really helping the public now as best they can and I for one think this is so awesome and a blessing considering everything that's going on right now. God bless each and everyone of you guy's and God bless America

They have a DFS office upstairs on 3rd floor that you don't have to wait in line for three hours. Cedric treats clients with respect and dignity and gives top of the line customer service and will assist you with basic forms and questions. You leave this office still feeling human with your dignity intact and still have the rest of the day to get things done! No waiting endlessly for hours with half-naked, screaming, snotty and crusty nosed kids in sagging, dirty diapers running around all willy nilly with rude, loud and ignorant mothers who have serious hygiene issues. This was the most pleasant DFS experience i have ever had hands down!

Mr. Clark definitely is in tuned with the community, great source of networking!

A complete waste of time. Sat and waited on someone for almost an hour, was of no help at all.

They are the best in working with the community professionally. If you want to start a business or GED, all sorts of needs, they can help you. Thanks

They are a blessing! Gave me a scholarship in 2005 and I graduated and became a medical assistant in Aug. 2006. Thank you BFL! When I become wealthy I will surely donate.

Great Cultural Center with many Great Cultural Educational and Artistic Productions and Activities!!!

I'm not sure if it is the whole company or just the one worker I had the "pleasure" of dealing with but I have to say Ashley Garrison the employee there does not care about people. Which is sad considering it is a place people go to get help. In the several months I have been working with her she has not returned a single phone call or email. She sends out spam emails but can't be bothered to answer or respond to any of her clients. It took her months to do what should have only taken weeks and every time I saw her I could feel her aggravation and her eyes rolling. She is in the wrong kind of work and I honestly hope she never needs help and gets the empty promises that she gives to people.

My son works there.. These people are very friendly and helpful, always willing to help when they can..

A pillar in the African American community. Access to many services in a beautifully Afrocentric decorated building. A hidden treasure.

This company effects and preserves all all generations!

I am currently enrolled in the mwa program with better family life, it seems like every time I call they give me the run around! No one ever really knows how to help they generally referr me to someone else who is either out or can't help either! Honestly a huge waste of time!!!

Marla and her team are phenomenal. Cannot say enough nice things about the development staff. Love working with the team here!

I love this place. I love what the organization stands for. I love what they do for our community. I love the events they have. I try to go to every one of them.

They give you all the help you need. Everyone is very friendly. Love my Mwa worker Ms. Frye she is the best always trying to push me to be and do better for myself and my children.

Didn't hate the place...just was unsatisfied with the ending results when I went there to try to get a job

Better Family Life is doing their best to make a contribution to the community. The rehab of the old Emerson school is outstanding, they even opened the 4th floor, that nobody knew it had.

Excellent community outreach. Fantastic and enriching kids programs.

It is a good community outreach organization program that always tries to continue to help families when they are in need

A place that you can get your life started or restarting School food stamps any type of help you need they got it
