I was fortunate enough to work at Better Business Consultants for two and a half years. My time spent there has been the driving force in my development professionally. If not for my experience with Better Business Consultants I would not be the entrepreneur that I am today. The company values treating all people with as much respect and kindness as possible. The emphasis on doing the right thing and working with integrity is incredible. Anyone that spends more than two weeks with Better Business Consultants will be able to clearly see that they are good people that work hard and always care about every person that they interact with. Of all the companies that I have had contact with, this one is special.

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, professionalism is: the skill, good judgment, and polite behavior that is expected from a person who is trained to do a job well.

These guys absolutely exude the opposite.

Skill: What skills? They take *pictures* of your application and then email it to their "colleague." Good business practice? No.

Good judgment: See above. No. Also, I wouldn't call interviewing someone in hallways, cafes or door entries good judgment. Interviews should be private, at least, most people think so.

Polite: They're not mean by any means, in fact, I'm sure they're quite nice people. However, do you call taking pictures of your application polite? Shouldn't it be more secure? Would you call polite being so loud that upstairs can hear you? No.

Overall, I wouldn't call these guys professional. I wouldn't consider them the "Better" Business Consultants at all. I'd call them Bush League Business Consultants or BLBC.

Also, some of these reviews are written by people that work there. Nothing says trustworthy like writing an objective review, about yourself!

Is this job hard? Yes.

Is this job hard? Yes.
Will it test your mentality? Absolutely
Is there a real opportunity? Those who say there isn't didn't even stay around long enough or pay enough attention to see it.

I worked for BBC for close to a year. During that time I put my management skills to the test. Worked with all types of people from many different backgrounds. Not only did an introverted person like myself get out into the real world and learn many of the social skills that allow me to excel at my current job now, I got to put a decent amount of money in my pocket at the same time.

There are many jobs out there that you can be paid with either experience or money, this opportunity allows both. There were very talented and interesting people that I worked with. Although I was there for less than a year I built a very solid relationship with Don McConville while I was there. After a rough patch of battling my own mentality I decided the job was not for me. The opportunity was there for the taking, but I was the one that gave up, the job didn't give up on me.

After I left working for BBC, I got a call from the corporate client we were working with at the time of my employment and it was a job opportunity. Little did I know that after I left my job there, Don was still trying to make sure that I got taken care of. He was the one that recommended me for the job that I still have today. Without this opportunity there is no way I would be in the financial position I am in today.

I would like to give people fair warning that working at this company, you will be tested in all facets of management from paperwork to training to sales. If you do not like being tested or challenged when you show up to work, do not even waste their time and resources hiring you.

I had the pleasure to work directly for this company over a year and a half ago. I still find myself using the great practices that this company taught me. Great environment with even better people.

I graduated from college with little idea of what I wanted to do, who I was, or what I was good at. Thought I'm no longer with BBC, I can say with full confidence that my experience there shaped me into the professional that I am today.

The ability to sell is a skill that transcends industry. For a recent graduate, getting as much experience as possible is goal #1, and that was what I had in mind when I started at BBC. What I ended up gaining was much more than that. First of all, I learned that I could sell effectively thanks to the extensive training BBC provides. In a hyper-competitive industry, having strong foundational sales structure is incredibly important, and BBC provides that. The job can be tough, as all sales jobs have highs and lows, but I learned a lot about my ability to persevere and find success in tough situations.

In addition to the sales side of things, I was fortunate enough to earn a corporate trainer position, further bolstering my skillset and giving me the ability to help others realize their potential. I got to work with an incredible group of people from a wide variety of backgrounds. As others have noted, the atmosphere at BBC is incredible and I am fairly certain I'll never find another job with as many fun people.

The bottom line is, if you're willing to put in the effort, you will grow as a professional and find yourself better for it. Whether you stay and work through BBC's very clear advancement structure or head elsewhere, the experience you'll get at BBC will equip you well to handle whatever your career throws at you.

I worked for BBC for over a year. After college I had no idea what I wanted to do, and coming from a science background I had no experience in sales and marketing. The corporate trainer position at BBC provided me with an excellent opportunity to learn about business and to learn a lot about myself. The team at BBC is motivated for excellence and they bring passion and excitement to the work place every day.

The position attracted a lot of like minded people who were looking to do something above average with their career. I personally enjoyed the challenges and the upbeat tempo that the job presented. After my time with BBC I feel I have a much better understanding of what it takes to be a professional in the workforce and I acquired the tools that are needed to be successful in today s world.

Whether you are just getting your career started, or are looking for a fresh start, I highly recommend BBC. It is a great entry level position and the opportunity for growth is available for those who put in the work. On a side note, it was by far the most fun work environment I have been a part of and found myself rolling with laughter no less than 3 times a day.

This "business" is a joke. It's like a bunch of kids playing house, except where the kids are like freshman and the house is a business.

Be careful, too many shuffled in and out. Still don't even know what they "do." Just talk talk talk. Also, fake professionalism you can spot from a mile away.

They got my resume from ziprecruiter tried set me up for interview as managerial consultant, come to find out it's door to door sales job for century Link , The guy that interviewed me was unprofessional and rude, he yawned 3 times during the interview and seemed uninterested or unhappy with his job. He asked me if I needed the job or not, I had to cut the interview short and decline. I was not happy that they wasted my time.
