I once posted reviews for a shady auto mechanic shop on their site after I repeatedly had problems with the company, and now BBB keeps spamming me to resolve my "claims" just because they want my money while they do nothing. Obvious spammers/scammers, URLs don't even redirect to their site.

I been helped from this people four times already. The last time a mechanic won t refund the money because when he fix my car he gave me one year warranty on my car but my car was running worse so he refuse to fix it and he refused to refund the money so I went to BBB and he finally refund the money. Before I went to BBB I waited for 2 months and Jesse the mechanic only gave me excuses. The place is called Minitek auto repair

Don t bother. They don t do anything. My case is officially closed because the issue wasn t resolved. That s when the BBB steps in and makes things right? No. They don t enforce anything at all. Absolutely no point in making a complaint. Absolutely no reason for them to actually have a job. Waste of time and space is all they are.

As a business owner, we are fairly helpless against malicious scammers, unfounded negative comments without merit, and other issues. The Better Business Bureau is founded on the principle of fairness for both the consumer and business owner with several levels of ways to resolve issues and complaints up to mediation. It allows consumers and businesses to work out any issues before posting the initial emotion of the consumer - I love that. They also provide a multitude of benefits from verification of requirements and grading of businesses, to expulsion of businesses not meeting their minimum standards for service and legal requirements through licensing, permit requirements, etc. So when you choose an Approved Business through the BBB, you are getting a pre-screened and legitimate company for your needs. Additionally, the BBB has been around for decades, and has a proven track record for providing both consumers and business owners high quality services, that keep getting better.

Palazzo pools of Corona, just did a redo of my pool! I can t say enough about my positive experience with this Company. From my first meeting, bid and beginning to the end of this project, has been a professional, promised kept, time on the project met, I m so impressed. So many folks write complaints, I needed to express my complete satisfaction with the entire process! Thank you to the owner/contractor, Rudy Lopez. Don t hesitate to call them. Nancy.

The Better Business Bureau should re-name themselv...

The Better Business Bureau should re-name themselves the B B E - Better Business Extortionists!

Did you know companies who donate money to the 'Bureau' get an instant A+ rating?

As a sign of common courtesy, I replied to the BBB while my colleague was away on vacation. I wanted to acknowledge the complaint first and foremost and requested any additional information they could provide to ensure we handle the matter accurately and in a timely manner.

The Response: forget the complaint, they could make it go away assuming our company took advantage of the special discounted BBB sponsorship offer. This would instantly improve our rating as well as establish our brand as a reputable organisation. These types of complaints would be a thing of the past and simply go away.

How is this legal? If the BBB is here to police the rights of the consumer - who is policing these vigilantes? I implore a representative of the BBB to deny my accusations about paying for a better business rating! They are not a government entity but a 'FOR PROFIT BUSINESS ENTITY'.

On second thoughts, the B B D is more apt... the BETTER BUSINESS DISGRACE!

The TWO stars is to ensure people actually read this review. I feel 1 start ratings are angry patrons focusing on a single item. I focus on a single issue but feel it important enough for people to read.
