Was pulled out of line at the gate and searched. Interestingly, no one else was. Security guard seemed very angry. I was asked to empty my pockets, so I did. She pointed at my vape and asked 'What is that?!?' as if she had just made the discovery of the century. I said it was my vape and was told that it was not allowed in the venue. I was forced to discard it or be denied entry. Since I was with a guest I did not want make a scene or be forced to leave. Embarrassed, I tossed my $50 vape into the trash. Once inside, hundreds of people are walking around vaping. A quick check of the Bethel website states that vaping and e-cigs are in fact allowed. I called Bethel to report the incident and never heard back. Avoid this venue if you can. I know that I will not be returning.

I feel so blessed to live so close to this amazing facility! Beautifully landscaped, clean restrooms, and great performances. The only downside is getting out of the parking lots! Buy reserved parking ticket for the big name shows!

Very open space for outdoor concert. Covered seating and a excellent hill for lawn seats. Facility is well taken care of.. just BEAUTIFUL views. Once you have been you will understand Woodstock more.. keep the history alive with music..

Good sounding acoustics, but bathroom wait is ridiculous. There needs to be larger bathroom areas added. For cost of show to miss a couple songs over waiting to urinate sucks, makes you not want to drink anything, oh and you will probably miss a song or two waiting for drinks. Plenty of property to upgrade.

Awesome place to see a concert. Great view of the stage from the lawn area. The lawn is lush & well maintained, not the typical mud pit you see at most outdoor venues. Lawn chair rentals are available.

Great place to see a show. Reasonable, clean, pretty setting. It's worth the ride on a weekend. Seems to draw higher end acts (tonight was Steve Martin and Martin Short). Food costs on par with a restaurant - $12 for a brisket sandwich with sides, and it was decent. Both lawn and covered seating. Only shortcoming is the local country roads on exit. It can take a while to get out. Be patient and relax.

This is an amazing place. Hadn't been in several years and we were in the area so we stopped. It was like taking a walk back through my memory banks. The "theater" itself is very clean and squared away. The toilets all worked. Views and listening are great even from the lawn. The shops are also a treat - not cheap but worth a look.

Nice well thought out venue. Easy it navigate. Good security. The lawn seats are a way back from the stage but multiple large monitors are posted making it easy to watch the show. Still, take a small pair of binoculars of you want to be able to see the performers up close. Be aware that you can't bring your own lawn chairs. You must rent them from the venue. Bags are not allowed except see-through plastic bags.

An incredible venue. The grounds, the acoustics and the staff are world class. (this is a NON-PROFIT Foundation).

Concession prices are high. Some shows traffic is tough - they offer shuttle servies from Monticello Raceway.

Thank you Alan Gerry for creating tis and for your donations that keep it going. Semper Fi!

Great venue, but why don't they start shows at the scheduled time? Most people are seated, but it seems they wait for all the people who are still in line for food and drinks. Tickets say 8:00, start at 8:00!!

Visited here twice. This is the actual location of the 1969 Woodstock Festival. The museum is wonderful with a trip through the 1960's and leading up to the actual event. You must go out to the actual field and you can really understand and feel what it was like to be there 50 years ago

Traffic in and out is horrendous and not very well designed for the size of the venue. Bethel woods it's self is beautiful and a perfect spot to go watch concerts close to home. Beware of food and especially beer prices. 12 bucks a bottle of beer, you are better off drinking in the parking lot beforehand.
