Stylish...well appointed...great service....great facilities....great customer service and accomodation. Great food well served.

Lovely place and gardens. Ordered vegan afternoon tea which wasn't very good unfortunately. Great that they offer it but I hope they can improve.

Everything perfect except when they do a buffet breakfast. There was no black pudding. No hash browns and had to ask for a fried egg which was uncooked when it arrived. Shame as it does not fit with the other high standards. Kate

Beautiful hotel refurbished to a very high standard room 122 lovely. The grounds and pump house wedding venu is amazing.

Efficient professional staff. Excellent food, service with outstanding well equipped rooms.

All good and lovely apart from the persistent false fire alarms at 3am in the morning

Went there on the 5th November great fireworks, also there were staff they to get you out of the mud if your vehicle was stuck in the extra car park. Which we did not in the end, they was 2 off road vehicles that they used. Lovely place to eat & drink staff nice & friendly.

Excellent Sunday lunch, catered really well for the kids too...

Beautiful views, wonderful rooms, very clean and tidy, large bath and bed, great food, but it was made all the better with outstanding customer service!

We would like to say a big thank you to the staff and management at Stone Manor ( Hogarths ) for making my wife s 70th birthday celebration last Saturday evening a very special occasion. Laura, Sam, Amy, Nic and other members of staff who helped arrange the evening were great.

Everything went so well, the service was more than excellent, the food was brilliant, the room we booked ( The Nest ) made it so special. We stayed the night in a very comfortable room with a lovely breakfast in the morning.

Well done everyone and thank you so much.

Very nice hotel, good food (some dishes a little bit expensive for what they are) but over all very nice and classy place to stay.

Wonderful building and location. High tea was splendid.

Lovely hotel, staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful...the hotel itself was spotlessly clean, it's set in beautiful grounds and the food was lovely, couldn't fault it.

Nice place, however place settings were wrong and took ages to finally put it right. Food was very nice but the service was poor and to a point rude and arrogant.

Stayed here 3 times, excellent and welcoming service .

Walls are too thin, rooms too small and we weren't warned about a party taking place that night or that builders would knocking seven bells out of the wall below our room before 9 am.
Bar prices extortionate!

Very pretty buildings, bar very expensive, room very nice, number 215 bed uncomfortable, could not sleep ,my wife also. I did complain, leaving my email so they could contact me, but they did not bother. I would not stay there again.

A wonderful evening from start to finish. Food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was superb. Special mention must be made of Luke, who looked after us for the evening with total efficiency and made our 30th wedding anniversary meal and evening so extra special for us both. He is a delightful young man and an absolute credit to the management. Highly recommended!

Preferred it before the changes. Afternoon tea was rushed and I do not like a toasted sandwich with scones.

Very well worth a visit. Enjoy the luxury of a very good hotel. Wedding party enjoyed a warm welcome. Facilities good, staff could not be faulted, food excellent and well presented.

What a fantastic place. We took our dog with us for one nights stay just to get away at the weekend .
These guys could not do enough for us in terms of accommodating are very large pooch . The grounds of the hotel are amazing as well as the rooms and Restaurant.
Nothing is to much trouble for the staff total excellence all round will certainly go back again and would highly recommend .

I've been to many hotels all over the world and whilst I'm sure, there are better ones if you're prepared to pay substantially more for them, this has to be the best I've stayed in (in all respects), for the money.

I won't waste time repeating everything the previous reviewers have posted but I will confirm, that I agree with all their postive comments.
In brief, this is a unique, historic, stylish, clean, spacious hotel and I'd award it 6 if the option was available.
It is the first hotel I've found that has a 'boutique' style to it but is also practical in most respects.
The breakfast range was exceptional and the quality was top notch all of which was available in an exceptional dining area.

The only downside applies to anyone using a wheelchair as although my room was on the ground floor, there were not only a few steps to go down to get to the room but there were a few steps 'inside the room' to get up to the bed area from the entrance and bathroom area.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough and hope to be staying there again soon.

Lovely hotel, very nice setting, breakfast was of high standard and lots of choice. Rooms more than adequate and nicely presented, bed was a little uncomfortable but that's a personal feeling not a critique. Loved my stay.

Beautiful setting. Disappointed with the food. Ordered a vegetarian afternoon tea and they put beef sandwich on the plate. The beef in the other tea had string in it!! Complained about it to the manager who was very apologetic and the staff were lovely. Hence why i have awarded 3 stars instead of 1.

We stayed for our anniversary and it was an absolutely amazing place, lovely staff and the bedroom we stayed in was first class. Definitely worth the money

Went here for a wedding the staff and the grounds are lovely. Our group was going to have to wait 2 hours for a taxi but the receptionist offered us a lift for free. All staff were so friendly and helpful.
