A lovely afternoon. All of your staff were so friendly and professional
Afternoon tea was perfect.
We loved celebrating my Mums birthday with you.
The extra touches a birthday balloon and a plate decorated with chocolates made her day x
Thank you all. Oh and not forgetting Santa

The hotel is beautiful, the setting and the overall look and feel of the hotel is really pleasant. The bar is well stocked and cosy, the bar staff were really friendly and accommodating. The rooms were well designed, clean and comfortable. The rooms are a bit of a maze and a bit of a walk to get to but it's not really too much of an issue. The breakfast staff were very accomodating for big groups and food came out quickly and was tasty and hot. The only real downside of the hotel was that the receptionists were absolutely miserable, it makes the welcome and departure not feel very pleasant.

Just made 3 stars which is disappointing to report. They clearly over stretched their catering capacity and failed to correctly and fully deliver a pre-booked afternoon tea (for 7) for an 80th birthday celebration. Waitress was as helpful as possible and the manager made amends but well and truly had the shine taken away from a special meal.

Visited to have a look for our wedding booking. Lovely venue with some stunning gardens. A lot of thought has obviously gone into tailoring the hotel towards being a wedding venue. Definitely a strong contender.

Top class venue, helpful staff, beautiful atmosphere. We attended a wedding and stayed over the weekend. It was perfect apart from the bar prices which were very over priced. I don't think they've worked out that if they sell at a reasonable price they will sell a lot more! Food was delicious, loved the idea of a group breakfast!

I got married at Hogarths Stone Manor on 22/06/17... I could not have dreamt of a better experience- everything was perfect and went to plan!
Our wedding coordinator (Laura Brown) looked after us every step of the way and ensured complete trust throughout the year of build up and planning.
All of the hotel staff and services are just as amazing as the breathtaking surroundings and we truly can't wait to head back as a married couple and create more wonderful memories in such a wonderful place.

Stayed 4 nights first weekend in September, in a deluxe room.
Firstly, we needed change of scenery, as we hadn't been away from home because of the cancellation of an overseas holiday in March, and secondly to get a break from work. This was our first post Covid lock down break.
The room was excellent, with a couple of very minor gripes. First was the toiletries, advertised as L'occitane, but weren't; explained as an incidental of the Covid 19 pandemic. The second was light under the door. I found this intrusive and corrected it by placing a couple of cushions by the door. As a result I didn't report the fault so don't know whether there was another solution. One other issue is that these rooms are above tge gadden room, which is the function room. There was a wedding on but I did not notice any significantly intrusive noise.
Otherwise I am really struggling to do anything other than submit praise. I found the staff very friendly and helpful, I thought the food was wonderful (the steak medallion was to die for) and the garden and grounds superb.

I cannot wait to come back!

Stayed for one night , check in was at 3, but arrived at 1.45pm and booked straight in, reception staff were extremely helpful from the start. Very inviting and walked through very warm homely lounges to the room, this was very cold on entry, but management were straight in with a portable heater, and proceeded to get the heating on.
Room was immaculate, cosy, and a good size (twin room), with a beautiful view.
Dinner at 6.. well....compliments to the chef, the salmon was outstanding and all reasonably priced.
Left at 8pm for a ghost hunt, arrived back at 3.15 am to locked doors (which personally I thought was a good idea), just called a number for the night porter to come and open within 10 seconds.
Slept like a baby, and topped off with a beautiful breakfast (best I've had staying anywhere)
Overall, beautiful accommodation, polite, and friendly staff, all with a nothing is too much attitude. Would definitely recommend, and I shall stay again.

We booked a night at Hogarth's for my Uncle's wedding anniversary, and it was an excellent event. The room itself was tastefully decorated, clean and quite large. The beds were comfortable and for once, as someone who finds it difficult to sleep, I actually slept very well in a new bed. Dinner was good, the starter had a bit too much pepper, the main was amazing and the pudding was just right, although sacrificed to my brother as the portions were a bit small for him. The night was excellent, and breakfast the next morning was well catered to with a wide variety of different foods. The staff on breakfast were excellent and very polite. The only downside was that they struggled to accommodate my 3 year old cousin around the main courses during the evening meal, failing to provide his pasta with the starter and leaving him hungry for over half an hour before it could be brought out. They were given advanced notice that he would need his main earlier, but failed to manage their own time effectively. 4 stars for an ocerall good experience.

Beautiful and charming hotel in a nice environment. The hotelroom was big and clean, beds were fine. There are fire places in the lounge so there is the possibility of enjoying a glass of wine by the fire in the evening. Breakfast was also good, lots of possibilities in warm breakfast and there is a buffet. Staff are friendly and welcoming. In the environment are lots of things to do such a visiting the old steamtrain or the zoo. Or hiking in Clent hills/ Malvern Hills. I can recommend this hotel.

Had a Christmas party here. Food was very good. Draught beer poor, rescued by a couple of decent beers in bottles. Rooms quite expensive to stay over. Even more expensive if you have too much to drink, cannot find your room and go to sleep in the corridor

Overall, this was a disappointing visit for afternoon tea today, in celebration of my daughter's birthday. The hotel was not expecting us despite booking it over the phone. Instead of apologising and suggesting ways to overcome this situation they tried to pretend that nothing was wrong. The Manager arrived and the bill was halved but the only apology came from one of the waiters.

Really nice hotel, recently refurbished. Our room was very clean and had some nice features like underfloor heating in the bathroom. The view from our room was lovely and the staff very helpful. My only minor criticism was the walls were a little thin as we could hear someone snoring next door.

Beautiful manor house in gorgeous landscaped setting. Sunday lunch ambience was excellent, lounge drinks accompanied by gentle tunes from pianist. Prompt, friendly, efficient service, good menu choice, and food delicious. Recommended.

Visited with my granddaughter looking at places for her wedding venue. Beautiful setting but the set up was very disjointed. There were lovely rooms to stay the night before for the bride and groom and some of the guests attended the wedding but it was a long walk to where the ceremony was held. There was indoor and outdoor facilities but again a long walk to get to them. The downside was that they held two weddings on same day so each wedding would be sharing the facilities. The time frame was two hours between each wedding. Area for reception appeared to be a bit crowded. Would have helped if person showing round had been more enthusiastic. Would be a great setting for a small wedding party.

I attended the firewalk this evening working with Ukfirewalk.

I was amazed by the beauty of the grounds. The manager I spoke to was a lovely gentleman. He told me that dogs are welcome so I will definitely be having another trip here in the future with my family. To enjoy the scenery.
The other staff were all friendly and helpful.
The coffee was great

Oh and the bathrooms were lovely and clean, and travelling with my work as a firewalk instructor I see every bathroom going this was in my top 5 so far this year.

Thank you for your hospitality!
With thanks

The place is stunningly beautiful with a view to take your breath away. The food was good. The service a bit slow to my liking with the wine finally served way over halfway our meals. Overall a pleasent experience

Great staff, lovely surroundings. "Dining room" restaurant high price for the attempt of high end cuisine. Over priced for what it was. Eaten much better food for far more reasonable prices.
Yet breakfast was top end, Good selection of good quality produce.
Would stay there again gladly. Just wouldn't eat in the "Dining room" for an evening meal.

A nice place in the heart of England where klischee come true in a positive way.
The house itself, the rooms (very clean and spacious) with the best beds i slept "ever".
The Restaurant is o.k. as the food, but to expensive. I can not agree to the very limited opening hours. All in all ... you wanna see the 'real' England ... this is the place.

Beautiful hotel for a 2 night break! My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights in July 2018 as we needed a quiet break away. This hotel really is stunning, inside and out. The staff are extremely polite and friendly.

Food - we only had breakfast which was more than sufficient. The dining area was very pleasant. Even though there was a wedding on each of the days we stayed, didn't really notice as they had separate food/drinks areas.

Drinks - standard hotel prices and bar area was very nice. Fortunately we had great weather and got to enjoy our drinks in the lovely outdoor drinks area.

Rooms - staff were very kind to upgrade us as we had just got married a week before. Room was amazing, very clean, spacious, classy and modern with everything you need.

Negatives - not many to be honest. No lift and it was quite a walk to our room. Drink prices. Also, not many places to explore around Stone. It is a very small village and there's not a lot happening in Kidderminster town. Went to Bewdley for the afternoon which is about 20 min drive from the hotel. Nice enough, lots of 'pubby pubs', small park etc. Nice for an afternoon in the sun!

All in all, lovely hotel and highly recommend if you're looking for a classy hotel at a relatively good price!

The website headlines as Elegant dining that steps up to the plate for any occasion Regrettably it did not do so when 4 of us had dinner there 3 weeks ago on a quiet, wet Tuesday. The venue itself is very impressive although the car park needs some maintenance. The service was slow and the person taking our order couldn t have been less interested! The gap between ordering and delivery of food to the table was so great that one of our guests joked to the waiter that he had been about to phone for a takeaway! The menu was unexceptional and the food itself was good pub quality at restaurant prices. We will not return.

Lovely style building with a welcoming feel to it. Bedroom good size and decorated nicely with furniture to compliment the style of the building. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast area airy and tidy. All in all a lovely visit.

Lovely venue.. stayed 2 nights in a lovely room.. Drinks and food quite expensive... Breakfasts are hit and miss.. serveries aren't replenished often enough and our party were ignored for tea/coffee and toast on second morning and had to ask several times, got a drink but toast remained absent - quite poor.. but the place itself and staff are nice

I organised an afternoon tea for my special birthday celebration and what a wonderful time my family, friends and myself had. The quality of the food, service and warm friendly staff was second to none! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, led more than ably by Aaron, and we all came away feeling that we had had an amazing time. Thank you to everyone involed - I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this lovely place!
