We reserved a table which was a necessary. It's a popular place. We had a selection of starters from the buffet, a carvery with a good selection of vegetables & then had a choice of sweets, again from the buffet. The food is well prepared & well presented & there were plenty of staff on hand who were both pleasant & attentive. Where we were in the restaurant that didn't have a view although there are excellent views from the cafe area where you can appreciate the hotel's elevated position. Good food, good surroundings & well priced.

The hotel is ok but value for money not so great. I stayed in the executive suite and honestly it just looked average. The suite was not part of the main building and was outside. The shower facility was terrible as it was so small. The room was very hot and when you turned the air con on it just blew hot air out.

The breakfast was good however certain items look like they had been left out to long such as the dried up cheese and eggs.

The vegetarian food was awful and not worth the money the charged. I tried a few vegetarian dishes such as the cauliflower steak which was just a cauliflower that was roasted and bits of broccoli with some nutty sauce - omg seriously it was awful to the point I had to return it and get chips which were actually burnt.

The pool was ok and the jucuzzi was not working which looked like it has been out of order for a while.

Would not return to this hotel. Have it 3 stars as the staff were really nice.

Enjoyed a charity Xmas do here today and was impressed..great staff and 3 course dinner which I loved very much.My only slight niggle was the music..would've been a tad more festive if Christmas music was played rather than pop music.But that aside,I loved what I saw at this hotel and want to come back again.

We popped in for lunch & a drink or two. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Lots of space outside for the kids to run around. Plenty of parking spaces.
Payment by card only, but this is presumably due to current Covid-19 issue. Prices were on the high side, and the lunch menu a little limited, but the food was very nice and portions perfectly adequate.
Staff friendly and attentive.
All in all a very pleasant, if somewhat pricey, afternoon.

A very nice hotel tucked away in a quiet village outside of Swindon. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

A very nice hotel. No restaurant but a good breakfast bar. Plenty of eateries around the area.

When we arrived we were given a key for a room in another building so went wandering round the hotel and had to go back to reception to be told. When we arrived at the room there were sheets everywhere and no linen on the bed- called reception and were told to come back because they d made a mistake. We were then given the key to another room on the ground floor with less of a view and broken air conditioning. We went for dinner in the bar and the service from the staff there was fantastic, they were really friendly and efficient. After dinner we returned to the room and asked for the air con to be fixed (it was 27 degrees), someone from reception came to our room and moved us to another one! In the final room the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling away from the wall, the floor of the shower was all chipped and everything just looked a bit tired. Not worth the money really

Beautiful place. Got married here and go back often for spa treatments. Would recommend to anyone.

Very nice hotel, room's are very comfortable and clean. Due to Corona virus they are only serving limited breakfast so not worth the money you pay for it, so bring your own or eat out. But I would recommend this place.

Lovely well presented hotel, great friendly staff. Good food, fantastic whisky bar. Great views from the pavilion rooms. Stayed here twice now and will be going back
