Good location opposite the beach with friendly and welcoming staff and members. Pool is small and cold but sauna and spa are super warm so they balance out. Over 5 years old are allowed in spa and sauna which was a bonus. Lose one star because hot water took a very long time to come out of shower. Would definitely return.

Outside not very appealing. Needs a good wash and a coat of paint. Inside. Much better .music in the lounge bar would make for a better ambience. The bath room would benefit from a more thorough cleaning , especially round the tiles and bath

We arrived after a four and a half hour journey. The reception staff were polite. Disappointed that the hotel do not offer family suites with a sea view.

Our room was so small and looked dark and dirty and it was awfully too warm. There was no temperature control which I was shocked about even a three star can have air con! I had a very young baby so was worried about the temperature of the room. I was going to call down to reception and then found the phone didn't work and said it had no battery charged! We were on the third floor so you can imagine in case of an emergent we couldn't even call down to reception. The whole night we had the window wide open with the fan on. The food at breakfast was a joke. The staff were so miserable. The room was too warm and uncomfortable to sit and enjoy your meal. The options for breakfast were pitiful. They're no vegetarian options for a hot breakfast other than hash browns and beans. The coffee was stone cold.

Staff were very friendly, food was absolutely lovely. Swimming pool was over looked by everyone coming into the hotel so didn't want to use it and the outside of the hotel is abit of an eyesaw but other than that we had a nice stay, the room is nice too.

Fantastic helpful staff in our hour of need! Upgraded to better room as they couldn't provide a twin bed with no fuss. Excellent spa facilities. Lovely sea views. Good parking with disabled access. Didn't use the restaurant on this occasion but will look forward to eating there next visit

Hmmmm, well we won't be returning to this hotel although I must say the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had issues with our room being too hot and you couldn't open the window more than two inches. The exterior of the hotel is shocking, it looks like a prison. Could do with a spruce up to make it look more appealing.

Old style but charmingly friendly. Arriving at 1.30 in the night, the receptionist attended our hungry request by preparing some sandwiches and drinks. Really helpful and kind.Location at the seaside was wonderful in an unexpected bright and sunny autumn day.

Excellent Sunday roast - I had the lamb. Accompanying veg portions too big. Our 2 could have fed 6. Lovely desserts and coffee, but advertised mints did not appear. Service very quick for starter and main, then really slow for dessert and coffee.

Don't be put off by the outside. The inside is nice. The staff are lovely. Breakfast really good. Rooms spotlessly clean. Plenty of sanitising stations and masks to be worn at all times while moving around the hotel. Well done to everyone at the Best Western.

There were a lot of holiday makers on a tour who all seemed to be having a great time.
As a business traveller you just get the feeling that the whole environment is kept in line with the drab 1960s exterior. Can't do anything much about the outside but it doesn't mean the interior has to be kept on theme! It's comfortable, just drab.
Perhaps the coach tour is this hotel's intended market. And it is good at that.
