Really disappointed my daughter didn't get a scholarship . yes I know there are so many kids that need it. She wants a good education and Catholic high school to go to . She graduated 8th grade and went to 9th in a Catholic high school . she wanted to finish her last 3 years in one. I understand why she was denied but that's not right. I have tried everywhere I could to fill out scholarships on line and got no help .

I think Mr. Batch I one great, compassionate gentleman. I request him to come to the Kristin O'Neill Memorial Foundation, on 9 April 2016 for a fun raiser for CORE . Mr Batch came an was the biggest surprise for Kristin mother an the receivers of Kristin's organs. Mr Batch made everyone's day to include Kristin's 5 year old daughter and my son Nicholas Minton who was Kristin's future husband, but she had a mental illness an lost her fight before they got married. Yes Mr Batch is great with the kids he helps in his foundation, but he does so much more to help everyone in need, he is really a Gods Gift an I am so proud to know Mr.Batch. I was confused by the name, but learned that it's Charlie Batch (the quarterback and a Homestead, PA native) giving back to his community. It seems like a cool place; they have lots of kids' programs and give away a ton of toys and stuff during the holidays. I volunteered to help during the post-holiday cleanup, in which we sorted and boxed up all the toys that didn't go out to be put into storage for the next event.

Awesome. Love Charlie. He's a true Pittsburgher. His foundation does so many great things for kids in their formative years and he helps point kids in the right direction. Back up QB but a pro bowl guy.

About Best of the Batch Foundation

Best of the Batch Foundation: Empowering Children and Families in Need

The Best of the Batch Foundation is a non-profit organization that has been providing after-school programs and offerings to children and families in need since 1999. The foundation was founded by former NFL quarterback, Charlie Batch, who wanted to give back to his community by providing opportunities for children to succeed.

The foundation's mission is to empower young people with the necessary tools and resources they need to achieve their full potential. They believe that every child deserves a chance at success, regardless of their background or circumstances.

One of the key programs offered by Best of the Batch Foundation is their after-school program. This program provides a safe and nurturing environment for children after school hours, where they can receive homework help, participate in educational activities, and engage in physical fitness activities.

In addition to their after-school program, Best of the Batch Foundation also offers summer camps for children. These camps provide an opportunity for kids to learn new skills while having fun with other kids from their community.

Another important aspect of Best of the Batch Foundation's work is their family support services. They recognize that many families face challenges beyond just financial hardship, such as lack of access to healthcare or legal assistance. To address these needs, they offer a range of services including health screenings, legal clinics, financial literacy workshops and more.

Best of the Batch Foundation also recognizes that education is key to breaking cycles of poverty. That's why they offer college scholarships for students who have demonstrated academic excellence despite facing significant obstacles.

Overall, Best of the Batch Foundation has made a significant impact on its community over its two decades in operation. Their commitment to empowering young people through education and support services has helped countless families overcome adversity and achieve success.
