It would really kill these guys to expand their checkin area. One cast member takes 10+ minutes for each dog. Plan ahead, especially if going to magic kingdom after. Otherwise very professional and a great place for pets to stay.
The hours are convenient to park going. It's clean and air conditioned. There are outside areas with dog pools and play areas. There are paths to walk dogs.
I love this place. They know my dog. They smile even though they are under staffed. They care for my dog and I don't have to worry about mistreatment. This passed week my pet was there 5 days for just during the day. He is terrified of other dogs and acts like he is aggressive but in reality would cower if approached by another dog. Because of that, I do not socialize him in day camp because he will cause a ruckus instead of having playtime. He had a bath, nails trimmed, had an ice cream treat and an extra walk. He did great. He wasn't dirty or stinky upon pick up on any of the days. He was able to bring his favorite bone that I put a treat in. He really has to work at the recovery of the treat so it keeps him busy throughout the day. I have used this kennel option many times in the past and will continue to use as long as they are available.
I hate that they are understaffed and hope they get more workers as more people find their way through this pandemic and back to work. I'd work there myself if it were and hour and 45 minutes away. If I could find reasonable housing, I'd move there today to help.
They are great with my old dog who is apprehensive to leave my side! Their prices are reasonable. You can add on a handful of bonus items for your dog. They offer doggy day care & overnight kennels.
If I could give zero stars I would. I could not check in my cat on the reserved date because my flights got delayed due to the hurricane. I finally arrived, I had a missed called from the pet hotel because they called while I was on my flight. Once I checked in my hotel I called them to see if I could still check my cat in and explain my situation. No answer at all. It s day 4 of my stay in my resort, I have called daily, I have waited 1 hour and 15 minutes every time I call. After that hour and 15 minute wait, the hang up on me. I press the action button to get a call back and no one calls me. At this point I have had to keep my cat with me against resort policies. I can t enjoy my vacation and the parks because I have to constantly be in my hotel room watching over my cat. The resort does security visual inspections everyday and again, pets are against policy. I spent a lot of money on this vacation and I can t enjoy it because this pet hotel is not realizable at all. I planned this vacation in advance. My husband is military and we came here prior to transferring to another state right before he gets deployed. We had no option but to brig our cat since we are moving across the country and we felt comfortable knowing that there was a Disney pet resort. We thought Disney quality there is no way we could go wrong by having our cat stay there . Well I was wrong. This place is not reliable at all!!!!
My dog loves it here..he gets soooo exited as we are pulli g around the corner into the lot!!!
A first time boarder here. Will bring my dog here again. He seemed to enjoy his stay very much. I would have given 5 stars, if the phones were answered, so anxious pet parents could check in on their fuzzy family members. Thank you and would definitely be a return boarder.
We re local and wanted our pup close when we did a staycation. Staff was friendly and loves animals! We will be using them again!
We used this for doggy day boarding for a full day at disney parks. The pup seems to like the place, good prices and great additional options. Your dog isn't forced to be in a playgroup if they are anxious around other dogs. Indoor and indoor/outdoor options. The service can be a little slow but the staff obviously cares about every dog they take in and they love bringing dogs back to their owners to see how excited they are :)
Our pup had a great time at Best Friends Pet Hotel! The staff was great and answered any questions I had. You re able to visit your pup as well so we took one morning just to spend some time with him. We added a few days of doggy day camp and our pup loved it! Plus, the pet cam was nice so we could watch our pup play throughout the day. I m very picky on where I board my dogs and I definitely recommend Best friends pet hotel!
My pups really look forward to going to Best Friends Pet Hotel! As a Disney Vacation Club member, it is great to have such a wonderful place for our pups! The staff is caring, friendly, and always helpful! Love their grooming services as well! We ve been coming for years and looking forward to years more!
