I was treated at GTU hospital for 3 weeks for a serious respiratory condition. Nurses were caring and helpful. Howerer, there was a surprising indifference in the attitude of GTU doctors. Their visits were rare, brief and formal. Important medical decisions and procedures were delayed for many days. Treatment by Dr. DeKlotz led to hypoxia and made me completely miserable. After leaving GTU I had to go to a different doctor in order to restore my breathing.

Georgetown has really nice grounds to walk as a visitor. Get ready to go up and down, though! Work out those thighs.

Parking here is ridiculous. Bad enough I'm here for cancer related treatment but the stress level of parking is unnecessary. 30 minutes late for my appointment due to parking.

Beautiful buildings of this ptestigious university one of the 8 of the Ivy League. You can walk in the garden freely. To see if you are in the Georgetown area, in my opinion to visit, when you come to Washington DC

Georgetown s campus is in the tony Georgetown neighborhood. It is peaceful to walk the campus from which you can see the Potomac river. There are some beautiful stone buildings near the campus main gate. A stroll around is worthwhile especially when you consider many famous people walked this campus.

Visited a few times, seemed very pretentious-unwelcoming. Signs of alcohol very prominent. Not what I expected-very disappointed

While I was a patient at Georgetown University hospital the experience was wonderful. Everyone looked out for me constantly checked on me took care of me helped me healed me and made me feel so comfortable I will never forget the people at Georgetown University hospital thank you so much for your hospitality your generous ways for thoughtful words it meant so much to me.

I dropped in as part of the Georgetown walking tour. The building was very beautiful, the facilities were managed beautifully. There is also a cafeteria and common people can use it freely. We walk a bit from the main street in Georgetown, but in front of the gate the metro bus stops so it is convenient.

Extremely racist professors that judge you solely based on your skin color. NOT recommened to visit this place.

Georgetown University was really great. A beautiful campus, although pretty small, tucked just on the other side of the Potomac from D.C. took us a while to figure out what Hoya Saxa meant. Thank goodness for Google. We figured out it's some weird thing they say, but can't remember what it means.

A place open to all unlike our old continent. For students and other academics there is eduroam. An "old college" that is worth stopping for a few minutes.

It is filled with rich moments of US history and future of political education. Georgetown is most unique in terms of culture-wise; most of the students are multi lingual and its community appreciates and respects non-American cultures. This university constantly forces students to interact with each other to broaden their point of views and make them more colorful in terms of personality. Definitely a place to consider for your higher education experience

Its very friendly when you come,in someone greets and make sure you go to,the right department.The Doctors that you may have are the very best knowledgeable in there frield you feel at ease not rush,the Doctors answer your questions without hesitation.

It was a little confusing getting around, but I hadn't been there in may years. The staff at the main entrance, patient pick up and parking were all polite and professional.

On Georgetown University campus. It's a huge campus and I got lost. A student helped me in the right direction to my meeting and I met ten months old Pilot.

Institute is logically laid out and tons of people to help you get around. Everyone I encountered was professional and friendly.

Georgetown university is mediocre at best. The school prides itself in being intellectually stimulating and yet the professors only have a PhD from Havard and Yale. The University greatly contrasts to Queensboro Community College which challenges its students to embark on an intellectually invigorating journey.

Beautiful University with a lot of great history in the city of Washington DC. As an MBA student, I have had great experiences on and off campus. Highly recommend checking out as an option!

Educaion is a serious business... must be free and independent.
Looks old from outside but fresh atmosphere inside...
note: parking 5$ per hour.

I try to generally look for positives but my experience here was hardly that. Very dirty, run down campus. Was put in Darnall Hall for a summer camp and it was crawling with mice, roaches, and ants. Most rooms did not have working air conditioning either and I had to buy a fan because facilities refused to come and fix them and the dorms were unlivable otherwise. Parking was insanely expensive for non-students. Darnall and half of the other buildings and parking garages were in complete need of overhaul and one step away from falling apart. According to my coworkers who have been here before, these problems have persisted for years and nothing is ever fixed. If coming on a tour I advise asking for a more thorough look around than the standard walkabout I see guides presenting. Also be prepared to spend 30-40% more for anything and everything considering you're in the heart of Georgetown and DC. Cannot comment on the academic programs here but I would advise looking elsewhere as a first choice.
