Good local fast food. They definitely prioritize the drive through, but I can understand why. Everything had a good home made taste

This is a fantastic, family owned business that uses quality ingredients in their burgers and shakes. The employees are always friendly. There was a brief time when their 50 year old milk shake machine died, but I'm pretty sure it has been replaced or repaired by now.

Food always fresh, sometimes slow service, but very worth the wait

Better burger at checkers or McDonald's less money also, even though Bertiles is so called hand pressed, bacon super thin, and cheese cold, didn't even start to melt. Meat didn't come close to covering the bun and the place is nasty!

I ORDERED SEVERAL CHILLI & CHEESE HOTDOGS....OMG THE FIRST BITE WAS BEGINNING TO GET GOOD UNTIL THE PEPPER FROM THE CHILLI STARTED BURNING MY LIPS FIRST THEN MY TONGUE....I CAN'T DO THE HOT & SPICY STUFF...MAYBE I NEED TO TRY SOMETHING ELSE THEY DON'T USE TOO MUCH PEPPER ON...

If your on your way to Florida and pass through this town, this is the place to stop to get awesome burgers and much, much more. Always try to stop every summer to eat lunch on the way home.

The staff are nice and the food is good, more so if it's being made by a particular cook.

Good home cooked food! The tables needed to be cleaned and no soap in the bathroom!

The best salads in town! Homemade dressing and great prices. Very clean atmosphere as well as the staff.

Advertises fresh hand-made beef patties but looked and tasted like frozen. Stale bun, cold hunk of cheese... very uninspired effort. Some tension between the woman cooking and the counter worker. Old run-down building. Website looked fantastic but is 100% deceptive.

They have some of the best burgers! The chili burger is my favorite!

Food is amazing, service needs a little improvement

Went through drive-thru, trainee gave me the wrong order (I can deal with that but if she ain't ready- don't leave her alone) I drive back, go inside to get my correct order. I then get fried-twice over cooked fries! Not happy but the Big bam-a burger is good.

Wow.... we were way past hungry! The looks of this place was sad. The food was alright. The workers were very nice.

Only reason for the 4 stars is we couldn't experience the whole package due to Covid 19 restrictions. Only got the drive thru... but boy are we glad we did!!! Great hand made burgers, fries and tots were great. If you're coming through Citronelle, screw McDumps etc and support local folks with much better food and eat here. The wife and I were passing through on one our "Covid Car Trips" or as she calls it "Car-antine Adventures" where we hit the roads, mainly backroads, and see the countryside through our windshield until we decide to turn back towards the barn. Try it... It. Is. Fun.

Can t believe y all no longer have the fish sandwich that was my favorite!

Headed home from the beach, google maps had us way off the highway, blessing in disguise. Bertiles Bama burgers was the best burger in the state!!

Just stopped in on my way back to Mobile.
This was the first I had heard of the place, but I like to support the local business'. I had seen another one of these restaurants and felt it must be good to have at least two locations.
I was not disappointed.
Had the chili burger with onion rings.
What a great burger! Made to order, but. It much of a wait time. And worth the stop.

Hamburgers are good but very small. Fries and onion rings were a little over done and the grease could use a changing.

The service was TERRIBLE! The young blonde girl at the counter had the worst attitude. She had a smart mouth when we were ordering, she never smiled. We drive for 3 hours to meet family in the town and we always eat while there. We normally go to the Iron Skillet but they were closed. If they are closed again we just won't eat in the town. Won't be going back to this place.

Everything my family had was excellent. From the fish sandwich to the premium conecuh sausage dog with everything on it. We will be going again when in the area.

This place is amazing!!!! Best burgers around! Well seasoned handmade patties and buttery biscuits. This is my favorite place to eat in Citronelle.

Friendly service, but not an attractive facade or interior. A bit of a non-issue, but worth pointing out.

Always good! It takes a little longer as they really do cook to order. Portions and quality are good, as well as the pricing. Hand pattied burgers, Salads and Milkshakes are a few favs.

Great place, don't miss the chance. I had the Bama combo and will be back. If there was one next to every McDonalds I'd never eat at McDonalds again.

Good, home style burgers with great grill taste! The place filled up quickly with the after church crowd. Popular with the locals is always a good recommendation. Well worth the stop!
