We have been here twice this year- the front desk remembered us and were extremely helpful. Knowing we had to leave early, they offered a to go breakfast! Very clean and lovely staff. We will definitely stay here when we visit Grindelwald.
We loved this cozy hotel. 100 meters from the station. It offers beautiful views. The rooms are small but cozy with all the amenities. The breakfast spread is huge. Would highly recommend this place

We stayed in the Deluxe room for 3 nights. The room is cozy and very clean. The view from our window and Balcony is amazing. We can see Eiger mountain just in front of us. We can sit at our Balcony and look at the view. The location is excellent just near the train station. We can check in and out easily. It may be a bit noisy in the day time as there is a bus area in front of the hotel, but it didn't disturbed us a lots as we were out during the day time. It is quiet at night. There is a supermarket right opposite to the hotel, and there is just a easy walk to the Grindelwade first station. The most wonderful piece of the stay was the breakfast. The cheese, cold cut and croissant are all delicious. We enjoyed the breakfast a lots and we were so looking forward the breakfast everyday. Even though we were staying at other hotel later on in Zermatt and Zurich. We were still thinking of the breakfast at Grandelwald. It was so good! So, I would highly recommend this hotel when you visit to Grindelwald.

Spectacular stay at Hotel Bernerhof! Such a wonderful family run place. Excellent food and such great service. Trains within walking distance and parking around the back.

Avoid rooms facing the Eiger mountain. They are of course pricey but a tad bit noisy too.
