We leased a car from this dealership in July. The car itself is fine. The dealership experience was NOT. Stay away and buy your Volvo somewhere else. Once we have chosen a car and agreed on the lease price, we have met with a lady who was very convincing to sell us the insurances, adding significant portion to our payment. I specifically asked if we could cancel any time, and the answer was that we would get a full refund if decide to cancel. Julie explained that the payment would remain the same, but the credit In the amount of full cost of insurance would be returned. I came home, did research, and realized insurance is not what I want. I requested to cancel right away (within first two weeks driving the car), with the understanding that I am within a grace period to cancel at no pronates cost. I also was made to believe that there will be no financing cost on the insurance if I cancel (why would there be if I cancelled.. When I called, Julie tried to push that no one has cancelled before, then on the follow up she said that she is too busy and have to do it after the end of the month. Then it appeared that we had to send another cancellation notice where the loan agreement should be indicated in writing. We eventually received a credit which was about $1000 lower that what we have added to the lease agreement if we add up increase in payment over 35 payment terms and compare to goal credit issued to Volvo account. Volvo does not want anything to do with it. Julie claims she warks in another department now , and general manager Sam is not answering numerous phone calls to get this resolved. It appears that this dealership is simply scammed me to receive commissions for insurance. Nice way to make an extra $1000 or so. I will be reporting them to consumer agencies... please do not trust them.
