Really cool store. If you are into RPGs and card games you'll find your crowd, but if you just want to buy a kite or a board game this is also your place.

Pretty average hobby shop. By "games", they mean board games, card games, etc. Not video games.

Will was awesome! We started playing Star Realms during quarantine and came in to get another game to mix it up. Will helped us find an in budget game with a similar vibe. Also! The prices here are on par with Amazon and you get advice from friendly staff members!

Great place to play games and get new games and learn about new games

Great selection of gaming goods of all genres and for all ages! Their gaming space is downstairs, and can be hard to notice, but is sectioned off nicely to limit noise. One draw back is the downstairs bathroom seems perpetually out of service, so you have to go upstairs and around the back for bio breaks.

Super clean and has a LOT of games and puzzles to choose from. Also has a demo section for people to try out games! It's also really organized and easy to get to everything.

This place was my stomping ground as a Cal student. The new location is great, hopefully they can get the same level of foot traffic, their old location was prime. The owner and staff are great and really knowledgeable. A MASSIVE selection of tabletop RPGs, including some stuff that is no longer in print. If you like stuff like D&D, come here. They don't carry many wargames besides Star Wars stuff (they don't carry 40k because of bad experiences with Games Workshop)

This place has every board game you could ever want! Some items are more pricey than online but I don't mind giving a little extra to a small business :)

The staff here are super friendly and helpful. I was able to get great advice on miniatures for a D&D campaign as well as paints and figures. They also have MTG packs, and sleeves. The best thing is the back game room!

Super cool store, seen it before but never went in till this time...all kinds of games and some toys, card games, board games, coloring books, darts, classic games and new ones...really cool stuff to check out. I had to buy something even though I originally planned on saving the cash. Spent a lil more than an hour inside scoping out all the goodies! Definitely worth a stop even just to check it out.

Games of Berkeley, or "GOB," if you're cool, is one of the best game shops I've been to in the country. I may be a little biased, as I spent a lot of time game shopping here when I was a young one. However, you will find just about any game here, or someone who can find it. You will also find very knowledgeable staff, and maybe even a pickup game of D&D or Settlers of Catan. Really great store, even though their prices could be a little better -- they do have to pay rent in Berkeley. I always try to support this store when I can. One of the best selections of dice I've ever seen.

Nice little store to buy and play games. Often has Magic events downstairs, which is pretty cramped and honestly has a few too many little kids who attend, but still generally a good experience.

The owner literally walked around the store and helped me shop, great guy great gifts and great shop.

This store is super interesting and full of super cool stuff. Hours can definitely be wasted just looking at the collection of items. I'd definitely recommend purchasing gifts and the likes from here rather than Amazon as you can look at the goods in person as well as support the local community.

Went in because i needed some sleeves and boxes for my collection pertaining to dbs tcg. Some mtg shop owners and employees dont like players from other games but this shop employee was friendly and helpful. I hope he succeeds in life.

Incredible selection of games for every taste! From traditional American staples, to eclectic and obscure games from around the world, this place has it. The complimentary Minecraft wrapping paper for the sign language game we picked was just the icing on the birthday cake!!

Best games store in the area. Unbeatable selection of games, miniatures and cards. Event space during the time before Covid is sweet. An added bonus is the disc golf disc selection which is highly varied including discs from less seen manufacturers such as Latitude 64 and Westside discs.

They have basically all.the.games! Such a cool store, if you're a board game geek/nerd.

They had a massive selection of board games carrying possibly hundreds of games I've never heard of and every board game I have. They have a couple games set up so that people can play them and get hands on experience before buying.

They also carry a decent amount of magic cards (I didn't look too close) and a ton of tabletop rpg books.

Overall an amazing place for anyone interested in tabletop gaming.

The staff were really nice here, and the store has a lot of different games of all different sizes and levels of difficulty. They also have a nice playing area out the back, with great facilities.

This place has an extremely large inventory of games although I felt a little uncomfortable at first because it felt like the clerks were following me like I wanted to steal, but it is located right next to the college campus so perhaps they have that problem.

Best place to buy games!! Not only do they have a huge selection of games, but they've been in the business for decades and can answer all your questions. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Be sure to check out the section of games from local game producers! So cool that they support local artists! They also support local gaming events and teams. I love when shops support their communities the way they do. I'll be their customer for life.
