Local center of Lisbon art culture. Read the quick history totally awesome for the arts. Tons of little cafes and great restaurant options too. TIP: Don t show up until 12 noon earliest. Not much happening. Apparently, artists are night people. And there is a 2 euro parking lot literally down the ally from the entrance that is super hidden and plenty of parking to be had down that little ally.

There are many cafes, restaurants, a library. Boutiques with designer clothing and goods for the interior and home. Live music. Cafe, where a cool view of the city and the statyu of Christ.

Very very nicely set up location in Lisbon !!!! I like it how at the entrance the traditional Portuguese style mosaic was presented on a circular pattern. That really speaks to me. We went for a vegan restaurant called the therapist. Tried pink burger. Great stuff.
The place is just oozing with style and design. Love it.
I am reminded of some stylish places in Bangkok but this is way way better in that the dose of design and commercial elements are just so balanced.

Very arty place! Restaurants here do not really serve traditional Portuguese food- they are more on world cuisine from Mexican to Italian. I would go here to explore boutiques and that nice bookstore not for food.

Very cool, hip area with small, unique stores and a few places to eat and drink. On Sundays, there are vendours set up, selling mostly homemade items in front of the stores which make it a little hard to walk through (very busy) but nice to see. There was a live band at one bar who were amazing! Some photo opportunities with neat wall art.

I like this place, particularly the Rio Maravilha bar with its fantastic terrace where you can Looking at the sunset and the sea while sipping on a cocktail and delicous tapas. That's one of my favorite places in Lisbon.

Lovely area where you can find things that are a bit "off the menu" in the regular City shops.
Also a nice area to enjoy food and drinks with friends or to meet new people while doing that.
Area has a artistic vibe so for all of those who enjoy grafiti art and mosaics good area to stroll around.

Lots of cute stores, cafes and restaurants. Sadly I missed the market on sunday, but would have loved to experience that. Would definitely recommend spending an afternoon/evening here if you like vintage and sustainable stores and/or just something a little different.

Great urban neighborhood with all kinds of fun places to grab a bite and admire the painted buildings. It is relatively hard to get there using public transport, so keep that in mind when traveling here. You are however near the water so there is a lot to explore in this area.

If you are in Lisbon on a Sunday, don't skip this market. It has a great variety of food and craft stalls with a lot of local produce. Vendors are generally friendly and helpful. You won't be alone at the market, but it's not too crowded either.

An amazing place for shoppers and tourists alike! It s especially a gem on sundays when there are so many little stalls. You can easily spend 2 hours here on Sunday afternoon. The vibe in the afternoon is also hip and fun, with lots of music coming out from cafes and street performances. It s a great place to walk around, and make sure you go inside to the second floor of the factory where there are more studios!

This is one of the best places I've been in Lisbon! An old rustic place that emanates a peaceful, colorful and positive energy! Highly recommended to everyone that is looking for something unique in Portugal's capital.

Lx Factory is definitely my favourite spot to hang out in Lisbon.
Great to take the number 15 tram and enjoy the ride there.

When there, there are ao many options for food, for shopping and especially for the sunset and drinks. (There s an incredible bar on top, with an incredible view of the Tejo, the red bridge and Almada.) - sadly closed in times of Covid.

The graffiti scene is incredible, and even the toilets haven t escaped!

Lx Factory became even more special since de addition of Drag Taste! It s 35 to get in, but it s an all you can eat/drink for two hours (the length of the show!) and the queens are the cutest and most talented in Portugal, for sure!

Also one of my favourite spots - Ler Devagar- is based there. It s a wonderful gem of a bookshop. Definitely worth a visit!

One of the best place in Lisboa. The atmosphere is special, you feel happiness when you walk through. In the evening every square meter of the district is alive, there is live music, a lot of cool shops, restaurant, art gallery, everything is really nice. You have to go there!

Cute area and an eye full in its little 2 street area it poured so I did t get to stay long but will go back. Be mindful how to get there as it is NOT along the water as g maps makes it look.

Real nice as a photographer to walk around. Every time you walk around in Lx you discover something new.

An art center and a place to get along and live, you can go shop, drink and sometimes you can listen alive music outside while you eat. An amazing place to spend some time, prices a bit inflated, especially beer, considering the general infraetructures quality and considering too that this center is an avangard center with old structures as decoration that was to be demolished. Few places to eat Vegan food.

Really cool place and a must-visit in Lisbon. Great street art, really cool shops and restaurants. Kind of like an "alternative & hip neighborhood". I really enjoyed exploring this place. Don't forget to stop in one if the arts & crafts stores for some really cool & local products.

Great place to eat something or enjoy some of the more hipster culture part of Lisbon. Definitely a must stop for a young person when visiting the city. The rooftop bar is amazing, however the art all over the place has a unique vibe all day every day.

So apparently this place was a factory in the past, transformed in an artistic, food and retail area with live music and a huge library. Was very surprised finding this place, after following advice from other reviewers online. It's a hidden gem here in Lisbon. You should definitely visit and explore the place. There's some great food places: I recommend the burger restaurant which is very filling. When you order a burger, you get complimentary fries and sauce.

We absolutly loved this place.
There is modern art everywhere, you find cool bars and restaurants as well as unique shops all over the area.
A special place to go to is the Library, where you can read, buy books, drink coffee or climb the stairs and meet a kind of "nutty professor" who is more than happy to give you a tour of all his inventions. A must do while there.

What a superb place to spend an entire day. Shop, lounge, lunch, enjoy the art, shop, dine, talk to all the shopkeepers, they are so friendly and you ll learn a lot and make a lot of friends. Love this place !

Old Factory buildings that have been revived in an artistic way. There are little DIY shops and creative looking cafes everywhere and it's nice to take a stroll past the amazing graffiti arts on the walls. Definitely worth a visit!

When in the city, especially if you like a little bit of hipster scene than this is a place to go. I visited it on my first day in town. It was relatively hard to get to, as there is only one open entrance and gates around are closed, but once I finally walked in it was an awesome experience. You will find a great number of unique shops, beautiful restaurants and galleries. Also there is a nice bookstore there. All within a series of disused warehouses and factories. Just marvelous. Lx factory is the most contemporary spot in Lisbon and absolutely a must visit.

This is by far the once place you need to visit (late afternoon of course, Lisboa is not a early morning city. But it is the perfect place for a late afternoon drink and them just shopping over so many unique product and maybe dinner, is all under one roof mix of new and old, rustic and elegant.

Great and eclectic mix of bars and eateries. Some better than others. One or two best avoided. Go for the ambience and the boho-hipster aesthetic but be aware that this place attracts the younger boisterous crowd of tourists that can often become a bit testing if you're after the more sedate and chill Lisbon vibe afforded elsewhere.

LxFactory is super inspiring place. A little hipster, alternative and a super cool vibe. In there you can find some great restaurants, ateliers, bars, stores, everything. There s a nice view to the bridge and the river, and tons of insta spots.

A nice location beneath the great bridge, you have a lot of things to do there. From classic shopping store to a Drag Queen establishment. Art is the master word of the place in the main building with all types of creators working there on many floors. The place is also great to eat, with coffee or burger houses and a rooftop!

This is a really interesting and unique area in Lisbon, with a totally different vibe to other parts of the city. It used to be a factory and all the buildings and outhouses have now been converted into cafes, restaurants, shops, galleries and public spaces. There is some very interesting street art to see, there are often buskers and musicians performing on the streets, and you can tell it's a place where creative people like to gather. There are also spectacular views of the Tagus river and the bridges from here. If you have been to the Soho Factory area of Warsaw, then this has quite a similar vibe, very hipster. It's definitely worth visiting if you're exploring Lisbon and have a few hours to spare.

Awesome place, close to the southern part of the city center, temporary showroom of art and events, very nice and chilling rooftop bar with the view on the river. Restaurants and shops easy going but not cheap.

This place is so cool! We came on a Sunday, when there's a flea market with stalls and vendors selling vintage clothes, handmade jewelry, art, etc. along the main path. We wandered around inside the buildings and imagined what it used to look like in its previous incarnation as a factory. Lots of places to grab a coffee or sit and enjoy a beer in the (hopefully) sun. Busy mix of tourists and young locals.

Very cool, artistic space with lots of local businesses, beautiful art and great food. Great views of the river and great drinks from Rio Maravilha. Nice to go on a Sunday when the markets are running, although it can be a little crowded and touristy.

This could be quite nice but when we went

This could be quite nice but when we went
1 it was a building site
2 a nice street with tables on was open to traffic so there was a steady of cars
3 Access from one end is randomly locked off so you can't walk through and have to walk a 15 min diversion round

The people who run this place don't understand how to create a nice environment

A place where the wondering mind can be, get lost and enjoy the tourist spot in Lisbon. Most of the shops they sell are home made and from the heart so you know you are getting something unique. Not like the general stuff that stems from a few countries. Nevertheless, if you want something from the Portuguese people, then this is a place you can take a piece of Lisbon to you :)

One of the most amazing places I ve ever been to. If you re in Lisbon on a Sunday you simply HAVE to go there. The whole terrain is like an adventure land for adults and you won t stop finding hidden gems. Beautiful vibe, shops, restaurants, cafes, bars etc.

Fantastic market, definitely visit the old print factory converted into a book shop! Lovely way to enjoy a stroll under the bridge - this area has recently been redeveloped and its just lovely. Beautiful street graffiti too!

This place was interesting because you can find something creative in the shops, especially in the bookstore. Still, it's mostly not enough and even a bit of a waste of time to be a tourist and then have a limited time. In addition, the restaurants were not good enough. Long story short: Not recommended!

Nice example of industrial reconversion. I found it a bit too much as a tourist attraction - super commercial - than a place for locals. Also, I think it lacks of personality: there is almost no difference wrt other reconverted areas in other cities and countries. These should reflect somehow the identity of the city instead of being an impersonal space created as a mere source of income

We arrived late at 21.00. Most places closed. No live music. Pizza place had very good pizzas with very thin base. They took Corona regulation too serious . More than 2 meters distance outside.

Hipster paradise. A factory compound converted into a recreational area with coffee shops, art galleries and quirky shops. Sport your long beard, fancy moustache and nonconventional attire and go there to be special like everybody else!

Pretty cool spot for some random bits of art work on the sides of the buildings. Quite quiet due to COVID, I'd say only about 50% of the shops are open. Not very lively but still a nice place to check out if you are in the area. Would be keen to see it with a bit more atmosphere etc.

LxFactory is famous art center in Lisbon. It's between Lisbon Center and Belem. It's under the bridge, you can go here by bus and tram as well. There are lot of beautiful shop there. There is one nice library as well. There are lot of street shops and some nice cafes and restaurant around. It's nice place to walk and enjoy.

A great place to visit. It s great to walk around and they have great stores and restaurants. That being said they need to figure out the parking situation. Sometime cars are allowed inside, sometimes not. The roads inside are not big enough to accommodate many people walking and cars. They should simply make it a car free zone, focus on more places for people to spend time and it would be amazing.

LxFactory is like a home for Art lovers. Book shops, cafes, paintings and alot of positive energy. I really liked the book shop there it's very big and interesting to visit. There is a shop where I found a scooter and number plate was from my state in India haha.. that moment was very surprising. Anyhow must visit if you want to chill out.

LX Factory is worth a visit. Has some interesting vintage shops and hipster style products all set out in a disused factory. There's a range of food outlets serving a range of lunches including scrambled eggs.

Cool spot. Lots of street art. Worth going during daylight for cool pictures. When night-time you can't really appreciate much all the art on the surroundings but there's still a good ambiance!

It was so weird to find Lx Factory completely empty on a Sunday morning. But at the same time, I was quite happy that most people are really staying at home, during this damn pandemia. Keep safe!!
