Worst school ever. Teachers bully students, when students speak up they get suspended. When parents request a meeting with teachers about what is going on in the students classroom teachers refuse. When the principal is confronted about things going on within her school, she is clueless about them and then mad that they are brought to her attention and pushes the "investigation" off on someone else but doesn't keep parents informed on findings or even return messages.
When parents give students permission to do something, office staff don't allow it. Office staff harassing students after school in parking lot about being on their phones, coaches allowing students to play in sports without parent consent or sports physical, when asked coaches deny it and bully students after the fact. This school doesn't like to have their faults brought to light and if they are, instead of fixing them they take their issues out of the children.
They have a dress code, yet if you are one of their favorite students you can wear whatever you like, if you have an injury and a doctor note you still have to wear uniform even if it means causing more damage or pain to injured area. Avoid this school at all costs

This school is a joke i was a student here and i honestly had the worst middle school years a child could have. People were bullies, corrupt teachers choosing favorites. The staff cut corners and were always on budget. The lunch was horrible, fake cheese and plastic-like vegetables. The only seemingly edible food there was their pizza. The highschool side had some decent teachers and the elementary side had good teachers. But before i was even two weeks going to berean i heard about the rude teachers. Save your child the time and go elsewhere

I do not recommend this school. There are better charter schools her that care about the children. I took my son out because my son told me the teacher would flick and pinch him. They don't care about the kids unfortunately. They have know system in the parking lot , it's a crazy mess trying to get out of there. 2 weeks in someone ran over a cat right inform of the school. It was a horrible site. When I told the school what happened to my child they said they would investigate and to move on that my son don't go there anymore. They didn't have any sympathy for my child. Hes terrified to go to school now.

My 4 year old son had never attended school before starting his pre-k year at Berean Preschool. I wanted a loving Christian environment that was also academically focused so he would be prepared for Kindergarten. About a month into the school year, his teacher noticed he was finishing his work quickly and he wasn't being challenged enough. She tested him and realized he was ready to try the Kinder-bridge curriculum, but of course asked for my approval first. We went with it and my son excelled at a pace I could have never imagined. By the end of the school year, he was reading books! He loved school and his teachers, and what more could I have asked for? This may not be the flashiest preschool in town, but rest assured your child will be loved and he or she will learn everything needed to begin Kindergarten (or even first grade!). There were 2 field trips during the year, a Christmas concert, and a precious graduation ceremony at the end of the year complete with caps and gowns. I'm so glad we chose this preschool for our son.

Besides the campus being clean and feeling secure, there isn't much else to be happy about. The faculty are hit or miss when it comes to how helpful they are. The breakfast for kindergarten is a joke, usually a packaged muffin or something similar. The school seems to cut corners on budgets. I've seen and heard several of the better teachers have quit.

We are going into our 4th year at Berean Academy and we have been pleased. There is no perfect school and this one is no exception with that in mind I feel this is the best option in SV.

Don t waste your time..please go on the military base, do not take your child to schools off base, it s very ghetto, unprofessional, and a bad influence. If there was an option for zero stars, I would do just that. I moved out of the school a year ago. I remember being in class and learning NOTHING because the teacher would have a student teach math not even on our grade level. My sister and I hated this school so badly. She was bullied and threatened to be JUMPED the school did NOTHING. You should be ashamed of your school . If you cared about students you would close this school down because this is an absolute disgrace. The positive reviews are lies. I assure you the chance of your child have a good experience here is 1 in a billion. I do not recommend this school if you want to fail your classes.They have two teachers for sixth grade, and it s considered elementary. They barely have any teachers in the elementary section anyway.
My experience was horrid. Everyone there want to leave this school...They made us write a essay about how we love berean, we made up a bunch of lies....The teachers are bad at teaching.They have many unprofessional, unqualified teachers there...you don t NEED A LICENSE TO TEACH AT THIS SCHOOL! The students and their mouths...The teachers don't even discipline students for their bad behavior....This is the most ghetto school I've ever been to. Do NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILD IN THIS SCHOOL!

Wouldn't recommend, The school holds your property under ransom where you are to pay twenty dollars to get back. When IEP is said to leave early to get lunch, Teacher doesn't remember. The science teacher was alright along with the Special Education teacher. But the whole place is a joke.
