Went with my gf for a wedding. Beautiful inn, wonderful owners, gorgeous location! Completely recommend

We love this place. Atmosphere is quiet and restful. The service is fantastic and the food was excellent. I had the spinach frittata which was flavorful and the prime rib was done to perfection.

We brought the family down for an Easter Egg hunt in the field followed by brunch. The hunt was wonderfully organized and run by a man, who I assumed was the owner. He was extremely pleasant and clearly showed he loved what he did. The prizes we got for the kids were great, we even got a few extra from the left overs.
The brunch was very good too, the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

This place is amazing we stayed here a couple years ago. We had my sister 50th birthday party here. It was amazing and the owner were very hospitable to all of us I made a comment about the horseradish and 2 weeks after we got home they actually had sent me a jar of it. They are amazing and we will definitely go back.

We have lived in Tompkins County for 17 years, and somehow missed this gem.. the food IS AMAZING. the menu is small, but it's because they focus on doing it well, and it shows. I will absolutely be adding this to my nice night out list of options, I have 17 years of not knowing about it to make up for!!!

The Benn Conger Inn is the most lovely place! My husband and I and our full bridal party spent the wedding weekend at the Benn Conger Inn. The rooms are Beautiful, each with its own decoration scheme and personality, and there are lovely common spaces where everyone can gather. We also hosted the wedding brunch here, and the food was delicious. Doug and Peter were an absolute dream to work with. Both were super quick and helpful correspondents via phone and email. They were really friendly, really organized, and never made me feel stressed about any part of the planning process. I'll always associate the Benn Conger Inn with one of the most love-filled weekends of my life, and I can't imagine a more perfect backdrop for spending quality time with dear ones.

Thank you to Ben Conger for preparing a delicious 55th wedding anniversary dinner for my parents! Can't wait until we can return to indoor dining!

Easter brunch 2018 was terrible. Food was not good at all cold and overcooked. Was expecting a higher end type of food for the money we paid.

As always, the service is perfect, even if it's " curbside". And the food is just as good as a sit down meal. Best of luck to our local businesses. Hope they all are able to survive and flourish.

Long time ago, an overnight stay with good food, good drinks, room with fireplace, king size bed overlooking the grounds. Owners are wonderful. I still remember our stay and you can't beat it

Dont judge food quality by its photo. This place is cozy and friendly, that s about it. Food is horrible and tasteless. We couldn t finish our food. I never bothered about price it the food is good. This is pricy and bad food. And never try their Alfredo Chicken.

My family stayed at the Benn Conger last weekend. Our party included local guests along with guests from Colorado, San Francisco, North Carolina and the Thousand Islands. The Benn Conger Inn and Restaurant was the perfect place for our perfect weekend. The rooms were obviously designed with deep consideration for contented guests; every detail of our visit was considerately and graciously orchestrated. The bed was comfortable, the fireplace cozy, the bathroom was ultra modern. The entire place is so charming! You would think that all of these things in themselves would make for a memorable weekend, but there's more! The hosts are inviting, friendly and super nice to be around. Meals are every bit as delicious as they are elegantly served. I look forward to my next visit with deep anticipation - thank you for making my family so comfortable.

Can't wait to go back! Went for new year's Eve dinner....their 7 onion soup was one of the most flavorful, delicious foods I've ever tasted.....AND the hosts/owners are super friendly and welcoming... HIGHLY recommend!

Stopped in today for a Fundraiser held at the Benn Conger Inn! Beautiful facilities! Wonderful owners! Looking forward to coming back for a delicious Friday or Saturday night dinner. The weekly changing menu looks fresh and fabulous! :)

We spent a week at the inn recently while visiting my wife's relatives. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and the accommodations are clean, comfortable, and quiet. We enjoyed a variety of large, well-prepared breakfasts served daily, and we all gathered for an excellent evening meal in one of their gorgeous dining rooms. A very pleasant stay!

My favorite restaurant in the whole world. The food is good, but the atmosphere and genuine friendliness makes it top notch. I m never disappointed.

Easter Brunch 2018. Much of the Food either cold and over cooked, food was mediocre. We expected more based on the reviews.

Went there for the Easter egg hunt and brunch. Wonderful to see the smiles on the staff's faces as they watched the children run around the field. Great giveaways too, not just bags of candy.

Spent a lovely weekend at the Benn Conger the first week of August 2018. The suite was clean and comfortable -- a great place to catch up with my BFF from high school. Peter and Doug were warm and welcoming, and along with Babs, very helpful. They all made my first stay a solid reason to return. Dinner was pretty good, too.

This was the best place we have stayed at. Everyone made us feel welcome and special. Food was fantastic. Dinner and breakfast. Owners gave great recommendations of things to do in the area. So close to Ithaca and the Cayuga Wine Trail. Quiet, quaint. Would give this a 10/10 if I could. Will be back with my whole family.

Service was prompt and of good quality. Ambience was excellent. Food was delicious. We only stayed for dinner but thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

My husband and I recently spent the night here in celebration of our 2-year wedding anniversary. The main house is beautiful and the Victorian house adjacent to the main property was cozy and comfortable (we stayed in the yellow room complete with Jacuzzi tub and balcony). We had dinner at the restaurant that evening - the prime rib was to die for! - and the wait staff was really friendly. They also had a local guitarist/singer playing music throughout the meal, which really added to the atmosphere. After our dinner was finished, the owner even invited us into the bar area for a night cap, some good conversation, and a tour of the house. We felt like a part of the family and would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great experience!

Pretty cool place to have dinners, banquets and weddings at.

We had our wedding at the Benn Conger inn and it was perfect! Doug and Peter were amazing and did such an excellent job at handling all of our requests. The staff were so much fun and even danced with us during the event! We were able to have the wedding ceremony in the gazebo and our wedding party all stayed in the beautiful rooms in the inn and the victorian house. Our guests had a wonderful time. I loved that they were able to roam about the inn and enjoy themselves. We had guests on the front porch, in the bar, outside on the back porch and out on the dance floor. At the end of the night, we all ended up on the dance floor. We stayed friday to sunday and had our rehearsal dinner in the red room. It was so intimate and relaxing. We used Washburn entertainment for our dj and they were amazing and knew how to set up at the inn for a wedding and reception. They played such great music and we danced all night long. They are extremely helpful and friendly. Doug and Peter catered to all our needs and were always there to help my husband and I throughout the whole process and the wedding weekend. We also used Dotties ice cream for the cake and it came out perfect - just like the picture I sent her and it tasted amazing! I actually can't wait until next year to eat it again. The Benn Conger inn is a hidden gem and so close to syracuse and Ithaca for any guests that are traveling. Can't wait to go back on our anniversary and have dinner and stay the night!

We visited and had family that is familiar with the "Ben Conger" from out of town and decided to get some food and they were out of everything ( it was 7:00 PM.) The
staff was very nice and helpful an Appetizer was 25 minutes and the owners were on "vacation" and not available.We had a short drive to the VFW with a band !"))

We had a great dinner and I mentioned to the waitress that my daughter was a vegetarian a that I had called and asked if there was a fish dish and the owner told me there was but when we went to the buffet, there was no fish dish there. So the waitress went into the kitchen and got a whole plate of fish just for my daughter. It was so sweet of the waitress and now I am a true Been Conger Inn customers!!
